Good work, honest people. Another shop said I needed an expensive part. Had Tire Mart look at it and they said I didnt. Never had a problem with that part the whole time I had the vehicle (and I kept it until it was scrap)

We have been going to Tire Mart since 2013 and NEVER have they taken advantage of us. They have only ever told us what really needed to be fixed. It’s rare these days that when you take your cars to be inspected to an automotive shop that more often than not, you’re only paying for the inspection service itself. Rather so many shops tell you for it to pass inspection you need ……. Of course they have fixed things on our vehicles but only when necessary. They are very fair in their prices as well. We will be lifelong patrons of Tire Mart. You should give them a try as you won’t be disappointed!

I needed back brakes. However Im not sure if I need it all of it. I dont know if I just need a brake pads replaced. Or maybe I just need it rotors. I somehow felt that I may have been taken advantage of. Because when I first went there in the morning they told me they closed at noon. That they would look at my car and they could tell me if it was my brakes or what was wrong with it. And I said well if you could do it as quickly as possible it was the 4th of July weekend that Saturday. So if need be I could take it somewhere else. My main mechanic is not open on the weekends. And I also had a previous experience with Tire Mart that I just wasnt quite trusting that I needed my battery replaced when the night before my car was towed there my battery was working fine my car was running fine. My gear shift broke however in my opinion my car was running fine and I didnt seem to have any battery troubles. But thats done and over with now. However Im grateful that they were able to fix the brakes for me. So I can enjoy the fourth July holiday to go up to Schuylkill county safely. And not hurt anyone or myself.

The Tire Mart in Harrisburg delivered outstanding service to us this summer (2021) in a major pinch - and they could have turned us down like everybody else, but didnt. Its one of those cases where money wasnt the object, but time, family situation, safety. weather and other commitments we had made it critically important to get answers on an issue. The Tire Mart team came through for us in a big way!Around mid-day on July 5, we had an emergency repair requirement related to a suddenly failed air conditioner compressor while traveling with a car full of kids and dogs and luggage, etc. through the Harrisburg/Hershey area from Virginia to the Finger Lakes area for the night and later on to Western New York. After pulling over at an incredibly friendly service station next to Hershey Park (multiple people offered us cold drinks, water for our dogs, shade for our kids while we pursued repair options using our mobile phone), numerous calls were made to local dealers, repair shops and NOT ONE would/could spare the time to LOOK at our car to determine the exact nature of the problem, much less repair it - within 1-5 days from our call.Thanks to a wonderful woman who asked us if we needed help and then dialed up Tire Mart herself saying I like these guys and they always help me and treat me fairly when I need something done on my car, we spoke on the phone to a company rep and gained his agreement to make the 20-minute drive over (in 97 degree heat) to their store in Harrisburg to get a diagnosis. Though they didnt have any schedule room for the next week to get a repair made, they did confirm (in less than an hour of waiting on a very busy post-July 4 holiday Monday) that our AC compressor/clutch was shot. We got their assurance the car could be driven (though without AC of course) safely and we were on our way to a guaranteed/non-cancellable reservation that night at a resort more than 3 hours away. The cost for the diagnosis by Tire Mart was minimal, by the way.We are so thankful for the kind spirit and outstanding professionalism and service from The Tire Mart staff and management. I believe it was the youngest of their team (possibly a family member of the owner) who confirmed the problem, showed us the failed part, and recommended the repair needed - which we later completed near our home after our return. He and the manager and counter staff were all very kind to us on one of their busiest days of the year - and we drove away in the late afternoon as happy as you could be with such a major blow occurring right in the middle of a vacation trip with 2 young kids and 2 dogs along for the ride.Leaving Tire Mart, we were discouraged but at least relieved to find out from the best auto repair store in Harrisburg that the problem wasnt worse than an AC compressor on our 9-year old SUV! Fortunate to add a scarce (during Covid) one-way rental car obtained at the quiet Harrisburg airport to our entourage - my daughter and kids piled in the rental while I drove the full 3 hours in my SUV alone to our Finger Lakes destination in near 100 degree heat and it was HOT (and stormy, with occasional torrential rain presenting a bit of a challenge to open the windows!) all the way...Thank you to the awesome Tire Mart team!

Ive been comimg here for years. Nothing has changed. That means that they have always been extremely friendly, and have always strived to please their customers! And they are not just about tires. Most of my visits have been for routine maintenance, and repairs. Do not hesitate to try use this place because they are as trustworthy as they come!!

