I just want to express how happy I am with with the Ray Brandt Volkeswagen Service Team! Devin and Amanda are always the friendly faces I see when I need my car serviced. They are prompt, respectful of my time and so easy to talk to. And my mechanic Harvey is nothing short of amazing! That man knows his job! He always takes the time to talk to me after the work is done so I understand what was going on, how it was remedied, and give super helpful tips. Communication is a BIG thing for me, so I am thankful for their transparency and the relationship I have developed with these guys.

I think that there is excellent service here and had always had really great experience. However, this time when I picked up my vehicle the oil change alert had not been turned off, which I totally understand. However, I have there was light out icon and that was not fixed (I understand that I would pay for the light) and the tire pressure icon is on. Tire rotation was part of the service that I scheduled and paid for, so assumed that the tire pressure would be checked and corrected if needed.Dont get me wrong, I really like the service I have received with your dealership in the past, this time it was just not what I have become accustomed to.

I have no idea how this dealership is to actually complete a purchase with but I can say that they routinely post false, low ball prices on AutoTrader. When you contact them the price suddenly jumps and they claim that they cant control what the price is on AutoTrader. Its one thing to deceive with unrealistic prices in your advertisements but its another thing to lie about not being able to control what those prices are online. Of course you can control them, youre the ones running the ads. I finally got tired of contacting them about pricing on things I saw online and decided to use the rest of my time to share my thoughts here. Makes me wonder what else they deceive their customers about during the sales process.

Aaron Kenner was an amazing sales associate!I wish management and financing were as pleasant. Due to their overbearing nature, I decided to purchase elsewhere. They literally tried to force me to use VW financing after I made it clear that was not what I wanted. Dont be fooled by the 0% financing. They increase the price of the vehicle to make up the cost. The vehicle I purchased was more expensive than the VW I was interested in, but I paid less for it than the out the door price VW quoted (with 0% financing).

Had an overall good experience with Ray Brandt. I was shopping online through CarFax (which I highly recommend) and found just what I was looking for (2017 Chevy Tahoe) at their dealership. The process drug out a bit because of a wedding, Thanksgiving and a positive Covid test but they hung in with me. My salesman, Malcolm Bridges, couldnt have been any easier to work with...many thanks to him. Had a bit of trouble getting their finance people to get the sales tax right on the Buyers Order (company vehicle that was to be registered in AL) but we worked that out. Only real complaint was them forcing me to show proof of insurance for a company vehicle that I had just paid cash for before they would let me leave with it. It was fully covered under my company insurance and still not sure why it was any of their business if I had insurance or not. My company finance manager pulled a rabbit out of a hat and got it added to our policy and an ID card emailed to me at the dealership so I could leave. Had I not had so much time and energy invested in the deal, I probably would have walked away as I was so annoyed. Got caught in awful NOLA traffic trying to get home because they held me up. Love my truck and my salesman....experience was a bit trying....

NEVER trust the salesman when he promises something to you orally. They always try to convince you to purchase a car with some benefits.such as:Free maintenance(including oil change,wheel rotation...)but they actually never put it in the record. They will still charge you when you come for service. Basically it is a lie. Wont come back again anymore.

The car is nice for starters you got only one star because the car was not thoroughly cleaned out from the pevious person that own the vehicle because after getting home and checking the car out I found drug paraphernalia in side the car and that did not sit too well with me because if i would have been stop by the cops that would have been END of story for me.in the future we need to be more careful before you let a customer into a car such as the that I purchased

