We do not recommend spending time or money with this company. We had the kitchen installed at the end of October 2020, and today, for example the hinges in one cabinet came off the cabinet and the door fell.The installation was done so poorly that each cabinet had 5 or 6 holes before securing them on the studs. We could not supervise the installer as we were social distancing, but after he left we saw some doors did not close properly and the granite counter top was chipped. We asked the issues to be addressed and never heard back. We so NOT trusting their customer service nor their workmanship, that my husband is now correcting the issue of the fallen door himself. Beware!

Quality is average, customer service is terrible, and their plumber did a horrific job and caused a leak onto my heater which could have started a fire and did cause water damage. They refuse to do ANYTHING about it because I had my plumber come out and fix it and didnt wait for them to send their plumber back over. Highly highly DO NOT recommend.

The Express Kitchen Team from first rep Colby Secl in the Orange office to Pete Adoretti at Cooperate office in Hartford, were true professionals, who had the best interest of my family’s satisfaction at the core of every decision made throughout the purchase experience. Pete & Colby are the two reasons I will work with Express Kitchen for future kitchen projects. However, for the time being, we will enjoy this beautiful kitchen we just purchased 👍🏼... This is a harassment customer service. The guy name is rush from Springfield location he send me down to hardford location to pick up kitchen countertops and when I got here they said they can not do it today. So bad I mean real bad. Please don’t do business here

Deborah was phenomenal! We had to “meet” through Zoom to look at countertops, and Deb was so good about grabbing slabs of granite and holding them up in front of the camera! She’s friendly and cares about her customers!

When I moved into my apartment a few years ago the cabinets had just been installed so we were the first ones to use them. They are pretty much just your standard kitchen cabinets,nothing fancy. I do like their finish and that they are white because they are easy to clean and the color makes the room seem fresh and makes it seem a bit bigger. I like the look of them even though they are not super fancy by any means. I would recommend this brand to anyone that asked for my opinion of them. They are good cabinets and have lasted the 5 years that I have owned them. I specially want to thank Robert for the remodel!!

I am standing in the waiting area a white guy came and told care of the white lady that was waiting with me and after she left he continued to ignore me. Thankfully I am here to cancel my countertop. because no one answered the phone when I call to set up the appointment. So done with these people

Granted its 8 years ago they installed my kitchen cabinets, but they installed 2 different colors of white doors on all my doors. I dont smoke, fry or burn candles. all customer service said was sorry. Its a small kitchen and they wont replace the doors to all the same white. You get what u pay for. Id never recommend them!

This wasnt a great experience. After all the headaches we went through to pick up our cabinets. To then pick them up and some of the cabinets are messed up. I called I was suppose to get a replacenent cabinet and no call back. At this point my husband handled it and I dont want to continue with the headaches here. I do love my cabinets but the shopping experience here wasnt the greatest. You spend lots of money to get treated like this.. no good.

Express kitchens should not be growing, growing, growing. They are a terrible business with even worse customer service. Please stay far away. March 11th, 2020 I ordered counter tops. I received confirmation that it would arrive on the 30th. Then there was a message stating they would be closed due to corona for 2 weeks and they will update. I was never updated that they reopened. I happened to call and they were open. I asked for an update. They had nothing to say but that they would reorder. But why would you need to reorder? My money came out of my account since march 11th. I tried to be understanding so I told the women order it. It should have arrived on Monday April 20th. On the 17th I called and told them I can not pick up until Wednesday the 22nd they said that it is fine it will be there waiting. My contractor removed my counter tops. On Wednesday I called to be sure everything was set while picking up a truck. I was told my counter tops were damaged. I believe that is a lie because it should have arrived Monday, why not call from Monday and let me know? The lady stated she was going to put in an order right now. I said ok. But called back the 2 days to see if they could give me a discount or offer me a counter top temporarily I was told I believe it was Karen head of customer service she had to look into and call me back on the next business day since it was 1:45 and the close 2p. I said ok. She never called me next business day. I went to the office in person and requested a refund. Dan said he wanted to look into it for me to see what he could do. He comes back and says I see that they sent us the wrong color counter top? I said that’s funny because I was told it was damaged? If it was the wrong color show it to me maybe I would take it because I have no counter tops. They are lying. The only thing they offered was that if I choose another color I could get it faster. They never offered any percentage off for this gross inconvenience. How can someone tell you they do not have any counter tops in their home and you don’t offer any solution besides waiting. They didn’t even offer a temporary counter top which I heard was possible. He tried to say it was all because of corona but my order had been placed before Corona closing. Even if Corona was the issue I was never contacted by them after they text they would be closed. Dan told me I have to wait another business day just to get my money back and I still had to call because the whole day was passing and Dan did not call. They have zero customer service. They are expensive and are a fraud. I am glad this happened because I got a way better deal with another company and better service.

