If I could do no stars I would. My husband and I went to this place to buy a truck. He had a 2006 Ram out there that my husband called several days before about... We drive out to look at the truck, then ended up buying it. The owner I forgot his name went on and on about how people wanting the truck. He (the owner) so called said ‘’oh I fixed it up and it’s a good running truck and this and that.’’ The truck was in bad shape we had to fix what he tried to fix.. but that’s not the bad part about it... The truck he sold us has a REBUILT title. Not once did he mention this to us, after all the calls he received from my husband. This should have been told to us from the beginning!!! A HORRIBLE WAY OF RUNNING A BUSINESS.

Theyre really nice over there I definitely would recommend someone that needs a good quality car from you know not a whole lot of money to come down there. the owner was very nice to me and he even helped me pull the car out because I couldnt figure out how I was going to get in and out of such a tight squeeze between all of the cars.

I drive by here all the time and its just a dirt lot with a whole bunch of junky looking cars. The owner says that theyre the neighbors vehicles parked all over the place but even the vehicles for Mercer have rebuilt titles as the owner told me. Nice guy just not real good quality vehicles in my opinion. I guess theyre okay if you just need something to get around in.

Bought many vehicles over time.last two vehicles we bought we got ripped off, I drove one for one week, its been sitting at the Ford dealership for 3 months waiting on an expensive part

Very friendly and informative. Bought my Jeep here 6 months ago and it’s running great. Only thing I’ve had to do to the vehicle is replace a few interior lights and change the oil...great customer service. Would definitely recommend to others

I wouldn’t suggest anyone do business with Mercer Motors. I went to buy a vehicle with Gerald... first of all, he is not a very friendly or approachable person to be a salesman. He never seemed like he was interested in selling anything. He never gave me any information or details on the vehicle, I researched everything myself. I know he bought the vehicle for cheap at an auction and halfway fixed it up. I still decided to buy it because he was selling it for a good price and I knew someone that could fix everything he did not for a good price. I called him, made an offer, he agreed to it, so I went and got approved for a loan with the bank. The bank requested that he send a bill of sale along with the front and back of the title and they explained that they would handle all of the title work. He sent that but did not fill out the back of the title so I had to call and explain they needed it filled out with them as lien holder. He did not want to do this and complained that dealing with banks is too much trouble, so I had him contact the bank to discuss. They understood and said well if you will just add us as lien holder On the back of the title that will be fine, you don’t have to fill out the reassignment yet. He then called the bank back later and left a message saying he sold the car to someone else. He did not even have the common decency to contact me and let me know. I had gone to so much trouble to get the loan approval which pulled my credit, the vehicle in my insurance, went and got an official check for the down payment and everything. I was literally ready and waiting on him so I could close on the loan. All he had to do was send them a copy of the title with them as lien holder and he complained that they were asking of too much. Like I said, he couldn’t even call me and give me a heads up. This was lazy, unprofessional and just down right wrong.

In and out in half and hour. Owner is great, handed us the keys and told us we could do what we wanted to see if we liked it. Got a sweet deal too!

No sales pressure. If youre used to a traditional car buying experience, be ready for a shock. The lot is gravel and grass next to a big garage. Prices are already low, usually, and customer service is outstanding.

Bought multiple cars(3)from Mercer Motors. Had no problem driving them. My current Honda Accord is from here. Excellent experiences overall.

I hope to take legal action against this sales men now that Ive read and found a loophole in his warenty disclaimer!! He is a con man not only did he like about the car being registered in state but did not tell us that because of where up north its from the snow and salt rusted the roters to the brakes and bolts and suspension. It cost about the same to fix it as it did to buy it and I hope to take him out of business. Conman is all he is. Nice to your face snake in the grass. See you in court buddy.

Pics look much better than reality. Funny sound in motor. Engine light on, told it was nothing. No come down on price. Just kinda lackadaisical. Not impressed.

If i could give this place ZERO stars i would,hes a con man, make sure you check the drivers door frame for a Alabama rebuilt sticker, most of the cars and trucks i looked at had rebuilt titles, that means they have ben wrecked and fixed with salvaged parts, i asked him about 1 truck if it had been wrecked,underwater,or beat up, he said no, then i seen the sticker, HE FLAT DOWN RIGHT LIED, that was about the only words i got out of him, i wrote down the vin,checked it at the court house, they ran it, that truck was under water and stuffed with mud,smashed up front end, he wouldnt tell e that at all even when i asked him, so, make darn sure you check the car.truck out good, run the vin if have any dought, later i asked afew people about him, 1 bought a truck from him , he didnt check it , found out it had a rebuilt title, was wrecked in the front end, that truck lasted almost 6 months , engine went out, seems there was a crack in the front of the block with jb weld on it,

Went by yesterday to look at a car , and the guy was VERY UNFRIENDLY (we think its because we are black). My husband went inside to get the key , instead of handing him the key he unlocked the car with the keyless entry , then my husband asked to start it up, thats when he placed the key in his hand. My husband got in started the car and the guy still hasnt said a word the car was rattling as my husband shift the gears, the salesman stood there sucking on a straw drinking a beverage. Finally my husband handed him the keys back and he then said ok. Up until then I thought he couldnt speak , and what is hilarious he had on a church if the highlands t-shirt. He was representing Christ and being ignorant. Needless to say they didnt get a sale from us. We both said if the engine purred like a kitten we still wouldnt have spent any money there.