I can’t say enough good things about this dealership! I had a great experience leasing a vehicle through them. Mark Maher and manager Victor DAmico were delightful. Not only received outstanding customer service from both of them and a great deal, but they worked with our budget, answered every question I had and made me feel very confident in the choices I made. To Whom it may concern,I want to apologize for the previous review I gave and have since taken it down. It was not fair of me to generalize the entire staff at VW Ray Brandt. However, it does not take a financial adviser to see some inconsistencies in the operations and management. The Service Department notably Ms. Amanda and Mr. Lombardino convinced me to stay a loyal customer of VW as my family has bought 3 of our vehicles from Ray Brandt VW. In fact, after my experience with sales, it was only Mr. Lombardino that called me to see if there was anything he could do to remedy the way I was treated. It is clear this man and his staff are professional, courteous, and respectful. They provide good lessons on how a department should manage itself within a business enterprise. As far as the sales department, they were some of the nicest people....before I bought my vehicle. The vehicle I bought (Passat 2020) has needed 2 repairs and it is under 1400 miles. Mr. James looked neither interested nor concerned in my complaint, neither did the man who sold me my car. In fact, Mr. James response to my complaint was “Yeah I saw you and your pops review”. As far as short term gains, I am not sure of the viability of a manager like Mr. James. As far as long term gains, Mr. James provides excellent lessons to any future business owner on what to avoid when looking for a professional and efficient manager. This is one of the few reviews I have written and Mr. James conduct, at its very best, immature, certainly merits a review. No one should be terminated for one mistake or several mistakes, but I think Mr. James’ attitude deserves serious reconsideration on whether he can handle all the responsibilities afforded to him. So does the honest and professional work of Mr. Lombardino. Thanks to his effort and attention, I will retain customer loyalty to VW and Ray Brandt. However, it does not take too many stories like mine to turn the tide for a business, and I truly wish the Ray Brandt team good luck in moving forward to protect both customers and employees.

Had my 2019 VW Atlas serviced 2nd week of August 2020. Low coolant light came on a week later. With a hurricane approaching the last week of August I went to Walker VW to have coolant “topped off” in case I had to evacuate because I work in Metairie. When Walker opened my hood my coolant was extremely low, like 2 inches below the fill line and had a lime green substance in coolant tank. So when Ray Brandt documented they did an inspection along with my oil change, they obviously lied. It cost me $175 out of pocket to resolve the “mystery substance” and have coolant flushed. Also addressed a start stop issue at Ray Brandt causing my car to kill while engine is running, I was told it was because of the high temperatures outside??? It shouldn’t matter if it’s 150 degrees outside, a brand new car shouldn’t kill. Turns out it was actually caused by a faulty charcoal canister that was bad, and ultimately fixed by Walker VW. Addressed these issues with GM James and he denied fault and refused to reimburse me for any out of pocket expenses. I will never have my truck serviced at Ray Brandt VW in the future. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I think the mechanics need some more training to be able to repair vehicles correctly.

The lady who checked me out was nice. I brought my car in for service, and they performed the oil change. It went well until my car battery died the same week. They didnt do the full multipoint inspection like they said, otherwise this could have been avoided. I got stranded and missed a day of work. Someone got lazy and checked my tires, but didnt bother checking anything else. Then when I went to leave the technician had a car parked in front of where I was supposed to drive and motioned for me to back up and find another way out. He was so rude after I didnt approve the suggested work. The sales lady was nice, but his will be my last vehicle from any Ray Brandt because the service was absolutely unacceptable. They didnt even wash or vaccum my car OR UPDATE ME ON THE NEW POLICY. Also, I worked for another dealership and was patient, so I was shocked at the service.

My wife is very specific when it comes to what vehicle she wants so the search was far and wide. We found the Atlas she wanted at Ray Brandt Volkswagen and even though it was a bit of a trip we decided to give it a try. Just moved to New Orleans and needed to establish a place to bring my car for its regular maintenance. Despite COVID times, they were able to get me scheduled for my 40k mile service within a week, they were completely professional, and didnt kick me out while I waited for my service to be completed. Only criticism Ill add is that the air pressure in my tires werent adjusted after being rotated. Fronts take different pressure than the rears and my TPMS alerted me of this a day later. No deduction of stars for that. I will keep bringing my VW here as long as I have it.

Horrible costume service. I left my car there for 3 week just to get some light work done like my key. 3 weeks later they called 1 hour before they close at 4:30. Brought my car there. There was terrible communication from the get go. They charged me $1700 to fix a leak in the power steering and replace the pump. We tried to ask about the work that had been done when we picked up the car and the employees laughed in our face. Three weeks later we realized that the coolant hoses were loose and spraying coolant. All of a sudden all pads and routers go completely bad. Less then a month after getting the car back. I feel like we’ve been completely screwed over and $1700 later we have way more problems than we started with.

