I liked this place at first. I was interested in a Jeep I seen online and was told it was sold. Ended up getting a Ford Explorer and it was a quick and easy buying experience (or so I thought). 3 days later the Jeep was still for sale on the lot. There was a few minor issues that needed to be fixed. The front window frame, hole in roof, 02 sensor and all 4 charger plugs. I made a date to bring it back and they still had it for 2 whole days and only half was fixed. Made another appointment and found out they send it to Thomas Tire to be fixed. Another 2 days and still have issues. Missing time off work, missed kids doctors appointment. Given the run around. Horrible experience.

Financing was made easy, they explained everything and I left with a great truck and great warranty. Matt was awesome.

Should’ve known better than to buy from a “bargain car” dealer, but thats on me. Truck was fine, but dealership is super pushy to make a sale, as far as following me out the door after I had already gotten in my car to leave. Purchased a Tacoma from them, super responsive before the sale, agreed to mail the plate and paperwork once received from the DMV. Was like pulling teeth to get ahold of anyone, no response at all from anyone when I asked about receiving the plate. (Emailed both guys I was in touch with during the sale)Called in multiple times with enough notice that they should’ve had no problem getting my plate to me (which they had for a few weeks) in time. Called one final time a few days before my temp tag expired, was told it was mailed two days prior, which was a lie considering the date on the package was dated the same day I made the final call. Plate expired and had to drive my other vehicle for the time being.Won’t be back.

Went in Saturday to look at a Cadillac that we seen online. Nice looking car had a little apprehension about the interior. My wife decided she liked it and put 3k down and signed some papers. We were going to bring the rest of the money on Tuesday when we picked it up. Thats when it was supposed be ready because they had to fix some things. My wife decided that the interior was in too bad of shape. The leather on the doors and dash had a crack look to them. On Monday my wife decided that interior was in too bad of shape and she did not want the car. I went in and told them this. They said I could either buy the car or lose our 3k. I understand that signing the papers might be binding but we have not taken delivery of the car but this is poor customer service as far as I am concerned. We were very interested in a Cadillac at the other Van York store. I guess we are stuck buying this car. I am not sure what the law is concerning this situation. I have talked with another manager with another dealership and he said that is not the way they do business. Thank you and will see you Tuesday.

This car dealership had poor customer service. They told me to apply for the car online and I was told I was approved. I was informed of my payment, how much I had to put down, and the year terms of the loan. I was asked for my latest checkstub. I sent in my check stubs and then heard nothing. I contacted the dealership and the salesman told me he would contact me as soon as things were worked out. I never heard anything back for the rest of the day. I called the following day several times and heard nothing. Finally I was able to get through and a salesman told me the Salesman was off. Like if you are off on a random Thursday why not convey that with your client who you are in the middle of closing with during a competitive market. It shows the lack professionalism or either experience of the lot. I am so disappointed and I was a client that was out of town who was reassured from their site and initial contact that they were experts with working with clients out of town. If you are an out of town client beware the communication is terrible and they will run your credit and have no intention of helping you get into a car.

We were looking for a car for our daughter.Glad we stopped here..Mark showed us a low miles 2008 Honda Civic..perfect for our teenage daughter! He helped us with financing and even suggested a warranty for our peace of mind! We had the car a couple days and check engine light came on..I called back and let Mark know..he immediately offered us a car to drive while they checked our situation..Turned out to be cracked head..when you buy used you never know what you may get...These guys gave us another car to drive while they worked on the civic. In the end they replaced the whole top end of the engine, new belts and hoses, and even did the 100,000 mile service for us...it took a few weeks to complete as parts took time to come in....Mark was very nice and professional through the whole process, he explained to us that since we had been without a car for almost a month...he would pay our first months payment...WOW...Totally amazed, its a GREAT Car, we are very GRATEFUL for the Honesty and Integrity that Vann York Bargain Cars has shown us! Applied for fast approval on Friday. Pulled my credit report on Friday, didn’t get a call, score dropped over 30 points. I was in the mid/low 600- range. No call over weekend, I figured it was because banks/ companies were closed. I waited. Tuesday afternoon I still hadn’t received a call. I call Van York Bargain Cars Tuesday was told they “were working on my application and I would get a call soon.” Never heard from them again. Four days go by, Not even a courtesy call was given saying they could not help me. Had $1500 to put down, not even a call. Find out following Saturday car was sold via CARFAX, Not even a call from the dealership. This is not how you do business. Now I have a hard inquiry on my report for two years for now reason.

