Big 5 its been my to go place when I need something that has to do with sports or outdoor adventures. Very helpful staff and they actually take their time to take you where the item that you are looking for is or they will go find it for you and bring it to you. I always go to this place first when I need something.

Needed a backpack. Good selection in two different categories. Found the one I needed at a reasonable price.

I always enjoy coming here, but this time, I was a touch disappointed. Its not that the staff was unfriendly or anything. Theyre always good. I was just a touch disappointed in the selection of golf supplies, was all. I guess I should just go to a more specialized place instead of a general sporting goods outlet.

Quick stop for a first aid kit and a compass for hiking trip to the waterfall! Had exactly what I needed at a reasonable price! Friendly service in and out.

Ok I needed a bike tire a couple of other items,paid left only i later find out isnt the right thing, so I take it back only to be turned down at the store,management has some kind of hold on things ,bummer.

Managers are 1 of a kind here. Very customer oriented, a dying breed of retail. I appreciate this place and their workers very much

They have a sale in LA for a taser with pepper spray it was not on sale here in Hemet so the store was nice and clean the people were friendly thats all I can say.

Jeff the manager was helpful, he spent a lot of time explaining the different knee braces they had available. He was just so helpful!!

Great deals on shoes, & I purchased two rotary razors for $12.99 each. Easy access, helpful staff, & a clean location made this trip an easy one.

Would of been a four if the mask police didnt arrassed me about a mask. Reason being it being a four is cause because I needed a new triangle bar for my home gym, but their gym accessories are very, very limited.

Decent place to shop for sports equipment. I couldnt find body boards tho.

Cozy Sports Store that has a variety of sporting goods for all sports enthusiasts, and name brand athletic shoes at reasonable prices. Always have certain merchandise on sale or on clearance. Very good customer service.👍🏼👌🏼

Employees were a little rude and lazy one was on a personal call at the frontand told me one second while she repeatedly told that person I have to go Im at work I love u to Im at work then called to another employee to meet us to help us when there was another lady at the other cash register behind her checking her nails then ten mins later at the camping section a gentlemen helps us because there was no price tags on any of the tents so we left

Selection of products has gotten slim, and store employees & managers seem on the fence about what theyre more concerned about: customer service & satisfaction, or preventing the loss of their inventory by theft... We are far from ALL being thieves, people! Cant think of much else that is worse when it comes to a great shopping experience than wrongfully being treated like a thief. Instantly leaves me wanting to forever take my business elsewhere.

Always can find what I need here and get amazing help. I was in a hurry and the manager took one look at my face, jumped in to help and offered me a discount because he was low on stock for what I wanted, so it bumped me up to a more expensive product to get what I needed.

No problem getting followed around by several employees asking can I help you with/find anything!!!Then when I actually did need to find something ( which was hidden behind the gun/ knife counter) I was told you know what thats behind the counter you can go ask the manager and he will help you find it??????then top it all off I had to stand at the counter watching 2 workers discuss which knife they wanted to buy while I stood there being ignored being treated like shoplifters

Pretty decent service from our 2nd trip. 1st trip we had a lady helping at the gun counter, but she was rude and not very helpful. Almost accusing in her mannerisms. I think we may try a different location for our next purchase.

Love Big 5! Always a good deal, always good service. This location is clean and tidy, which I enjoy. From great shoes to cool guns I love it here. I do all my outdoor activities shopping here, couldnt dream of going anywhere else. Sometimes they dont have everything, but enough to get me there.

Its the closest big 5 to my house so that been said thats why I go to this one. I had coupons for some golf shorts. Long story short manager rude waited 20 min then she plays the idk card. Employees were kool trying to do their best

I have a major problem when trying to return a pair of sandals without a receipt. Bay insisted on giving me a store credit which I did not want because store credits always lead to Spending more money. The manager whose name I believe is Jack would not even come out in addressed the situation with me. A clerk was rude and snippy with me. I believe her name was Angelica. The good news is another clerk whose name was Catherine I believe Handle the situation of an upset customer with poise and professionalism . In the end I talk to corporate by phone and the situation was corrected . The corporate person was able to find my lost receipt in her computer in a matter of moments . This was something the store personnel said they could not do. My family will continue to Do business with big 5 only because of Catherine MD corporate person whose name I cannot remember. The store personnel in my opinion need to understand that beyond corporate policy good manners Professionalism and doing the right thing is Paramount.

Funny to say, they have a lot of products (fishing gear, baseball stuff, snow apparels, shoes, boots, mittens, gloves, caps, etc....) but couldnt find anything regarding NFL teams (jerseys, shirts, t-shirts, etc...) But they have great deals on other stuff if you need something.

My husband I went in to Big 5 today to buy some running shoes. I was approached by a very nice young man who asked if he could help me find something. I told him what I was looking for and he went to the back and brought out exactly what I needed in less than 5 minutes. My husband was still looking for what he wanted and I flagged Giovanni down and he helped my husband as well. Unfortunately they didnt have my husbands size in what he wanted because they were popular on sale items. He made 4 trips to the back and finally found one style my husband liked in his size. He was very helpful, friendly and patient. He is an asset to the staff at Big 5 Sporting Goods. Thank you Giovanni. Sorry if I spelled your name wrong.
