Ill always give rural king 5 stars. The one in Henderson KY always has clearance or great buys. I shop there for boot socks often, and the pet food selection is big. Priced often less than Walmart. Im loyal to rural king so its unlikely that even on a bad day I would give a bad review. My last trip there a sweet cashier was stocking, stopped to check a price for me and then offered to go ahead and check me out if I was ready which is just great customer service! She is the daughter of a school teacher and precious as they come. I also LOVE that they are 100% equal opportunity. They have a few handicapped or disabled employees, all of which Ive interacted with and they are extremely helpful, and awesome employees.

From clothing to guns, groceries to small livestock this place is awesome.

I like the store, but on many occasions the items do not ring up what they have marked on the signs. You have to keep an eye on the register.

Worst customer service of any store Ive been to... I called twice the to check on the product I was looking for bc I was going to b driving over an hr to the store.... the first call I was on hold for 30 minutes I hung up called back to be put back on hold for an additional 15 mins... Never was allowed to handle customers like that when I worked there in high school...

Its a good clean place. Friendly employees, but depending on what your looking for sometimes have trouble finding it. Went in there looking for a lug stud and two guys wasnt even sure what I was referring too, but they were cool. Came straight out and told me that they have no idea really.

Didn’t have all the parts to install a new fuel pump for my transfer tank. I didn’t expect them to have it all, but the staff was very helpful in tracking the parts at another location.

Wide selection of anything and everything you may need as a rural home/property owner. Today I went for an automotive battery that cost just 60 dollars minus the battery I brought in for core exchange made it 48 dollars!! Autozone batteries START at $110.00. They also have every pet and livestock feed youll ever need also medicationfor said animals, wide selection of firearms- ( pistols, rifles, shotguns etc. Including ammo and accessories), common household food and drinks, tons of automotive fluids and parts, clothing, boots, and tractor parts and accessories. The only reason I did 4 stars and not 5 is because alot of the employees would rather huddle away from their register/check-out area to talk and gossip with fellow coworkers than help paying customers that are normally in a hurry to get to their livestock/pets to get them what they need quickly.

We bought a mini bike this day & the young lady working at the counter Thanked Us & told Us to have a Blessed day I dont usually hear that after thank you but it was definitely nice to hear, it made my day!

Delivered a load of wood shavings to this location. Receiver was very rude and was talking very poorly of me to management in office. She did not know I was standing there waiting for my copy of the invoice. I will be following up with Corporate Rural King over this issue. I dont know if this is normal, but Im a respectable person. How dare your employees treat me like I am not. If you need the name of the employee for a follow up I do have it.

Employee was very dismissive. I requested a lawnmower that was advertised on there website and was also advertised that it was in stock in there store to only be stone walled until I finally agreed to a higher price mower . But instead I just left...due to the customer treatment. I dont appreciate it at all

Staff very helpful in trying to find what I went for. Ive been different places similar to Rural King and you would be lucky to find anyone on the floor to even ask a question to.

I came to look at firearms but after they saw I had an out of state license they weren’t willing to show me any and said they wouldn’t sell guns or ammunition. My friend who was traveling with me, also with an out of state license, had just purchased ammunition there before me. A store is free to make up their own rules but the same rules should apply to everyone.

I love this place! They have everything I need and its usually significantly cheaper than other places. For example I needed 2 AN fittings for my fuel injection pressure gauge and at advanced they are $6 each, at rural king I got both with tax for less than $5!

I always try to make this my first stop but lately Im using this particular store less and less. This location is actually worse than Wal-Mart as far as the checkout lines go. The store is usually a mess as far as stocking goes. I dont know who is in charge of restocking but theyre doing a terrible job. Management must be poor here by the way MOST of the attitudes of the employees are. Not all of them, but most. A lot of the is always strewn all over (most likely from customers tho).This store could have some good potential,but my last trip there 10/31/20 the place looked like they were going out of business. Again, I blame poor management.

We were looking for something and we ask two young men working there and they had no ideal where it was. Finally after about 20 min. Looking for it we ran across an middle age man who took right to it.These two young men didnt seam to care. They need to be trained better. Have some knowledge of where everything is even if it is not in there area.Use to you could find someone that knew the area where everything was at.

This is an excellent place to visit. Going there is a wonderful experience. There are a lot of really great values. Ive been going to farm stores for 50 years. Its sad to see that they have to put up so many security cameras now to keep people from stealing . when it was just farmers you didnt have to worry about anybody stealing anything. Farmers have parents to teach in the difference between right and wrong. Stealing is wrong. All this stealing started when the non-farmer started showing up. I dont know whats happened to this country but it aint the right thing. When we stop spanking our kids is when all this stealing started. Theres no discipline. We have a bunch of Lily livered milk toasty and sissies who call himself psychologist saying all the things we shouldnt do to our kids so we start doing what they say and this is what you get from that. You either spank them or the police will. We aint that involved yet to where we can do that psychologist BS.
