The two dudes didn’t wear mask and were laughing and talking all the while I wore my mask and kept my distanced. Didn’t even try to be safe even if I wore a huge white mask. I don’t need them to take their anti mask sentiments out on me. Such disrespect and downright cruelty.

Has everything you need, even a parking lot for easy access. Has a great beer and hard seltzer selection and fresh in-house sandwiches.

Staff is very kind, yes a little suspicious of customers but totally normal for a small business. cant blame them. good selection of snacks and drinks, just overall great place to go if you need anything.

I dont know who that Asian woman behind the counter was, but she was very rude and allowed herself to raise her voice for no reason. I definitely do not recommend visiting this store if you do not want to spoil your vacation.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!I was overcharged so much on a gatorade, two candies, and sunscreen the total cost was $30. When I said I didn’t want the sunscreen they acted really annoyed and basically forced me to get it. They took advantage of me and other people that I’ve talked to about going there. The owners also kicked me out of the store for no reason even though I was a paying customer that had done nothing wrong. Their business tactics are so shady and I would not recommend going there it is a waste of money and they never give you a recipe or display the prices. So at the checkout it is basically a guessing game on the price.

Not really sure what’s with the low ratings. It’s your average everyday convenience store with some really cool drawings outside and some quick in and out parking. Only took to rating because of the murals. Glad they have stayed in tact though the years, and that the locals do not do any kind of enhancing of the artwork. They should have better deals and promotions here or at least more of them. #hermosabeach #wavescrashing

Took a photo of my friend walking in to the store when the two workers stormed out at me. I was on a public road taking a photo before proceeding to buy some beer into the store. The pair was making rude remarks. A very horrible experience just buying beer. Very rude people

This market charges $1 to use a credit card, which is illegal. Shady business practice to levy the credit card transaction fee on your customers. That is part of the cost of doing business.

Great service and the asian lady is very helpful and nice. we had an entire conversation over the counter.

Do not recommend at all. Manager was rude to me and my family for no reason and followed us around store and place barely had anything we expected.. We left and went to the 7 eleven nearby instead which was much nicer and cheaper..

Worst beach market in Hermosa, I asked for some quarters after I purchased some snacks, waters and coffee. They told me they could only give me 4 quarters, really? I spend 25+ dollars and you cant give me quarters to park in your neighborhood? She said if everyone asks for quarters we wont have any ... Well if you have a shop next to paid only parking that only takes quarters you might want to adjust your buiess strategy to accommodate for such requests. I came out to the other cashier that they have he wouldnt even respond to me. Great service Hermosa Beach!

I went last week and almost forgot this review!!! Not gonna let this one slide. Was willing to try a smaller business rather than other chains. Horrible experience manager was harassing myself and other customers wondering around the store. She acted like it was some high fashion clothing store... Get over yourself...

The cashier kept checking me out while I was shopping here and I felt very uncomfortable the entire time.

TRAVELERS AND TOURIST BEWARE Store manager/owner or whoever came outside after 20 seconds telling me to leave because she has customers trying to park I told her I’m going in to buy a beverage and still was telling me to leave. I smoked a ciggerette for literally a minute and a half and she bugged me three times walking in and out and took a picture of my car to get towed. I still went in and purchased a drink at a good price and gave her an unsubtle diss to her face for being so rude. There was one customer in store and SIX OTHER CARS parked so she really needs to get a new life and job and lick of common sense.. NEVER going back I don’t support or encourage ignorant people and there business. Read the reviews afterwords and all consistent with my experience. I work all over this great state of California and hands down worst experience at a simple market... and I’ve BEEN TO ALOT.

Carol and staff are very friendly. Lots of ready to eat food, necessities, beer, wine and liqour.

The asian Lady running the place is really rude! Stand and talk outside but when it comes to serve customer nobody is available she will also make sure that you are a customer of the shop before you dare parking on one of the 15 min parking spots.I hope she remenbers me because its the last time I shop there.