I wouldn’t buy from this car lot. The vehicle we were looking to buy had nearly bald tires barely 1/4 tread left on them, they wanted top dollar for the vehicle he advised once the finance paperwork was done he would look into the tires. The paperwork was filled out and we were approved on the vehicle and we dealt with the salesman Joshua who was under the manager mark tucker we spoke with him and told him we were not coming down unless tires were put on or the price of tires were taking off the vehicle price that we didn’t want to come waste their time or our own and Joshua advised he would call his tire guy. We went later that day to see no tires when asked he said no tires were being put on nor was the price being dropped because his sales manager mark tucker says the are practically new tires with barely enough tread to pass inspection and on top of that the left front tire had a screw in it causing the tire to leak, still would not replace only patch the tire. To me this is horrible customer service, you ask top dollar for a vehicle it should be as perfect as a used car can be including new tires. The finance manager matt bass was the only one nice to work with he was very professional.

I initiated a credit app and contact with Joshua on Wednesday Jan 22 and was driving away in a fully loaded, low miles vehicle before lunch on Thurs Jan 23rd!!! I didn’t have much of a cash down payment, didn’t have a great trade and don’t have the best credit but THEY MADE IT WORK! And I have a warranty! If you need a vehicle, go here first!

Do not buy the warranty from this dealership. Bought my mother n law a van from them. Was very hesitant on buying the extended warranty which was very expensive and sure enough 1 year later she totaled the van. I tried to call the warranty company and ask about partial refund due to the fact the Van was totaled, emailed the all the requested paperwork well over a month ago and they will not respond to me at all. The dealership said they were a great company or they would not deal with them. Well I disagree, also I called Vann York explained the issue said he would check into it and call me back that afternoon. You think I have had a phone call or follow up. No. (well over a month ago)So please do not buy the extended warranty , I can only imagine if I would have had to use the warranty. $2,500 down the drain. Of course I will do no more business with them at all.

Got a truck from here. Decent price, could have been better but Im a terrible negotiator. Wife couldnt leave work to sign paperwork so they had a driver meet her at her job which was nice. She did call about not getting a tank of gas and sales man was pretty rude about it. Asked if someone had promised gas and then said once I brought the rest of the paperwork in hed fill it up knowing good and well that the driver they sent to my wifes work was bringing the paperwork back. So far so good on my truck though.

They sold me a car warranty when I purchased my vehicle. 5 months later I decided to cancel it. They told me I would have to come in an sign something, so I did. That’s been 3 months, it looks like they just kept the refund.

I SUGGEST DONT BUY FROM VANN YORK BARGAIN!!! I needed a co-signer so had someone co sign for me to get a truck... needless to say they didn’t put my name on the tire at all now it’s in the “co-signers” name. Also they give you a “60 day warranty” 60 days isn’t even enough time to figure the car out if you’re someone like me that has a company truck to go to work in daily. I traded in a new 2016 great shape car for a 2012 truck and right off the start it had problem they never figured it they tried to get around fixing it by telling me the only days they can do it is days I’m working. Tried fridays which is best day for me said there guy that deals with fixing them isn’t open on fridays. First off any shop you go to is open Monday-Friday. No questions. Now I have $4k in the truck I bought from them and still putting money into it but needs whole new front end. Thanks van York bargain for screwing me over.

First off, I like my new truck but I let my guard down due to these guys being so nice and friendly. They slicked a high interest rate by me and an extended term. They failed to point all of this out a signing as they new I wouldnt sign it had they brought the rate and term up. I had financing arranged elsewhere and they said that they could beat it. Shame on me for not looking more closely at signing. I let my guard down and trusted a car dealer to do as we had talked about and they got me when I wasnt looking. Once again, shame on me for not paying attention but shame on them for not doing as they said they would. Never again will I trust a dealer. Always beware no mater how nice and helpful they seem. Car dealers have no conscious. I am in the process of refinancing now.

Hassle free car buying experience. Wanted to do something special for my wife for Mothers Day. She saw a sonata that she loved just from the pics. I called and talked to Matt, got approved, and the next day went for a test drive and brought it home. Matt helped me get financed with a great rate and got me the extended warranty on top of the manufacturer warranty and the vann York warranty. A/C compressor wasnt working right so I called them and brought the car back to have it looked at, was given a car to drive while it was being repaired, and had the car back in a few hours. Great group of guys to work with.

