Brian is awesome! I fried my power supply and possibly motherboard on an old and well loved PC while playing with circuit breakers at my home and was concerned I may have lost 15 years of photos and files I had not backed up properly. Brian was not only able to recover all of the files I was concerned about but also was able to transfer them to a new machine he had set up with Windows 10 and higher RAM, all for $100. The new machine he set up for me represented a massive upgrade from my old PC, and he took the time to set up all of my previous apps, programs and file structures. This is the 4th time Ive came to Brian to fix my messes over a 15 year period and as always has never let me down. Hes extremely thorough, fast and highly dedicated to client service. I wouldnt recommend any else for PC repair and/or upgrades!

If reviews matter to you then please read this one.Brian with CR Computers is without question the best computer tech in the Northern MN area and I would argue the area is probably far larger than just N MN. I moved up here a year ago and needed a MAJOR overhaul on my computer. I don’t know anything about computers and had no friends in the area, and am not near any big cities. I was concerned about quality of service over everything so I did thorough research on reviews. I couldn’t find anything negative about CR computers so I gave them a call and Brian was able to let me know he could probably help out. CR Computers was certainly not the closest shop but I could not be more thankful I chose them. The service I needed was a huge job and required the most advanced level of skills when it comes to computers, parts and installation. Brian was able to crank it out in just a few days AND did it for a cheap price! On top of that he is super nice and very personable. He ensured I saw how and knew how to operate my new systems before I left the shop which gave me extra reassurance. Looking back on it all, the value I got FAR exceeded the small price I had to pay. I wish I could say I’ve used Brian a ton ever since but I havent had to, since all of my systems have run perfectly!Please do yourself a favor and go to Brian for any and all of your computer needs. I promise he will not disappoint!

Brian, is the Best. Is of a gruff impression but his professionalism is with 5 star souloutions. Cuts throu the glimmer & sales B.S & gets to the root of the problem. Hes there to help and serve. The BEST.

My desktop crashed at the worst time (that is always the case). He rescued my precious data from the hard drive, advised me to get a laptop ASAP and he could get that set up for me with all the info from the crashed computer. He anticipated my needs for the new system, and gave me some training on my external hard drive. The price is very reasonable and I recommend him without reservation. He averted a disaster for me.
