Delivery is just fine and I appreciate it and the always courteous drivers. My frustration is with the billing system. I receive fuel assistance but am billed after each delivery with a return envelope as if I should pay the bill. The credit balance is not listed anywhere, just the bill for the last delivery. This doesn’t make any sense to me and every year I end up calling them to be sure I don’t owe them anything.

Be very careful with respect to their Price Protection Program. I have been a customer for over 30 years but am considering leaving for a more honest company. They stated to me that their Price Protection Program, for which I paid a fee, covered the period from contract signing in Sept. thru June 30th. What they dont tell you is that oil you consume from approximately March 30 thru June 30th (and delivered a even a day after 6/30) is NOT covered by the plan and you have to pay the higher price on all the oil (if it is higher). They do not advise you of this and make it appear in their communication that any oil you use thru June 30th is price protected. It is NOT and this makes the plan less valuable (or more expensive than presented). When I called them about this , they said thats they way it is....you pay the higher price, even though they say you were price protected. They also said they have been doing it for years as if that made it O.K. to keep doing the wrong thing for their customers.Really a bad business practice to not disclose this information particularly where Cape Cod Oil benefits financially from the issue.The Cape Discount Fuel Co. response is completely predictable. Once again, they hide behind minutia and fail to tell you that they have no definition of automatic delivery which allows Cape Discount to schedule a delivery in such a way as to box the customer into paying the higher price (even though they paid for price protection). When I called to discuss the matter, the representative was extraordinarily rude and of course conveniently neglected to point out this issue.Buyer beware!!!

Weve been customers for over 15 years. I have to admit that I was a little disturbed about some apparent oil problems with Peterson Fuel but the Cape Discount folks are top notch!

I called on Thursday nights for delivery I was told wont come until Monday I called and asked if it could be delivered sooner I got the riot act from the employee then when I asked for the manager she was even more rude than the original person I highly recommend you stay away from these people they tried to charge you extra fees when it really shouldnt be accounted for. I called East ham discount oil what a difference they even signed me up with a program to save $.30 a gallon highly recommend it

I have been with Cape Discount Fuel for over 20 years, recently had my fuel tank replaced and they were a great help referring to Nauset Burner for the installation. They filled the tank up during the install and made the project stress free!
