Came in visiting family from texas. Looming for a ver particular item and natalie took the time to help me research and confirm the items i was looking for i wish there was more people like her in customer service

I went to the shop with my wife to get my fishing license. And because Im Brazilian, I dont speak English very well. and an employee came to help me and then laughed at me with other employees. because I didnt know how to speak the correct word. I felt humiliated, I went to the cashier, paid the license and then he said I couldnt take the license because of my address! I will never come back to this store!

Big 5 is a out door enthusiastic and sport store. They keep up on the seasonal sport items that people need. All kinds of exercise clothes and equipment. Hunting clothing and gear. Camping tents and equipment. The have a great shoe section which of course carries hiking shoes, boots, work books and sneakers. They have seasonal shoes for summer and winter. I go camping a lot so it is so convenant for me to have one to close to wear I live (they run sales all the time, they have a sale paper and you can see on line. They also post money off coupons often)

Helpful staff. Got what I needed. Item was on sale so that was nice.

Went here for a fishing license but there machine was down but the ladies there was very knowledgeable about everything and was able to direct me on how to do it online

They had everything I was looking for in propane stove and grill. All of staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Even pick up hiking shoes

Sales rep Henry was awesome while everyone else was on the phone or whatever Henry spotted me and actually helped out was able to provide information when asked and absolutely helped out didnt matter what it was he was there if Henry wasnt there this location would have no stars

03/15/2021 This place improved greatly with a new, more friendlier Store Manager. I often rely on the Assistant Managers Jamie and Eddie for help. Ill be visiting this place more often. Both Henry and Eddie were a great help with the footwear I needed.

Walked in no greeting, no asking if we needed help. They would just look at us, it was pretty awkward. They were sure helping other people. Husband asked for help because he needed gloves all the guy said was I dont think we have those he did not check or help in any sense. Maybe if we looked different we would have been helped. Check your customer service!!

Hello to everyone out there. Heres my tip...I moved to Henderson, NV three years ago. I dont live to far from this Big 5. In fact, this location is my go to place. Anything I need sports wise or even casual I can find it at Big 5Mr. JP

If you want to know if you look like a questionable character or with certain racial trait, come in this store and enjoy the presence of the Manager Greg as he follows you incessantly. Want to argue about a returns, hes your best man to fight about it. Practice your rights as a consumer while hes enforcing a policy thats OPTIONAL as he says its required and mandatory.

I am looking for a two person hard frame kayak.They didnt have one but they can order one.

Great price on several models of Bear Paws but they didnt have never wet on them so my neighbor picked that up in home depot. Decent collection of clothing but pricing was deceiving. They had old sale signs on merchandise so be careful. Service was awesome

I love this place because the staff is always very friendly and attentive and you can get stuff that you would normally get at a larger store without the hassle. they always have good coupons out there and they have a nice selection of clothing and shoes plus they sell guns which is cool, they dont sell handguns but shotguns. So yeah I recommend this place.

Helpful and friendly management and staff. Frequent sales on athletic shoes and other athletic and fitness and camping items. This was my 1st visit to this Henderson location. Most of the stores have the same basic layout so its usually easy to locate items no matter which location you use.

The store employees were so helpful in finding life vests for my family and myself. The clerk was very helpful and helped me try on many vests to determine the best fit.

Big 5 is a sporting goods store but they have the best prices and good quality of motorcycle riding boots we have found for both male and female. They sell just about every sporting goods you may need from kids to adults. There prices are reasonable and the quality of their products is good.

Shoe associate was very helpful to us. A star lost due to limited sizes on hand for wide width ladies walking & running shoes.

Big 5 has a good selection for many sports. The employees always greet customers as they enter the store. My only complaint is that the store is so overcrowded with merchandise its hard to move around.

Always finding something new at Big 5. Went in for some sneakers and the young gentleman working was on the ball. Didnt bat an eye after trying on a third pair. Knew his job and did it well. A welcome change from the almost nonexistant customer service in most stores these days.

I have been going to this big 5 for 7 or 8 years now and I have to say, as time goes on, managers come and go but it seems like the customer service gets worse and worse every year.... If you were to walk in there tomorrow, theres only 1 employee there thats halfway decent, a pretty blonde girl in her mid to late twenties.... Shes the only one who, on occasion, doesnt try to high pressure sales me or treat me like a theif.....

This store has the best customer service. Their cashier Vanessa was so helpful, she helped recommend some awesome gifts for my kids and the store has a good vibe.

Shoes were on sale for 29.99 and rang up original price of 54.99. I said something and she told me that some of their sale stuff has been doing that. Pay attention at the register especially for stuff that is on sale.
