This location has been great! They take the time to explain everything to me. Their prices are fair. You can even find coupons online. They check in with me to make sure my car is running well. They always get my car in and out within a reasonable amount of time. I never feel like Im waiting long at all. Great work! Fair prices! And nice informative staff! Cant ask for anything better!

Honest, thorough, economical. The folks at this Meineke Station are very honest and clearly understand that most car owners must budget repairs. They let us know all of the problems, what needed immediate repair and what could wait a bit. And, there is a friendly dog who may greet you, if you like.

Been going around looking for a shop to get my exhaust pipes repaired. Even bought an entire replacement only to be told that the pipes I got wouldn’t fit my car because it had previously been cut and welded. I was referred to Meineke. The first branch I went to was full on a Sunday, but they booked an appointment for me immediately just to be sure I can get my repairs done. My car had previously failed inspection and my deadline was up, so I chanced the Meineke Paxton branch. Scott at the front desk was very accommodating and said that they can do the job soon as his guys get back from lunch. I was there less than an hour, to say the least. The key to excellent service is EXPECTATION MANAGEMENT. They hoisted my car as soon as they got back, took photos of the problem, and I was shown the part that needed repairs, given a quote, and work began. Mark did a great welding job, and my car passed inspection. Professional work, friendly service all done in a timely manner. Thank you Meineke Paxton.

My Audi was due for a State inspection, an oil change, and tire rotation. Setting up the Saturday morning appoinment was easy to do online. The service deck was personable. While waiting on my car I got to meet their excellent dog, Piper. I am pleased with the work done and for informing me on the current status of my tire treads.

All the staff are very friendly and professional they know what they are doing unlike the other branch. they took care of my car put a new exhaust on it and im very happy about the outcome clean welding skills and above and beyond customer service. will be back for my other car.

We needed a tire replacement asap. Scott squeezed us into a busy schedule and the job was done in less time than I thought it would be. The car is driving well. Our last visit to Meineke will not be our last visit. We continue to be able to trust them with everything that happens related to car care. My husband accidentally hit a parking barrier with our new car popping off the spoiler/bumper cover. Not sure what to call it but it would not pop back the way it came off. Finally called Meineke and they said they would be happy to look at it. We were worried but needlessly. They were able to fix it quickly much less expensively than many who would try to take advantage. Again, they are our go to mechanics whenever we have a problem! Try them! You will be pleased you did!Last review- We visited Meineke for the first time a couple months ago and they saved us hundreds of $ by welding the mufflerWe came back for an inspection which was quite costly but they worked hard to give us the best options for our budget plus a couple free servicesWe really like the service delivered by these great mechanics!We have returned so often that we should buy stock in the company!Each time they do their best, stand behind their work and try to save us money where they can.

Consistently questionable prices. This past visit was the straw that broke the camels back. Windshield wipers weren’t working so we took it here, same place we’ve gone for a couple years for regular car maintenance. They called and said it was “a simple fix,” so we said go ahead take care of it. The bill was $700! And that was AFTER they waived the state inspection fee, oil change and wiper blades and added a 10% repeat customer discount. Apparently the mechanic “lied” to Scott about how much repair this would take, which is why he gave us these discounts. At first I wanted to believe good intentions, but look it up. Windshield wiper linkage replacement costs AT MOST $130 for parts and $160 for labor. Why was I charged an extra $400? When I called to ask what happened, Scott was unapologetic. I’m never going back.

I took my girlfriends 2013 Prius in for a synthetic oil change, made the appointment the previous week before and showed up a few minutes early with my appointment being at 10am. I didn’t get out of there until close to 1:30pm. I had this oil change done over a dozen times but always at a dealer or most of the time at an Xpress Lube, in Selinsgrove, at an hour tops, that’s even pushing it. We found a coupon for 10% off so we chose to go here. I’m satisfied with the work but not the communication and time they took to do it. If you choose to get an oil change here, I’d expect to wait a little longer than anticipated.

