Brought my car in for a tire swap, summer to winter, in October of 2020.During my visit I got to hear my engine being reved up.They also mounted my right rear backwards, against rotation, the three others are fine. So a 0.75 success rate.

Was caught in a pickle with my car breaking down, and my local dealership couldnt take anyone for over a month. Silver Lake got me in the next day and were flexible at early hours. They also drove me home while I waited for the repairs.

I had my vehicle taken there as AAA recommended them as an area BMW repair spot. Which by the way, the shop never gave me my AAA discount... It turned out to be a big mistake. They never reached out via phone - instead they emailed me - I guess social distancing spreads to other areas in life...anyway, they charged me $157 to clean oil from under my car so they can tell where a leak was. I could have has my car or engine cleaned/detailed for the same price. Then they sent me a repair review that stated it would be $4900 to repair my car. Again, they did not call me to talk about what they found - just sent me a cost overview via email. I contacted other actual dealers and the highest I found for these repairs was $3000. They also sent a picture of the tech that worked on my car - he did not look over 20. I would be willing to bet he had no certifications to work on a BMW. They say that they have been earning trust - not sure I see that...you dont earn trust by not calling customers and then trying to overcharge them. I was looking for a local place I could trust - well they did not earn it. I will never go there again and do not recommend you waste your time.

The technicians repaired a leak in my tire from a screw quickly and efficiently. The service staff was pleasant and personable throughout.

Coolant sensor replacement, got done before I had emissions and they did the emissions. Did a thorough check of the car and ended up being $90 less than they quoted. They have changed my tires in the past and would recommend them. A little pricey, but I only got one other quote from another company.

Sarah is exceptional at making sure all the details are covered. The work is done perfectly. I had custom wheels mounted and TPMS sensors installed.

Indifferent, didnt do it on time, even though they promised, as i had to leave town the next day. Not done, no call, $40 to fix a tire leak. No integrity.UPDATE: They tried hard to make it right but the damage was done. They did really try. The tire was unrepairable so i repaired it myself. 600 miles later the tire is still holding perfectly. I heard there was a law about using plugs, so maybe their hands were tied, idk.

They evaluated our diesel truck after we had some back firing. Gave us a loaner vehicle while checking it out. We were very pleased with their service and definitely will use them again.

I needed new tires and brake service and I am very satisfied with the work and customer service that was provided by Silver Lake Auto. They were thorough- sent an email with details on what work was needed and were very knowledgeable. The work was done promptly and my car runs much smoother! The cookies at the end were a plus, too!

I have a Honda Civic I took here to get the brakes serviced recently. In the report it was stated that they inspected and cleaned/adjusted the rear drum brakes all was well until my brake fluid light came on a week later I looked under the car and found brake fluid everywhere. It was stated everything was fine witch it was not I took the car back and they said it has a leaking wheel cylinder that was perfectly fine before it was brought here. now I have to take it to another shop to get it fixed and add on to the $1300 I paid very frustrating. 0 stars ⭐️I’ve had multiple bad experiences here when they destroyed my adjustable camber plates on my other classic car after an alignment because they did not know what they were doing I am done with this shop for good.

I purchased new tires and had my brakes replaced at the Oconomowoc location (service at this location was also wonderful!); therefore, once it was time for my tire rotation, the Hartland location performed this service at no charge. Sarah was wonderful to deal with. Service was professional and staff were very courteous. Will definitely continue to give Silvermans Lake Auto my business.

We have had two cars in for service at Siver Lake in Hartland in the past month and have been pleased with the quality of the work and cometitive price. Brake service was cheaper than the dealership and done in less time. Staff was friendly. They provide a detailed evaluation of your car.

Being a mechanic myself, I am more critical than most about others working on my cars and trucks. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and take time to write up a very detailed report about your vehicle each time you bring it in for a repair. The office staff keep you well informed each step of the way of repairs being performed. I trust this shop and would recommend them to friends and family.

I was impressed with the thoroughness of the vehicle inspection. Original problem was minor but the inspection identified other areas that need attention or careful watching.

I had an F150 that needed a new motor. Matt and his team did an amazing job. They worked with the warranty company and provided them with every detail they need to process the claim. Had some major front end work done. They were able to keep the cost down as much as possible, which was greatly appreciated. An unexpected, somewhat unrelated issue arose after picking up the car. They resolved it for me immediately & that too was appreciated. Their friendly & helpful staff was nice to work with.

Silver Lake Auto did a wonderful job replacing tires on my Highlander. They were very price competitive with others in the area. The tires were installed quickly and efficiently and I even had use of a free loaner so that I wouldnt have to sit around and wait, or arrange for a ride. Whats even better is that I get free tire rotations for the life of the tires. I saved a bundle with that convenient feature.