Dont go anywhere near this place. That short fat Iier that see on tv is nothing more than a con man. I to made the mistake of paying in full only to have two of the worst cabinet installers come to my house and do probably the worst cabinet job that I ever seen they put the center table over a clock that they knocked off the wall and did not bother to pick it up or to tell us so we could have picked it up. The cabinets where hanging off the wall they were uneven and just looked terrible, when we called to complain we got the run around and just horrible customer service. We had to hire someone else to fix the cabinets the right way .so when you hear that con man say that express kitchens is growing growing growing dont believe a word that he is saying. THEY Are Awful awful awful

****WARNING *****WARNING****WARNING****In MY experience there is NO express in EXPRESS KITCHENS. I was told repeatedly that there was a 2 week turnaround, After ordering and signing a contract, it then jumped to 4 weeks with a solid delivery date, THEN I was notified that the manufacturer was on a two week Jewish holiday break, which then brought my cabinet delivery to six weeks.The cabinets were ordered wrong, and didn’t have finished sides, and the man they sent to measure, made an error as well, so the design is off and dysfunctional. So we were stuck with a half done kitchen for many weeks waiting on Express Kitchens to make this right. Express Kitchens tried to deliver and install our quartz counters, almost bullying us. They swore if we took delivery, they would make everything right for us! This is not the case, their options were insulting. In the end after over 50 emails and many phone calls our kitchen was finally finished 4 1/2 MONTHS after we ordered an EXPRESS KITCHENS! I DO NOT recommend this company. Do yourself a favor and stick with a REAL cabinet company... your kitchen is the center of your home, DO NOT cut corners there.Express Kitchens customer service representative was condescending and uncaring. We were lied to repeatedly, and we were NEVER able to speak with CEO Max Kothari, who I believe needs to be more informed on his company’s daily operations. Too many LIES!!! AVOID HEARTACHE, DO NOT USE EXPRESS KITCHENS!!

Prices are fairService is VERY subpar.I came for a scheduled pick up and waited over an hour. That was after waiting 10 minutes to even be acknowledged as a customer. I will NOT be using them for ANYTHING ever again as customers dont seem to mean much.

