My experience with Porsche Hickory was 1 of the most pleasant in my life with the purchase of my first Porsche. The Sales Advisor, Bob Smith, General Manager, Caleb Pletcher, and Brett Huffman, Service Adviser, all worked with me through all aspects of the purchase and resolving any of my concerns. There were issues associated with my order, which were not due to anything attributed to Porsche Hickory that they helped manage to my satisfaction. I highly recommend visiting this dealership before finalizing a purchase with any other Porsche dealership in the area or elsewhere. We are all looking for the best deal, however, what is important to me is the dealerships support and customer service if needed. They are an organization that will stand with you.

I am truly bothered by the fact I purchased a vehicle from Porsche in Hickory. Although it was a used vehicle the alignment must have been off because less than 8 months of buying the car the tires were bald on the inside whereas I also purchased the wheel and tire package which was absolutely a waste of money due to the fact they wouldn’t honor their obligations because of tread depth. The finance department refused to give my money back and for three weeks I been giving the run around. Totally disappointed and they should stop offering a service if it’s not going to be upheld. It is sad Mr Parker said I would be receiving my money back but every time I call he is busy or out the office now. I have a major issue with trusting anything that’s been said from this dealership.

Had a great experience buying our new Cayenne from this dealership. They took the time to help us find what we needed, gave us a good trade in value, and made my family feel comfortable through the whole thing. Our experience with Porsche Hickory was excellent, start to finish. Our salesman, John Culp, was wonderful. He made the process simple and was a true delight to work with. Parker in F&I made the paperwork process simple as well. Communication was easy by phone and email. Once we arrived at the dealership everyone was welcoming and friendly. My wife and I recently purchased a used 2018 Porsche Boxster S from Porsche Hickory. We came in on a Wednesday to talk about a new Boxster, but found out a used one had just been turned into the dealership. We came back the following Thursday and closed the deal after the dealership gave us a little more on our trade. The deal they had offered us over the Internet was the deal they kept with exception of giving us more for our trade once we showed them that the trade-in was worth more. Our experience with Bob Smith at Porsche Hickory was excellent. He did try to pressure us into anything. He had outside contractors fix a few paint chips for us. That was all the Boxster needed. This is our first Porsche and first experience with Hickory Porshe and it has been a pleasant experience.

After experiencing several years of amazing service on our older model Cayenne, and driving their brand newPorche loaner vehicles while in the shop, I discovered the Panamera. While having previously owned a 912, Carrera-4 and Cayenne , I found the car of my dreams and the dealer who’s service is better than anywhere I’ve ever taken my cars . Brent In Service and Patrick In sales are both excellent !

Dealer installed a $4K Porsche Sport Exhaust (the OE PSE). Five year later, I noticed the exhaust leaks at the tig weld seams. Yeah, the carbon is ugly, but the carbon monoxide could be a health hazard. I contacted service twice about the defect and was ignored. I missed the warning signs. Dont make the same mistake I did..Update- so, apparently the way they make things right is by copying and pasting the warranty out of the owners manual. Here are some pictures to support my review.

Before I bought anything I would visit the dealership numerous times just to look, the staff always greeted me with professionalism and kindness. staff would talk about Porche answering any questions i had and letting me open/sit in any car on lot. This led me to buying my current CPO 2014 Cayman which i bought in April 2017, staff has continued to be outstanding and also service my Porsche with the same greatness as the sales staff.

Our service price went in this order $700, $468, $540. How can you build trust when you do sketchy things like this. It’s bad enough I’ve only ever received one response back after speaking with sales about looking for a specific vehicle. That response was to check my interest in a car that was newer and $40k over the budget discussed.When I worked in Winston and Charlotte all service was done at dealerships in those cities. My wife works in Hickory and pays the price for convenience by scheduling here.

Absolutely terrible buying experience across the board.Found the perfect car, 7.5 hours from my house. But I went after it because thats the one I wanted. After arriving, finance took three days because I brought my own money from BOA. They had to wait for a certified check to clear even though I was trading in a $80K car. Offered to secure the car on my Amex, the word no is all I heard. Scams dont involve people coming in with a trade. CFO looked over the deal and still made us wait until the BOA cashiers check cleared. They even called BOA and confirmed it was valid and we still had to camp out in a hotel for two nights. Add to that, the dealership didnt update the software (PCM/NAVIGATION/ECU Firmware) which is part of the CPO program, even asked them to double check. Then I had to point out the maps were out of date to service director. They failed to register me as the new owner with Porsche, they failed to activate my satellite radio free trial. They werent even aware that the CPO certification on my trade was transferable. This is not a personality issue with the staff members, they lack training and direction. This is a problem with ownership; Find another dealer, unbelievable incompetence and an incredible lack of attention to details! I can not believe this is a Porsche certified dealer. Even the windows were dirty on a $160K car, So pathetic!

Ive bought several higher end cars and throughout these transactions Ive experienced a level of arrogance that typically comes with buying one of these makes. I was certainly surprised when my spouse and I rolled onto the lot at Porsche of Hickory. Colton was very professional and took his time showing us several cars. The car I was interested in was a bit dirty and I wanted to see the car clean so I could check for nicks and dents. Colton took the car and washed it himself with his own money he never hesitated. Thats service you just dont get nowadays. Colton never pressured me to buy he simply answered all of my questions and there were a lot and allowed me to make a decision on my own time. When I purchased the car the dealership was completely full I had to wait a little to sign over the paperwork. Didnt matter as everyone kept updating me and didnt just stick me in a corner. Once I got to sign Ben was super nice and not hurried even though they had closed 2 hours prior. Top notch staff. I will certainly buy here again.

Butch (Jess) Walters works here. They are scammers that ran a business that sold salvage title vehicles without the knowledge of paying customers. Currently under investigation by the NC AGs office. Im surprised Paramount employees such people.
