Not only can this place do excellent work on unmodified cars. They arent afraid to work on your highly prized modified luxury or exotic vehicle.Every time Ive been here the waiting area is clean. Ive peaked in the back and the back is clean. This shop is the real deal and has been in business for well over 15 years.People come in and people go out all day long. Car after car completed with excellent service and precise attention to detail.SO. If you have a luxury or exotic vehicle I highly recommend this shop. Not only will you be happy with the work that was done. The prices are more than reasonable.One thing to note. This place can be selective on taking business. Now dont take this the wrong way. They choose the jobs they have the time for. I had to wait a few months before they had the time to work on my single turbo fully custom 335. And it was totally understandable. Taking on a project like that is a big deal.Give this place a shot and you wont be disappointed!

Absolutely outstanding service. I live in Irvine and my BMW broke down on a trip to LA on the 405 on a Saturday morning. I had no idea where I was and figured I would have to find some half decent Auto body in the area to look at my car. Luckily South Bay Autohaus was half a mile away so I had my car towed there. Even though they were extremely busy, were due to close in 3 hours and wouldnt open back up into Monday morning Qais figured out the issue was a faulty spark plug that afternoon and had me back with my car the next day. He did not have to stay late to do that but he did. Honestly the best experience Ive ever had with a mechanic and completely by chance.

Qais is one of the most honest mechanics Ive ever met and he doesnt take advantage of his customers lack of auto repair knowledge.

Lets start off by saying you dont need to go to any other place. Qais know what the hell hes doing! If own a luxury or exotic car or even a normal daily driver Qais will get the job done. Look people Qais is a high profile shop YES HES BUSY! Look forward to leaving your car in good hands there for a week or so if its major work. I have been getting all my vehicles serviced by South Bay auto for almost a decade, prices are fair this is not like taking your car into the dealership! He does not BS you he says it as it is. Ive serviced my motor my transmission, our supercharged fully built track cars our turbos cars and even a Maserati at point. Im telling you theres no other place.

I became a customer of Southbay Autohaus through a referral by my warranty company’s preferred auto repair shop. The repair shop never worked on a BMW M6 before, so they told me to take it to Qais since his shop specializes in German cars. Qais and his team helped me fix my car by dealing with my very difficult extended warranty company. After fixing my first issue, I decided to take my car to him again for a different problem. Once again, Qais and his team immediately started the process to get my issue diagnosed and authorized through warranty. I’m very happy with the service I was provided, even though I had to drive there from Glendale. If and when I have another issue, I will definitely take my car to Southbay Autohaus, whether or not it’s a warranty covered issue.