Steer clear of this place! They are the most unprofessional outfit Ive every experienced. We ordered our cabinets (and stupidly paid in full at the time of ordering them) - HUGE MISTAKE!!!! Our experience has been horrible from day one. The designer (and I use that term very loosely) sat with us for two hours and drew up our design. He forgot to save the drawing and something happened to his computer. He had to redraw the entire thing! We sat there for another hour to make sure he remembered to add everything we asked for (glass doors, spice rack, etc.) Seemed like we had it all set and we felt confident to have our contractor come up the next week with the payment and the exact measurements. The following week he did just that. They determined that the wall cabinets had to be reduced from 36 to 33 inches, which meant he had to redraw all over again. Unfortunately, this time he didnt bother making sure that all of the items we asked for got incorporated into the new design. This is NOT rocket science people!!! We chose the Mero cabinets, because of the lower price point, but mostly because the designer/salesman assured us that those cabinets are built here (by Star/Express Kitchens) and so they can be delivered within a couple of days. We thought....Great! WRONG!!!! Its been 5 weeks and we are still waiting for some of our cabinets. Oh dont get me wrong....they had some available for our contractor to pick up, but not all of them. And, out of the ones they did provide us: one (the tall pantry unit) was cracked; one was supposed to be a spice drawer, but was a plain base cabinet instead; another two were supposed to have glass doors, they didnt. Also, DO NOT BUY THE MERO CABINETS!!!!!! They are the cheapest things ever made. The recessed panel in the back of the door isnt even the same size so there is an ugly gap all the way around. And, in some cases they were constructed crooked. We are completely regretting going with those cabinets (not to mention going with Express Kitchens, in general). I think the worst thing of all throughout this whole experience, has been their lack of customer service and transparency. They simply dont care about the customer. I understand that our kitchen project isnt one of their bigger accounts, but all the more reason it shouldnt be too difficult to get it right. Again....not rocket science. Honestly, we toyed with the idea of having our carpenter uninstall the cabinets that we actually got, return them and demand a refund. At this point, wed almost rather order from Home Depot and wait the five weeks. At least we have confidence that well get what we asked for and the quality wont be sub-par. Its too late for us....save yourself! Go somewhere else!

Picked up some of the scratch and dent cabinets for my basement. Honestly wouldnt put these cabinets on my kitchen or anywhere else in my home if they were new. Weak construction with cheap hardware. I doubt they would last long at all before falling apart and needing repairs. Save time and irritation and go to Lowes or Home Depot and get better quality.

Its ok, not the best customer service. Found out I had to hound to get simple answers, and copies of floor plan for contractors. A bit pricey for getting bottom counters, no top counters with no fridg covering cabinets and it came out to seven grand! This is including a left over piece of slate counter with a little island counter. Again had I known I would have gone somewhere else. Just be warned! I wonder if I had gone with their commercial deal for both top and bottom cabinets for 8,000. Just doesnt make sense! I didnt even get tops counters! Ugggg!

I called in late for my job considering they scheduled me for 9am. I sat at my home until 10:22am AND I DIDNT EVEN GET THE DECENCY OR PROFESSIONALISM OF GETTING A CALL STATING THEY WERE RUNNING LATE? OR NOT COMMING??. I called their office and got a voice mail of Richard in which I left a message requesting a call and some clarity on my appointment. NO RESPONSE I was ready to drop $15,000.00 on a kitchen make over and NOW IM TAKING MY REVENUE TO ANOTHER COMPANY!. Im not sure about the other Express Kitchens but If any of my business execs ever ask me about that name I will have nothing but unprofessional things to say about there service.WHAT EVER YOU DO, GOOGLE ANOTHER COMPANY FOR YOUR KITCHEN WORK. If they are this unprofessional I can only imagine how my kitchen would have turned out. ##UDESERVEBETTER.

Stay away from Express Kitchens!!! Charles NEVER returns phone calls, plays the dumb game and is extremely narcissistic. Express Kitchens does NOT look out for their customers. Our new cabinets are uneven and bang into each other when you open the doors. After 3 months of dealing without a complete kitchen that we paid for, we are still waiting for the knobs to our cabinets that we were shorted at the install. We have had numerous problems and Charles had promised to Fed Ex the missing knobs and credit us 500.00 because of ALL Express Kitchens mistakes and we have yet to see neither!! Thank you Charles for looking out for your customers and returning their calls....NOT!!!BUYERS BEWARE OF EXPRESS KITCHENS

Paid a lot of money for my new kitchen, and express kitchen is terrible, Hamden Location, first off they came to measure , they got all of the measurements wrong, I had to have my contractor remeasure to the correct size, after calling my sales rep and telling her that it was wrong, they still delivered the wrong size, after spending 2 days getting the measurements right with them, they had the nerve to ask me to go and pick it up, I refused and they delivered it in 45 min, good right , wrong the measurement was to long and it was the wrong counter top, not even close, please I should not have to go any further but to add insult to injury, I had to pay my contractor over 300.00 more to correct their mistakes, trust me I will never got back to them again..
