These guys are very professional, kind, and truthful with their diagnosis on your damaged or broken TV sets!! After they had done a thorough diagnostic on my 2015, 55 Insignia TV that had lost its picture but still had sound, the technician let me know that my backlight had gone out on it, and that I would be putting more money into getting it repaired, than what the TV was really worth!! They didnt try to cheat me out of my money, and I really appreciate that, and will always keep these guys in mind if I ever have another TV problem!!

They did a phenomenal job with our home theater. They got units that havent worked in over 15 years to work again that couldnt be replaced!(our turn table for our vinyl records) Which we thought were long gone! and they weeded out all of the garbage wires and trash that we didnt need any longer. I am overjoyed to say the least, Excellent job in every aspect, the servicemen were very friendly, They took the extra time to take care of some other issues around our home that needed correcting. I didnt mean to write a million letter review but I wanted to share our experience with this local business and commend them because they certainly deserve it. A friend told me about these guys. They fixed My home surround sound system receiver and did it at a heck of a price. They ordered the parts for it since they didnt have and it took a few weeks for shipping but now everything works like a charm. Good in my book

In a nutshell without writing a book. We had two televisions go out and quit working around the same time plus our home speaker system quit as well with no sound on the upper and lower levels of our home. We also wanted a weatherproof television outside around our pool. We found this establishment on a website called Thumbtack and Instead of hiring multiple contractors we hit the jackpot with these guys! They came to our home and took care of every issue in a very efficient and affordable manner. We didnt have to go out and replace any of the tvs or the sound system. They got it all working and i mean all of it. Plus they did the electrical wiring and setup the tv on a protected line in our pool house which looks spectacular. We are very satisfied with these guys and highly recommend them and their work.

This particular location in Hickory NC is run by a gentleman named Jordan. Jordan was very polite and promptly assisted me. I will always use Advance TV Service for my home component needs. Im very disappointed on the service I recived at the Hickory Location, I dropped my T.V off September 4, 2020 and made my payment of 50 dollars and nobody has called me to tell me if my T.V was repairable or if it was broken. And even if it wasnt fixable they couldve called me so I could come and pick up my T.V... After this experience Ill never come back... And if anybody else is looking forward into bringing them youre T.Vs or anything else of that matter please beware!! This was the worst experience EVER...

Great people. Took a TV into be repaired. It was beyond saving. Told me about a used Samsung (better than the one I was trying to replace), that was on consignment. Offered to apply my service fee AND give me a credit on the power supply on my old TV.These people are honest, unlike many of the local shops. Will do all my Media needs business here from now on. I dare you to find a better shop or better people. Plus they are local and have great references. What more could you ask for?

Poor Professionalism for a business!!Had my TV repaired due to a lighting strike. He fixed it but the outside of the case was missing 12 screws. I took the TV back and he guaranteed I was not missing any screws now. I trusted him this time also, and just took TV home. Before setting it up, I checked the screws and was still missing 2 screws. I called him back and was told he had done all he could and was done with it!! Poor Professionalism for a business!! They tried to give me a 50$ voucher toward next repairs or a purchase, but I turned it down, knowing I would never do business with them again!! He also gave me 10$ for my gas, but my time and gas was worth 5 times that much! Excuses, excuses, and lies! The guy who worked on my TV was no longer there 1 day later! Was told parts take a week to get, next day called saying the mail had run and my part was in, made me think he used, used parts!!His response shows another lie. Was quoted price to fix on a Wednesday morning and on Thursday morning, they called saying the mail had run and my part had came in. Thats not 2 day shipping!! You had to do more than tighten the screws, you had to FIND some 1st as they were missing from my TV(your fault) and I am still missing 2 and you will not address that issue as you have done all you could and you are done with it.

Fast, friendly service. Dropped off my TV in the morning and came back to pick up in early afternoon. The repair was well explained to me and the price was reasonable, it saved me from having to buy another TV and was a fraction of the price to have repaired.

Service was good and courteous.The price however was much more then it should have been they had to replace a ballast and lamp on my television ran $1,082 they said the parts were very expensive after looking the parts up online found out they were roughly $100 for the parts.

The only choice in my opinion. These guys are spot on. They repaired our tv also mounted it on the wall and hooked us up with a sweet home entertainment sound system. Samsung customer service actually recommended us to these guys and they crushed it! Great work

I took TV in for repairs last week. Advanced TV Service ran a diagnostic on the TV. They called me back promptly after the diagnostic was done. The Tv was not worth repairing. They were honest about what to do next. I would definitely return back for any other electronic repairs

Paid $50.00 cash to get my plasma tv diagnosed, was told screen was bad cant be repaired. I googled the issue and found that its usually a defective board, found the board on eBay for$ 19.90, replaced it myself and TV and screen works fine now. Went back to bring up the misdiagnosis, was not offered a refund. A bit disappointingThe board that I replaced myself was not a jumper board, it was just a salvaged board from the same TV. My screen has been working fine and it does not appear to be a temporary repair its still working now.The fact is my issue was misdiagnosed and I got excuses and BS about my repair being temporary

Outstanding customer service. My 5 year old LG plasma TV lost sound but the video was still functioning normally. I called Advanced TV repair and they made a home visit that afternoon. Jay listened to the issues and told me what was typically the problem in that specific model. Jay was very knowledgeable about how my specific model worked. Since the repair was a basic fix, Jay told me what I needed to do and saved me the cost of a new TV. Jay also followed up with me several weeks later to make sure the TV was still working normally. If you are having issues with your TV, instead of immediately replacing it, call Advanced TV Repair and save yourself a lot of money.

Called Advanced TV Service & got same day service. They repaired my Sony DLP TV & installed a flat screen for us also. The technician was professional & friendly. Got the job done fast. Would recommend to anyone needing tv repair.

Dropped off a TV and was told theyd get back to me in 2-3 days. After a week and several calls (I called, they have never called me) they said they needed a few more days to diagnose the issue. Its been another week and Ive called multiple times over multiple days and havent been able to get a hold of anybody. No answering machine either. Hopefully theyll come thru and have a good explanation for the delay and very poor communication. Will update this review accordingly. For a company that claims to have been around for so long, its a wonder how!

These people know what they are doing! I brought my 55 inch LG Tv to another local repair shop, I wont say the name but they said my tv could not be fixed! They charged me 145$ just to check it out AND TELL ME IT COULDNT BE FIXED so I picked my tv back up and then I called and went to Advanced Tv on Springs Rd. And checked in my tv. They called me back about 2 hours later and knew exactly what the problem was and explained everything to me, they had the parts they needed in the shop to do the repair. I picked up my tv the same day I dropped it off REPAIRED!!! They were more than fair on the repair bill. Needless to say i will be watching the Super Bowl this weekend. THANK YOU ADVANCED TV!!
