We love BAM, we visit at least once a week. Amazing selection, awesome staff. The only thing that hinders the great experience is the man who sits in the coffee shop for hours a day and smells tremendously horrible. We cannot go anywhere near the cafe without being repulsed. They may be losing potential coffee sales because of this.

Nice atmosphere but terribly overpriced. They sell used books for more than a brand new copy from Amazon. How does that make sense? Some board games are higher than retail prices. Its a fine place to browse but I wouldnt buy anything here.

Not too many places like this left. I love the clearance area and the discounts. The Cafe is nice and Im excited to see when they can bring their full menu back.

Great bookstore plus soooo much more! Toys and gifts of all kinds. Mega variety of different genres and categories of books 📚 Great prices and value. Great selection of planners, calendars, notebooks, journals, even sage bundles and crystals! Fantastic metaphysical section! They even have an awesome buy back program. The store has a very clean nice restroom 🚻 and a nice Cafe. The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂 I would definitely recommend x a million (no pun intended 😆)

It has a wide selection of all kinds of books it is considerably pricey but they have a clearance section which is good!

I see a Vast quantity of many subjects( books, music,etc.)Love going there! They have something for everyone there! One thing though? Some areas of the store I dont hit, but History, Psych., other areas( classic books!!) I surely spend WAY more time than the average person, in there!! 😋😋😉😉

I really just wanted to buy some books and the selection is okay, too much other stuff. Gave 2 stars because you cant pay without listening to a sales pitch about their rewards program which costs money. I would avoid this place totally if there was another book store in the area.

Fantastic book selection. Virtually identical to Barnes and Noble. Bought Yuval Noah Hararis second book, Homo Deus. Mind blowing. Great staff and very clean and well stocked store. That said, the hard sell for membership + magazine subscriptions was a turn off and felt forced on employees. 4 of 5 stars.

They have a great selection of books also, the kids section is so nice.

I like going there for their manga section but lately they have been going really small woth it and alot of manga have been missing the first volume but having all the rest which annoys me. Also their prices when up unlike other stores so i recommend going to other stores to see the price difference first.

Decent bookstore with a fair amount of options. Prices seem to be fair and they always have a sale section with great pricing on bargain books and toys. Great little coffee shop inside with lots of fun drinks and snacks.

Drove all the way from North Lebanon township to go here. Had a great time, there are so many cool things there. Ended up buying a pack of cool pens and a really song t-shirt that just says basic on it, because Im basic.

The store is very nice and the customer service is good but the prices are high and you can see why Amazon is putting them out of business. I looked at a comic book collection and they wanted 100$ while Amazon was only charging 60$ for the same collection.

Great selection and something is always on sale. They now have a store credit trade-in program and sell used books on the shelves with the new items. Highly recommend getting the Millionaires Club discount card - easily pays for itself and you get to participate in the members only sale events like the recent Penny-A-Page program! I really hope this location doesnt disappear like Borders...its so hard to find a good bookstore these days!

I understand the economic necessity of having other products besides books and I think BAM is doing a pretty good job of striking a balance. Though I miss books only stores this one is still enjoyable to while away an hour or two.

Friendly and helpful staff

I love that this store is open when most book stores shuttered. Ive always found the ones I went In for. Staff is helpful and friendly. They have other merchandise for sale also, some that i dont see at most stores, unique gifts, especially for kids.

The store is very well organized. The self service kiosk area is exceptionally helpful with locating products within the store, and online if not available in store. At times when Im sure I looked lost I was asked if I needed help. Everyone was extremely pleasant without being pushy. Thats a plus for me.

My daughter is an avid reader, and a double honors student. My family is always in the Books-A-Million store in that area. On our recent visit, one of their assistant was about to leave at the end of her shift when she approached us. Can I assist you, we heard, and which she did. My daughter was shown a whole section of books by James Patterson, wow, I got her three of his books. All from being pleasantly assisted.

Love the fact you can walk into a BOOKSTORE!! Staff are personable and voluntarily offer to help locate desired purchases. Extensive collection of greeting cards and magazines. Comfy section in the in- store cafe to purchase a cup of joe and peruse reading materials. Like seeks like; quiet, literary minded folk are encountered .

I think Ive only been here once before and I dont remember the experience but the other day I went and I would say that they have a very nice selection of books at reasonable prices and in fact I got some at really good prices that were on sale. my only criticism would be that they didnt seem like they were staffed very well. I had a hard time finding anybody to ask a question to.

The only reason I didnt give BAM 5 stars is lengthy, high pressure sales pitch I have to endure when I make a purchase. I dont want a rewards membership, or a newsletter, or email alerts, etc., etc. I recently put up with this for about 5 minutes! All it did was make me appreciate Amazon even more. Stop badgering your customers, or pretty soon you wont have any.

Huge selection and knowledge staff

I had been a permanent fixture here in the past. I liked it when it was called Borders. I spent many a day for hours at a time here then. I went for music, books, events and more. BAM as it is now known for many years stopped being a main place for me. They removed seating and made it more difficult to find books. They have less inventory. More gadgets and toys, puzzles, no music, and well I stopped going. I have moved from the area now but will return someday to see how its changed. If you go here write reviews so I can see what it has in store for me. I loved the mall....Michaels, Target, and so many other stores. It was my go too.

Not sure about the million thing. More toys, games, candy and novelties than books. That said, the store was well stocked and clean. Prices were reasonable. There is also a coffee bar with seating. Overall a very nice store.

Very nice bookstore. Worth a stop if you are looking for a new read. Plenty of parking, helpful staff, and a coffee shop inside of the store. Lots of other stores around so good for all your shopping needs.

I found some good bargains in the sale section. Probably go back again with the tween and teens so they can pick their own books next time.

This store replaced the much better Borders that used to be here.Book selections are limited. They seem more focused on the cafe area and music etc than books.It is clean and the cashiers were pleasant.

Staff was very helpful, and visible. I took my time and walked the aisles. It reminds me of a college bookstore as you can buy new and used. The gal working in the cafe where I bought a smoothie was so nice. I will go again.

Thank goodness we still have a decent brick and mortar bookstore nearby. This place has whats expected and is a nice place to go with kids. They have decent young kids and tween sections. Prices are a little higher than online...look for coupons or join their club.

They also have good small gift selections. Books, comics, cds, records, games, toys, they have everything you are looking for in a bookstore. I have never had a bad experience there.