My oil light went one on my 2002 BMW M3 and I took it to Tire Mart. The service manager told me to pull up in front of one of the bays. A mechanic checked the oil and put in a quart and a half of full synthetic 5-30.I went in to pay and they said no charge. Wow! I have been taking my cars to Tire Mart for over 20 years and they are the best for service and advice.Thanks Tire Mart.

I used them a few months back for a tire repair and they were so nice I knew I would be back when I needed their services! After being told I needed new tires from another establishment during a routine inspection, I made an appointment at Tire Mart to get that done. After a few minutes the tech explained & educated me why my current tires were more than fine and I didn’t in fact need a new set. Clearly Tire Mart was the exact opposite of where I had been because they could have easily sold me something I didn’t really need and I would have never known the difference, but instead I was shown integrity and exceptional customer service. I have been going here for almost 15 years or so to get tires mounted on difficult vehicles with large rims and tires. They always do a great job, customer service is exceptional. I cant think of any other shop in Central Pennsylvania that I would have mount / balance tires on large expensive wheels. Thanks for the continued great service and prices!

Lost a tire from my travel trailer on way into town. Camping world wouldnt return my calls. Tire Mart got me a new tire within a day.

I love the Tire Mart. Become a regular and they will treat you right. Theyre great for good deals on tires, but its the experience and expertise (and friendliness) of the staff that makes them superior. I use them for all my vehicle maintenance as well. They have great mechanics that have been able to fix anything I throw at them from changing light bulbs to doing a brake job or a/c job or something more complex like a transmission. They work with your schedule so you can keep on keeping on. They never over-charge or over-repair. Theyre honest in a world full of people trying to take advantage of people who nothing about cars (like myself). Theyre my car gurus. I highly, highly recommend them.

We have our oil changes, vehicle inspections and tires changed here regularly. We were referred by a coworker. Nice waiting room with coffee, tv, snacks and food. They will fix your tire while you wait.

I was very sad to go there some months ago and see so many workers without masks but put it off to the newness of the disease. I went there recently and ALL the workers were unmasked. I personally know 4 people whove died of covid. Its a shame Ill be forced to take my business elsewhere, but I wont let the selfishness of the business put my life at risk. As I said, sad. And incredibly selfish.

Great staff and owner. Took a tire in, thought i would have to replace, but they were able to plug it. Saved me money. As far as I can tell mechanics will not look for extras to try a upsell . In short ; an exceptional place for tires, inspection, brakes ,ect.

I had a tire blowout on the highway and got towed to Tire Mart. I explained that I was in the middle of a trip to Pittsburgh and really needed to get back on the road. Despite it being a busy day they put me at the top of the list and I was out in an hour. My family and I broke down coming from Hershey Park at night. Had my car towed there for a new tire. Not being from around here I knew nothing of this place however I got there at 730 to get it fixed by 8 they were done and we were on the road. This place was great and had a very good staff on hand

I had a side wall tear and had to have my car towed. Luckily I was a few miles from The Tire Mart. I drive a Fiat 500 and the tires are an odd size and not a stocked item. The service department immediately contacted their supplier and the tire was on the way shortley after my car arrived. They had the work done and I was back on the road in short order. Many thanks to MID ATLANTIC AUTOMOTIVE RECOVERY SERVICES and especially the team at THE TIRE MART for excellent response and friendly service. I have used this company in the past and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic service here. I got a flat on my 67 firebird a few miles away and needed to find a shop to tow to. After calling a few places, these guys were the only ones to say they had what I needed to get back on the road in the middle of my road trip. As soon as the car was unloaded off the truck they got to work immediately and had a new tire on there in 20 minutes. Thanks so much for the great customer service on such short notice!

I hit a pothole that gave me an instant flat tire. I was at Tire Mart waiting for them to open at 7:30. The line got long quick, before they opened. Once opened, they had plenty of people working the counter that we all got help quick. I was in and out within an hour, 2 new tires and an alignment. A+ service with super friendly people! Thanks guys for turning a rough morning into a great experience! My car feels amazing! I didnt know how bad it felt until you made it perfect again!

Great company !! Ive been going to Tire Mart for 40 years. Many changing faces but same top shelf service as the founders demanded.I replaced the new tires on my 2020 Ford 350 with Toyos for the Pa winters and mud. Couldnt be happier how well they treated me!!

My first visit was very good. I expected to find problems with price or time. And to my surprise, there prices and time to complete my tire service was excellent. Also they offer military discount on services.

