If you are doing a new build or renovation, I strongly recommend you work with Jeff and Dawn at Studio 321. We were building a Timber Block Log home on Lake James in Morganton, NC. We were looking for the right contemporary style of tile to blend with our rustic cabin. Jeff and Dawn reviewed our house plans, cabinet colors, and granite. They then patiently worked with us, arriving at the perfect selections to complete floors and showers for 3 bathrooms, and kitchen backsplash. They are able to key-in on the style you are looking for, as well as introduce new ideas. We used a different installer. However, Jeff worked closely with our contractor, providing detailed instructions on best practice for installing the brand of tile we selected. They also have a wide selection, including some of the most beautiful, and exotic tile we have seen. They were patient, creative, and vested in seeing our project be a success. We were extremely pleased with our experience, and highly recommend them to anyone.

We were very discouraged with our remodeling project by the time we found 321 Tile. Had been to the big box stores and also specialty tile stores...were discouraged with the selection and needed help with our decision...Dawn was great. She was tactful and creative with a couple that did not always agree on the expected end result. Her suggestion tied in the floor/granite/cabinets wonderfully. Jeff and his crew were efficient and worked as scheduled with great results. Never plan on doing a kitchen again, but if we tackle the bathrooms we have the tile resource decision down!!

I am building a new home and have been looking for tile for the past 5 months. I have looked at the big box stores, online of course, and never gave Studio 321 a shot. I was of the opinion that a smaller tile store wouldnt have enough options for me. I was wrong! As soon as I walked in, the owner Jeff greeted me and truly took an interest in me. He asked all the right questions to get an idea of the style of the home, our price range, etc. Jeff then proceeds to walk over and pulls this porcelain marble off the shelf. He brings it over and says What do you think? and he described the tile to me in detail. He then proceeded to put additional details with the tile and within 30 minutes of walking in the store, I had my tile picked out for my Master and Guest Showers!All I can say is anyone that is building or remodeling a home knows that picking out tile is probably the hardest part of the project. I was so pleased with the ideas they gave me on how to make my home efficient and pretty...the truth was in the pudding when my friends paid me those complements!They also have their own installer Hartman Tile and Marble which always dealt with us in a very professional and trusting way. Studio 321 is the only place I would recommend to anyone needing help in creating a truly beautiful and personal space for your home or business. Dawn and Jeff are a pleasure to work and really know their stuff! As a designer, I lean on them to help me see my ideas become a reality...and they always have suggestions and ideas that even I hadnt thought of to truly make for a spectacular design. Their product is of the finest quality. Their installation is top notch. It is the only place in Western North Carolina I would recommend for high quality tile, countertops, and plumbing fixtures.

Ive used Studio 321 a few times. Love them!! I love how they helped me design a bath, kitchen, indoor laundry. I did not do them all at once. Not often can you use a company and be so satisfied.

Studio 321 and its owner is worthless, all the shiny showroom bling and the design talk falls through, when you decide to use Studio 321, all the promises written and verbal are worthless, none of the promised installation dates come true, they use subcontractors and do not return phone calls or answers questions. Thanks to them a closing on our house falls through, since they dont finish the job they should have finished and confirmed 5 weeks ago. Buyers be warned, this was an 3-5 day easy job on a new construction and the company screwed it completely up its is still not finished ! There is no excuse for this, Studio 321 and its owner should be ashamed of themselves and I can only hope my warning helps many other people or builders in and around Hickory to avoid the same misery that you are putting me and my family through ! WE GOT NOTHING BUT LIES FROM THIS COMPANY AND THE OWNER!UPDATE: I GUESS ONLINE FEEDBACK HELPS, HE FINALLY DECIDED TO SHOW UP AND FINISH HIS WORK. ONLY 2 MONTHS LATER THAN PROMISED.

Studio 321 came to our home to measure for our kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects. I called after two weeks to see when we would receive an estimate on the work. They said they would get back to me. Never happened, despite a second call from me. Very poor follow-up on the part of Studio 321.

June 22, 2015After working with Jeff at Studio 321, We finally get it. We have remodeled 4 homes each with new tiled bathrooms and showers. Unfortunately, we have experienced two water damaged claims, countless issues with grouting and overall disappoint in workmanship. Lesson learned, we should have used Studio 321! I first visited their showroom because they were the only authorized dealer of Walker Zanger Tile in the Hickory, NC area. In addition to Walker Zanger, Studio 321 carries an array of other tiles that you will never see in the big box stores. Jeff was a tremendous help in narrowing down the myriad of options available and had an impeccable eye for detail. He obtained numerous glass mosaic samples for me for items that I saw in store catalogs and provided multiple layout options. My contractor has his own tile layer, so I cant comment on Studio 321s installation services. But with Jeffs expertise, Im sure their work is meticulous.
