I purchased a used engine for a Mack CV713. I gave the sales person my VIN number prior to ordering to ensure I received the correct engine. The sales person said I would receive a complete engine in running condition just as it was removed from the vehicle. The engine I received was nothing like what they described. It was missing components such as the starter, power steering pump, ECM, alternator, a/c compressor and dipstick. It also had a cracked bellhousing, cut wiring harness and no engine brake in the cylinder head. I have called them over a dozen times as well as sent emails and pictures and Juan Ramariz the owner has only lied to me telling he his sales people would never say anything like that he also said he would ship me out a new bell housing which never I received. These people do not stand behind what they sell, do not honor there warranty and do not ship the same product they describe on the phone. Totally dishonest and fraudulent business practices. I was told by the Haleigh Police department that I would have to hire a attorney and take them to small claims court to get my 7 grand back. Do not do business with these people they are total scumbags. If I could give them less stars I would.

They sold me a low hour used C13 Cat engine that turned out to be completely wore out. It had water & rust in the exhaust ports.The cam was completely wore out. the liners were scared and rusty.When I brought it to their attention, they informed me that my warranty was void because we opened up the engine after finding water in the exhaust ports. Ordered a Caterpillar 3406B at a reasonable price. Had an issue with the turbo which Juan was able to help correct. Busy company so sometimes hard to get ahold of him but Juan geniunely seems to care about his transactions and customers.

Never use them again they sold me a bad engine blowing oil all over wouldn’t reimburse me said it was my mechanics fault which is a lie sold me a used engine from a street sweeper in New York City and never told me where it came from. $16,000 in the hole investment parts and labor and had to sell the truck for $4500 -You sold us a bad engine and you know it . Ask Juan hell remember..You shipped it to Knoxville Tennessee as soon as they put it in the truck it was blowing oil all over the place couldnt even get it back to Pennsylvania. No mechanics could fix it because it was blowing so much oil. Had to junk the truck . Mercedes engine , straight truck . If you feel like making good on it let me know.

Sold my company an engine for $8,500. Didnt bother telling us that it didnt come with the computer the engine needs to work. We had to find one elsewhere and spend another $500 to be able to use the engine. Very hard to get a call back. Make sure you ask every question you can thing of!

Worst company I’ve ever worked with. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. They sold me a used engine for $11k. It needed a complete rebuild. Juan, the owner refused to do anything about it. Basically told me, “sorry you had a bad experience, that’s too bad.” I would never buy another engine from them under any circumstances.

This guys are highly recommended, we have over 300 pieces of equipment in our fleet here at Miami International Airport and purchase from them all the time. Not once we ever had a problem with any part, weather Engine, transmission, Etc. They are very knowledgeable and their prices are very competitive.

Have a fuel pump issue on a used motor. Juan seemed very concerned about correcting the issue although it is not a warranted part. After speaking with Juan I feel he will make it right. Deducting one star for the response from their salesman before Juan stepped in.

Would not recommend. Sent me a engine with a cracked head. Sent a replacement head and was told it was machined. Was not and had broken fuel injectors stuck in it. It’s cost me so much extra money at this point I could have bought a new engine. Run as fast away from these guys as possible. I’ve just about had to rebuild the engine they sent me to get my truck up and going.

The driver that was driving the truck complained that there was something wrong with the recently installed transmission it was making noises and it was difficult to shift gears. I decided to take transmission back within the 30 days and Mr. Juan received the transmission and said that he would send it off to be repaired. I returned several times to either get the repaired transmission or my money back but Mr. Juan refused to give me the transmission or refund me my money.In 2013, before I moved States, I stopped by Mr. Juan Pablos one last time. I waited my turn until he was done with the customers he was taking care of. When my turn came around Juan threatened to called Medley Police on me, he called the police and I waited outside until they showed up. I spoke to an officer and explained the situation, he suggested that I leave and find other means of making the claim because it was not the first occurrence.In conclusion, Juan never returned my money and kept the transmission.BEWARE BEWARE.

Paid a premium for a good, low mile replacement VT 365 International engine. Engine arrived nicely painted. After install we found EGR valve stuck and 1 broken injector.We used parts from engine core to get it going. Motor has more blowby than motor we replaced. 1 week later another bad injector.Many calls later and months of downtime, they finally sent me 2 used injectors with the connectors mangled. Slow, rude customer service. Would never buy anything from J.J. again.

DO NOT buy an engine from these people! They sold me an engine with a blown head gasket, a head that is cracked in 2 places and damaged liners!! The ecm reading was pulled showing the truck was never overheated at all which proves it was bought that way. They are refusing to send another engine , send head with gasket or liners or refund my money. Now Im out $20,000 for engine and labor and right back in the same position I was in the first place.Please run from these people you will lose your money!!!!Yes but I prove to you the head was cracked and head gasket blown via ecm reading you sold me the engine this condition I was at the mercy of the ship that couldnt fix it in that time frame but soon as it was running and found out I let you know and now you guys are ignoring my calls instead of talking to me like men! Horrible customer service! Answer my calls and lets figure this out like men instead of running from your problems!They told me take a picture of a heat tab the glue onto the engine that determines if the engine overheated but the caterpillar mechanic cannot find this mysterious tab. There service sucks! They steal they sold me a 2006 caterpillar c-15 engine assembly for $11,500.00. The engine ran for 2 months and NOW THEY WONT WARRANTY THERE WARRANTY

I have a dump truck and my engine died. I spent 2 weeks looking for the engine and I couldnt find it anywhere. The guys at JJ Rebuilders assisted me with the engine search and also assisted me with finding a mechanic for the installation. This was not done by anyone.