I ordered tires for my car from this local business. I prefer to purchase from local businesses as much as possible. Its always a huge relief to call the business, get an actual human who takes your questions quickly and kindly, and is very helpful. I got a reasonable price on my tires, too. Maybe not as good as Tire Rack, Discount Tire, etc., but the local difference of just a couple dollars per tire was fine.I did not come to this location for service (though I am acquainted with a few people who have taken their vehicles here for decades) and the service bays were quite busy. The shop property as a whole was so busy, there was virtually no place to park. It seems they had many derelict vehicles in the secondary lot out back. Im not sure how much of that the business can control, but its a worthwhile expectation to have if you come here.What was disappointing given that these are the times of Coronavirus, was that none of the staff was wearing masks when I entered (I was, of course). PA Governor has a public mask mandate so it was odd to me that it looked like at least 3 staff members were in open defiance. Ill clarify, too, that its not that they didnt have masks on their faces, but they didnt have them on their person at all. Not outright dangerous, perhaps, but still very disappointing. For contrast, my preferred local auto shop isnt even letting patrons in their lobby to complete payment or pick up keys because theyre that respectful of social distancing measures (payment is made over the phone and keys exchanged via drop off). There are plenty of ways to operate this business in unprecedented times of communicable disease, and again, just disappointed not to see it followed here.Second, and again not the direct fault of Tire Mart, was that because I chose to park on the adjacent property of the ATT store (whose spots were almost entirely empty), one of their staff accosted me about parking where I did, for the literal 3 minutes I was parked there to load my tires. That was definitely an unpleasant experience. Beware of the next door ATT store yelling at you about a non-issue should you have to park there.

Love this place! Reliable, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable service. I bought my tires here less than a year ago. Great tires, by the way. Today there was a slow leak in one of my tires so I called to see if they could look at it. I was told to bring it in whenever I could. I took it in around 11:30 a.m. with no appointment. They fixed my tire and I was out of there within an hour. Turns out I had a nail in my tire. They fixed it for free. I wouldnt go anywhere else for tire service!

Was able to drive to The Tire Mart and they took us right in and fortunately was able to patch the tire from inside. We were back on our way in no time and these guys were great!

The place didn’t have what I needed but gave me all the answers to the questions I asked and actually helped me find a shop that could get what I needed for my vehicle to get back on the road safely! Even though they couldn’t help my car, their experience for over 30 years in tires was very beneficial for me.

I bought Michelin tires there, with that I get free tire rotation every five thousand miles. I go get an oil change and tire rotation. You make an appointment so you dont have to wait an extremely long time. Everyone is polite and you can watch TV while you wait.

The people who work here are honest, trustworthy, and kind. They dont try to upsell you on unnecessary services. We are so glad to have found Tire Mart and will recommend them to anyone in need of car repair or state inspection.

I was between getting new tires at Costco or Tire Mart and made the right choice. Almost a year after we got new tires put on, my wife found a nail in her tire that was causing a slow leak. A quick visit this morning with no charge, and our car was all fixed up and back on the road. Now thats service! We will be using Tire Mart in the future for any tire needs.

I had a slow leak that I brought in to be checked out this morning. I called ahead to make sure they would have time to take me. The lot was pretty full when I got there, but they fixed my tire permanently within 30 minutes and the cost was EXTREMELY reasonable. Definitely will recommend The Tire Mart in the future!

They came recommended, and while I also would recommend them there are a couple of things that I was unhappy about. While I am a very patient person being quoted an hour to replace all 4 tires on my car and it ultimately taking over 2 hrs was a bit disappointing. With no updates. Also the female receptionist could try and be a little more engaged with the transaction instead of worrying about her personal phone while checking customers out.Otherwise I am happy and will suggest this place.

The techs at Tire Mart are honest and fast. If they cant fix something, they will let let you know. I just wish they could do more types of repairs.

These guys as far as the tire sales are hard to beat. Not only do they have the best tire prices they have free rotation and if you ever get a nail they fix it for free,the right way not just a plug. Serving the community for many years thanks guys!

Driving by I heard employees of this establishment were shouting profanities across the parking lot to the labor strike at AT&T. I have no idea what sort of professional environment in which you are allowed to shout those things while on the job. You tell me you think you would be fired if you did that to potential customers? This is a federally protected right in America. Real great people, I wouldnt trust these clowns to change a windshield wiper if they were $100 dollars less than the competition. Anyone with common decency should avoid this business, I hope they go out of business and every one of them is jobless.
