The line was not long at all I went in to buy a couple of masks and then I got out of there under 5 minutes and I got some Halloween candy . Happy October..

Waited in line for excessive amount of time. Then clerk had to call manager and made me go thru line again.

Almost any theme youre looking for can be found here. They have tons of clearance items and the prices are extremely competitive. I drive there from Laurel to get supplies for my parties and other events.

Real nice a lot of variety. One thing I noticed that made me feel uncomfortable was all the Trump items. I felt that was bias and a company shouldnt display their political views on that matter.If anything have both candidates or be neutral. This real deteriorated me from doing business in the future or recommending.Update: customer service really needs to be evaluated. I rate it one star now. I never have a good experience here.

In and out super nice ladies. Had exactly what we needed for Dr. suess week. Wish they had more than thing 1 & 2 or cat n hat but otherwise fun place.

Ok but not a party city

As you might guess it’s super busy this time of year. Mostly with patents searching for outfits for their children. I give the store credit... when I went In Saturday, it was a mad house. With all the foot traffic, you would think the store would have been a wreck but it wasn’t badI like that they anticipated the lines and kept that part as organized as they could as well. Clearly past experience paid off with that area.I will say, as busy as it was, it would have been nice if the cashier at least spoke. Otherwise not bad.

This store has just about everything. They have a great selection of costumes. I was able to find a Mrs Santa Claus costume a week into December! Very well stocked store.

Cashier did nothing to help you..they stood and talked with each others!!!

I am usually in awe of the wide range selection here. I was hosting a baby shower however, and they had almost nothing! Only 1 or 2 themed supplies but no generic baby girl shower supplies... interesting

Called the store in Hattiesburg to ask about a certain costume. They would not check to see if it was in stock. I live over an hour away. Sorry I won’t be doing business there. And it’s hard to view them online.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the store has a massive selection of costumes and themed party supplies, and while not super-cheap, the prices were reasonable. I went with some apprehension because of the poor reviews I had seen online, but was very pleasantly surprised. I found a good costume only a few days before Halloween, and am very pleased. Recommended.

So many options and choices! Great selections for any occassions.

Purchased a gender reveal balloon for $10, was told that it would cost an additional fee of $20 to get it blown up. This is just ridiculous. I feel like if you purchased the balloons, they should fill them for a small fee or nothing at all.

If you need a party supply they will have it, in any color. Fun place to browse and get ideas.

This place has everything! And I mean everything! If you are looking for party supplies or weird costume supplies , this is your place! It’s easy to get lost in there, so ask them to point you toward what you need or you’ll get sidetracked by interesting stuff!

Wide selection with so much more than just party favors, with competitive prices (especially here in Hattiesburg) and a pretty okay staff.

Went there to get balloons. Was looking for a certain kind. Two women on the other end of the registers were in their own conversation. Paid me no attention. I asked the person at the first register a question. She never looked up once only pointed. Wow hope they dont make another dime. Took my business somewhere else.

Does not have as much of a variety as seen on commercials. I had a galaxy party recently and went there to get some themed supplies, they did not have one thing that was even remotely close to what I was looking for. Also they are a bit pricey considering how cheaply made everything is.

Not very helpful staff had to walk around forever

This was the absolute worst experience Ive ever had in a public place. My one year old had her foot on a shelf, and was immediately approached with a rude employee. I will pay more money to go somewhere else! If you dont like your job, please find one where you can at least be a decent and pleasant person!

I went a few days ago and although the cashier who rang me up was nice, it just seemed as if both of them were anxious to find an excuse away from ringing up customers. They have a lot of selection when it comes to cups, Napkins, etc, but they didnt have some of the more currently popular kids themes, which was disappointing as I was sure the ultimate party store would have it. They also didnt have simple trick candles, (candles that keep relighting) which was my main reason for stopping there, I was sure a store that calls themselves ULTIMTAE PARTY STORE would have something as basic as those. I can assure you though, you will find a variety of childrens toys and costumes for any age, and any shade of napkin you can imagine, for 3 times the cost youll pay at any other chain in the area.

Just left this place, since when do I have to have a 24 hour notice to get some freaking balloons blown up because its around Halloween?! Per a fake policy that is written on the door! No one is using the helium to blow any balloons up... so its not like it was a line. I was the only one that asked for balloons. Waited in like for 15+ minutes. Bet if I was of a different ethnicity they would of did it🖕🏽

It is EXTREMELY rare for me to write a negative review of a business/restaurant/hotel... mainly because negative press sticks out so much more than positive and I just believe everyone should be given the benefit of the doubt and/or allowed a “bad day,” a “bad meal,” or even just a “bad mood”But.Today was the end of my patience with Ultimate Party in Hattiesburg. Time and time and time again I have been in and left feeling so irritated at how unbelievably RUDE the employees are. And this is NOT a new problem. Years ago the store was located closer to USM and even back then, the same was true.The employees are ALWAYS rude. It’s so sad. But it’s so true. They act mad at the world. They act irritated if you ask questions or for assistance. It’s just the truth.I have read positive reviews and I suppose there must be a few happy people who work there... but in all my years of visiting the store, I’ve certainly never encountered one.The reason why this is true is blatantly apparent. They are the only true party store in the Hattiesburg area and they know it. They don’t HAVE to be nice because they know people have no choice but to come in.If this were my business, I would be embarrassed and ashamed but also willing to MAKE WHATEVER CHANGES ARE NECESSARY to provide decent customer service.Shame on the management for never making changes to remedy a LONG-TERM, ON-GOING problem. It doesn’t take ANY energy to be nice. Ive shopped there before because of a desperate need for a costume. The prices are high, but I was out of options and they have plenty to choose from. The staff was rude and too busy with themselves to bother helping customers. Now, they still have lots of selection, but the staff is very rude. They also ask to search your purse BEFORE you go in. This is a great neighborhood, why search BEFORE going in the store? I understand looking on the way out to make sure kids arent stealing, but to ask a grown woman to allow you to search her purse before entering your store is ridiculous. Who does that? Bad business.

Just had an experience at this location customer service cashier very rude attitude...she didnt want to service me. overpriced balloons 1.99 each to be blown up and then get an attitude because you question and why its so expensive for one balloon and a price of 1.99 to walk away with an attitude never shopping there again...

Will NOT answer the phone. Ive been trying to call for 3 days, multiple times a day with no answer!

We had to find a last second Halloween outfit for an office party...we were overwhelmed with a HUGE selection!!! We will be back EARLY before next Halloween to get ready for it all!!!

This place is over priced and the associates are very rude. I ordered and prepaid for balloons. I went to pick them up and they had lost the order. Even though I had my receipt, they refused to honor the order.

Best prices in Hattiesburg for good party supply. Anyone saying otherwise wants Walmart prices, but with Walmart prices comes Walmart quality, my friend. Its the only real party supply store in the area so without doing Walmart/Target or even Spencers, it is cheaper for the quality you get. I have NEVER had them search my purse. The employees arent overly helpful, I mean, you have to ask for help usually (which I guess some people dont like, ACTUALLY ASKING), but they are very helpful once you ask. Always a pleasant shopping experience that doesnt break the bank!
