It was very disappointing made me feel like they didnt have time to listen to what Im telling them that happened to my car

My son and husband were recommended to this place because of a possible transmission problem with my sons car. Alex hooked up the car to a machine, printed out a report and then turned to my husband and son and said Its not the transmission, but if you want to know what the problem is, you have to pay me $100.00 . Mind you, the shop that referred them there had said that he wont charge you to diagnose the problem, (they have a working relationship), and once there there was never any discussion of a fee PRIOR to diagnosing the car. He was very shady and rude about the whole thing that when asked, Well what is it then? Cant you just tell me? he said, No, if you want the paper you have to pay me $100.00. Fortunately he was right, it wasnt the transmission and they found a spot to fix my sons car.

After speaking to Alex about my issues , and they were addressed ! I was asked to remove my first post about KC quality transmission and the owner Alex .... after giving it much thought ! I decided to change my post, even though we had a disagreement ! his shop does excellent work and I never had a problem with the workmanship and the service that was performed on my vehicle, and yes I would recommend this shop to a family member or friend with a transmission problems , as I said , the work was excellent , JUST MAKE SURE TO HAVE A UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORK BEING DONE BEFORE ITS BEING DONE ! ALSO ! DONT NEVER SIGN A RECEIPT WITHOUT READING IT FIRST ! Thanks to K C transmission and Alex for a great job on my baby ! LEXUS LS 460L ! 😎✌🏽🚘

Excellent service

I was recommended this auto transmission shop from another mechanic in Hawthorne. I was very satisfied with the work. I dealt with the owner Alex and he was fantastic. He explained everything to me (and i dont know anything about transmissions) but he broke it down very easily. The price was great and they did a really good job. Thank you Alex and your team.

Quality work performed by Alex and staff. Highly recommended. I already tried 2 transmission rebuilding shops in Hawthorne CA before finally going to KC Quality Transmissions. I got a great price and it got done in a reasonable amount of time. Its been over a year since the work was performed and the transmission on my Honda is going strong.

I had to replace my transmission on my BMW 330i 3 months ago and I took it to Alex. My friend recommended me his place and so when I went in, I had a good reference and an idea of the shop. I was pleasantly surprised with the work that he and his guys did. I paid a fair price for rebuilding my transmission. I live in Burbank so driving to Hawthorne was a stretch but well worth it.

Went in for service on my transmission after him hooking up a code reader I was told I needed a new transmission without putting any hand on the car and that it was going to cost $5000 not trusting what he said I took my car to another mechanic just to find out all the car needed was 2 quarts of transmission fluid