Stopped in for emergency tire repair on fleet business vehicle. Zeke took prompt action observing damage and estimating cost on the spot. Repaired significant damage within 30 min. I had a trip to Minnesota planned for a Friday afternoon and that Friday morning on my way to work noticed that my battery light was on. I took a picture of my dashboard and contacted Darren who quickly figured out it was my alternator and made arrangements around my schedule to get me in and fix the problem in time for me to get on the road. Darren is the best and I have had nothing but excellent service from everyone that works at Silver Lake Auto. Matt is delightful and was very professional and fun to talk to. All around great place to take your car. I highly recommend it!

I very highly recommend Silver Lake Auto (Hartland Location) to anyone having car problems. This is HANDS DOWN THE BEST REPAIR SHOP I have seen in a LONG TIME. I have had problems with a used car I bought, it seems, about once a month. I am not originally from the area and my usual mechanic is over 4 hours away. After being in and out of 3 different shops (sub par quality fixes), I finally found this location. I was a tad bit skeptical, at first, about the reviews posted. But after having work done at the location 3 separate times now, I can ensure you that every fix has been fast and of high quality. (This was especially a concern of mine owning a Nissan). They even have loaner cars available while your own vehicle is getting fixed which is fantastic cause then I dont have to go out of my way to find a ride to work.Side Note: I just found out they also offer a credit card ONLY for CAR REPAIRS with 0%APR for 1 year from the time the charge is put on the card. So if you cant necessarily afford the repairs all at once, you can pay them off over a year with no penalty. I applied over the phone with Matt and was approved in under 5 minutes. This saved my buns on the last repairs I had done.

The service I received was fast, and courteous. The repair was diagnosed, and taken care of. The use of a free loner car over the weekend was a nice surprise. After the repair was completed, I did question the price of the replacement part. The owner Darren responded to my concern immediately, and checked on the billing process. Through the thorough investigation of my truck they also noted a concern with the brake fluid, no pressure to repair, but when given the go ahead, had my truck ready when promised. Silver Lake Auto (North Lake) has consistently provided me with excellent service. Their shop is clean, their exployes bright, competent, efficient, and helpful. They are good problem solvers who create an atmosphere of authentic customer care.

I have to say I will not recommend anyone to this place. It was so bad at once the owner had to give me 4 brand new tires to keep my business. The work is sub par. The customer service is terrible. I sent a email to the manager about stuff flying off my shelf in my work van. It took me over a hour to clean it. Now I know why it does that cause you drive to fast. I sent the manager a email and yes I did say there driving like fing a holes. This isnt the first time it gas happened. I had to call him and he said if I ever swear like that in a email again they will not do business with me. Which thats fine I will not have my business there. I have spent over 10k with them this year and I guess they dont want that anymore. Also I spent over 1k on my work van for a knocking noise in the front. I kept telling them what I thought it was and nothing. So I took it too another mechanic and he fixed it. So I spent all this money on a non fixed item. Im very disappointed in there business and effort. I have recommended numerous people to them and that will all stop. There has been other things that I have let them slide on and im just done dealing with it. I do appreciation the good things they have done but the bad things out weigh the good.

I trust these guys! Matt has always been completely honest with me. I have never had any issues. My wife and I used to go to Lexus and Acura dealerships for all service (8+ years). However, after a couple of major screw-ups at those locations we decided to try Silver Lake. Well, we’ve never looked back or regretted our decision. If you haven’t visited Silver Lake yet, give them a try ... I’m sold. (All I miss from the Acura & Lexus dealers is the coffee)

Disappointed with diagnostic services went to experts went to Huckstorf diesel you totally mis diagnosed the problem the truck is running better than when you first installed the motor and they also fixed the dipstick prpblem.I highly recommend HUCKSDORF diesel.

Excellent service from my recent service - 5 stars!I received some great advice from Matt and the team at Hartland/North Lake Silver Lake Auto on tire selection. Prices were very competitive. They went the extra mile (pardon the pun) to squeeze me in on short notice, and provided me a free loaner while the work was being done.The only issue I experienced is within 24 hours of service, the TPMS sensors claimed the tire pressure is a problem. I havent yet determined if it is a real issue, a system issue, or something else.UPDATE: The issue turned out to be the TPMS requiring reset. I verified the tire pressures were correct 5 days after installation. After verifying this, I reset the TPMS and havent had an issue since.

I am a longtime customer and excited they opened the new location in Hartland as its closer to my house in Brookfield.I was very satisfied with Darrens tire recommendation and the prompt service....and the cookies.