Our Sales Consultant, Kim, was so nice and honest about what he thought we would benefit most especially with a baby on the way. For a first time car buyers, they let me walk off the lots twice with a car without getting approved for all most4 months with both cars back to back after they took one n got me another one .one of the sales manager or supervisor Michael Vincent is very rude he was screaming at me because I didn’t wanna sign the check because it wasn’t all my money back like he told me I was going to get back when I bring the car back .I had to call the police to get all my money back . I really wish I can give them a -0 . Never will I get a car from them or send somebody to them for a car. I got a lawyer looking into this and I also record all my call and kept my threaten text messages he kept sending me and all my paperwork for both cars .I don’t know why I went back the second time after the first time I was so stress out and had a bad headache from the crying and depression they put me though and took my car today I had to go see my doctor because they stress me out and made my pressure went up high she try to see me to the emergency room today and I gotta go back to her tomorrow so she can check my pressure again and if it’s high again she said I’m have to go to the hospital for my baby safety.I’m still here I’m also 5 month pregnant.This place lacks professionalism, organization leadership and integrity.

I spoke with Mike about a 2013 Jetta Hybrid and told him I’d drive 1.5 hrs to see it. It wasn’t until I got there that Mauricio (manager) decided to tell me they have not been able to locate the vehicle keys for 3 DAYS! A fact which could have been useful in knowing before I drove there. This place lacks professionalism, organization leadership and integrity. I did not feel Mauricio even felt a bit of remorse whatsoever. Customer service? Not so much.

My car broke down while I was out of town and the service team at Ray Brandt Volkswagen went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Amanda was amazing! How do i even begin? Ray Brandt Volkswagen went above and beyond.I didnt know better at the time , but I purchased my car at Walker Volkswagen. I asked Ray Brandt to take a look at my car after really bad questionable service with Walker Volkswagen. RBV was knowledgeable, friendly , answered my questions, and made time for me to come in.Immediately, they discovered Walker didnt remove the packaging wrapped around the wheel coils that are supposed to come off at delivery before they drive or sell the cars. I had been driving with this on the car for 10,000 miles. Ray Brandt also discovered Walker had stripped the screws on the cover underneath the car and they fixed the cover. They took such great care of my car and took the time to do things the right way and now it runs like a new car!I wish I bought my Volkswagen from Ray Brandt and read reviews before hand. I really hope this review helps anyone making car decisions. This is the place to go. Great People!!!! Great Service!!!! thank you so much!!!

Bough a Jetta about 4 months ago and was told from the beginning that the coolant light was NOT a leak and they checked it low and behold it was leak they tried to charge me over 1500 for after I bought the car, the heat core in the car is clogged so no heater as well.and I also had to replace the injectors and spark plugs within a month. 10/10 do NOT buy a car from this dealer

I had the pleasure of purchasing a new VW GTI this weekend from Ray Brandt VW in Harvey. Mark Babin the Sales Manager took care of all the pricing and details and had them emailed over and worked out before i set foot in the dealership. He and the Sales Rep Daniel made the process fast and painless. This is my second vehicle from this dealer and wont be my last. The new GM Brian has a great crew working here. The experience I had at Volkswagen Ray Brandt was exceptional and very pleasant Monic my car sales woman was awesome she did everything to get me in a vehicle and I drove off that lot with a brand new 2016 vehicle!!!! This was the best experience Ive had since looking into purchasing a vehicle!!!! This is my first Volkswagon and so far I’m impressed with its handling and the service I’ve received from the initial purchase to my 1st service today. I was pleasantly greeted when I dropped my vehicle off and the service time was reasonable. I was disappointed I didn’t receive the advertised complimentary wash and that there was no one able to take a cash payment when I picked up my vehicle. But overall I’m enjoying my VW best life

This was one of the worst experiences I have had in customer service. I came in knowledgable and ready to fix my car, with the help of Ray Brandt. From the front desk to the service desk, I was treated as an inept young adult, unable to make my own decisions. On top of this, I had to call for updates and ask on my own, as I was not called or informed on decisions with my car. Additionally, the car service, for pickup was unprofessional and uncomfortable. When I called to schedule a ride to take me back, my call was not returned, several times. I am disappointed in the work they did. Finally, when I picked up my car only half of the items were fixed or handled and the vacuum and clean I was told happened, did not occur.

I was in town celebrating the holidays with family. Took a trip to the store and made it to the house when I noticed my tire losing air. It was beyond repair. Contacted several tire places before reaching out to Ray Brandt VW. Very helpful and eager to assist. Within a five minute phone call, had tires, quote, and an appointment to come in on a Saturday right before closing. The CUSTOMER SERVICE was amazing!