Where should I start. Short version. Son purchased a car in Jan 2016, Drove off the lot and we figured everything would be handled. Ins, transfer of tags and getting the loan. Well here it is March 2016 and we have had to go back in and sign paper work...3 times. Yes three different occasions called back to sign loan paper work. They evidently also do not call and get Ins coverage on your new vehicle, they also do not tell you that you the buyer need to call and get coverage either. They asked for the Ins account info so I would assume this would be to call and get coverage, why else would you need my INS account info. Lastly, transfer of tags have yet to take place since I just got a notice from the DMV that I have had a lapse in coverage and will have to pay an extra $50. Needless to say, our experience has been a bad one with the employers and owner not handling the paperwork on their end in a timely manner. Car is working great and it was a reasonable price. I would not recommend anyone purchasing from this dealer unless you are ready for a headache of issues with paperwork.

Just recently bought a used Tacoma from these guys and my experience was nothing but excellent. I recently just moved to NC from PA and didnt switch my license or anything to NC yet. I ran into a few problems working out the deal because of that. The process of making sure I had the required documents proving I lived here was a hassle and took a few days while I made sure I was doing things the right way. Matt and Rick were extremely patient. They gave me the benefit of the doubt even though someone gave them a cash offer for the vehicle I was purchasing, they held the vehicle for me without a deposit put down on my end for the vehicle. Not to mention they gave me a great number on my trade in. Very fair prices, awesome customer service, and they do things the right way no matter what. I recommend them to anyone.

Customer Service is great before you buy the car. They really work with you and I got my truck at a decent price. They didnt tell me about the work which needed to be done though. Are they required to? No, but it would have been great to know that I would be throwing $1000 into it a month after I bought it because the brakes and rotors were worn down to shreds. And after you drive off the lot, they dont help with much else. Im happyish with the price that I bought my truck for, but I thought they would have talked with me some after the purchase.

Fair enough price, friendly staff, but have YOUR mechanic check it out before you buy. Wheel bearing went bad 3 months after buying, $500 to repair.

This has been a very exciting week for me!!!!! I was window shopping for cars last weekend and saw a few cars I liked at VAnn York Bargains on Westchester Dr... On Monday during my lunch break I stopped by just to take a closer look at their inventory.. A gentleman by the name of Matt Bass asked if he could offer me his assistance... I broke my decision down to three cars that he could work on getting me approved for.. I would happily take anyone of my three choices... I went back to work and little did I know what God had in store for me...Matt called me back in less than three hours and asked me to come back to the dealership to see if I would be happy with the car I got Approved for!!! I went and looked at a SUV here. They hide a lot of stuff on their vehicles. At first the vehicle skips while test driving and they said they would have it checked. Salesman called me back and said it was good to go. I test drive again to find out the clutch packs are worn out. Salesman had been driving the car home and said he knew it was bad and was gonna fix it before I bought it. Well I call back to see if it had been fixed and he said oh we were going to fix it but a guy bought it just like it was. Didnt even get a courteous call to say they sold it. Low class if you ask me.

The customer service was good but I purchased a car that had recently got into the lot before they did a detail they said it wasnt a big deal and that I could bring it by and get a new driver side mirror put in and a detail when I called they told me the mirror arrived so I went to get the detail done expecting to not have to go back again but when I arrived they said the mirror wasnt there and I would have to come back if I wanted it put on. On top of that they dont do anything special on the full detail it seemes like all they do is run it through a car wash and vacume out anything. I was very disappointed. They have wasted my time and gas.

I can only give one star as I am very disappointed with my expierience. I purchased a truck here and thought I had purchased a quality used vehicle. The check engine light came on 10 mins after leaving the dealership. Upon getting the check engine light checked out, it was also brought to my attention that I have an exhaust leak. The check engine light turned out to be the catalytic converter. I knew Titans had a history of exhaust manifold leaks when I test drove and even asked, the salesman told me the truck had been to the exhaust shop already to make sure it didnt have an exhaust leak. This dealership, obviously to me, cleared the check engine light just before I bought the truck and didnt fix the problem. I find it a very odd coincidence that the light came on 10 mins after I left. I took the truck back to the dealership and very politely asked the dealership to stand behind their sale and make my somewhat minor repairs. They would not stand behind anything and sent me away with a truck that I just bought that already needs repairs. They are absolutely within their rights, but I feel like they got me on this one... beware.

I went in yesterday to look at a tahoe and soon as I got there matt bass met me in the lot and was very helpful as far as helping me pick out one Im a first time car buyer and he took the time to to find me the best linder everyone I met at van York bargain cars were very helpful and not to mention good people they sure make you feel like part of the family, like a family owned business should be ran thanks matt for everything!