Charge me 215 for exhaust install, and i bring the exhaust. just weld the new part i bring because old one was Brocken. Shop = 215 dollars. stay away from this thieves!! 215 dollars for a 1 inch of weld.

The welding work was superb, and they were able to salvage the catalytic converter. Thank you so much for giving my old car more time!

Very upset with my visit here. I came to get an inspection because I was/am new to PA. I already knew my car was a bit rusty underneath so I had a retired mechanic check it out prior to make sure it would pass when I took it in. Well they took 2.5hrs to find every little thing, and they busted my resonator at the flange. It’s like they took a hammer to it to bust it off because they saw a rusty section and figured it was an opportunity to make easy money (especially on a non-local). Well I’m no idiot and I certainly did not bring my car in looking like this. I have already filed proper complaints and plan to take my business elsewhere. I would suggest you do the same. Do not trust them here, they will try to take you for all you have got if they think they can.5/27/19 Update: I fixed the Resonator and E-Brakes myself for a total cost of about $200. A whooping $1400 less than the estimate Meineke gave me. My car cleared inspection at another shop just fine. I received an automated response from Meineke from this post, but no follow up via any other method.

They have friendly and Professional Service men who pay close attention to detail. Some people dont like for the mechanic to point out things that they didnt take their car in for but I am not one of them. Great job guys. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I just went in to get replacement stickers on my windshield after I had it replaced. My inspection was up in May and they asked if I just wanted to do the actual inspection instead.. I said sure! They called when my vehicle was done and told me that I had a nail in my tire and asked if I’d like to have them repair it.. I said yes. A $14 task turned into a $72 task, but it was worth it! They’re prices are great! Scott knew every price off hand when I asked. He was very thorough.

First, they always answer the phone..big plus for me. They seem very efficient and knowledgeable about the issues I spoke to them about with my car. They kept me in the loop and made every step very easy for me. Seems like a great running shop. Only down is that theres not enough space to park but overall a great experience.

Charged me $40 for an air filter that when I looked up using code listed on my invoice is a $19.99 filter from Advance auto parts. I feel that is a bit of an extreme mark up cost.

Dave and Scott did a great job on replacing the exhaust system on my 98 ranger. Custom bent pipes welded to the catalytic converter and the Flowmaster 40 series muffler. Quiet in the cab yet has the low rumble that I wanted.

The owner is great. Scot, the guy you talk to at the desk is great. Dave, the master tech there, is great. I dont think they have ever ripped off anyone,EVER.I would trust them with my car if it exploded and they said they can fix, I believe it. I couldnt afford to have an exploded car fixed. But if I did, I would take it to David and work something out.

I took my Kia Soul there a couple of months ago to get 4 new tires they were done and I left like 3 days later I’m driving oil light comes on the dash board I check car has no oil.I go to auto zone waste 36 dollars on oil to fill it up myself.I find this weird so I call them back since I knew my car had oil.they said that they didn’t know to bring the car in I took it to them they said it was the oil valve that was bad ok well I paid 100 and something dollars got it fix.Now fast forward to now I take my Kia Sorento to get the state inspection it gets done I leave.Now a few days later I’m driving it and guess what oil light comes up I check no oil in the car again I go to auto zone 36 more dollars on oil to fill it up.I call them again same thing they have no clue what’s wrong I call another auto place they even say it’s very weird no reason for that to be going on.Bottom line if you take your car there for anything check your oil after you leave seems like they like to empty it out so you have to go back and get it fixed with them.They are making sure they have return business at any cost even if it means destroying peoples car engines.Now I filled it up with oil again hoping that I caught it in time before the oil valve gets messed up on this car too.You go there and they are all friendly and smiling but behind those smile all there is is deceit to steal your money they are crooked mechanics there so beware.I don’t know if other meinekes are crooked like this one but this one in Paxton sure is.I have complaint to them and they really don’t care so I will have to take my business elsewhere and I will let every one I know that goes there to not go to them for anything.BEWARE!!!!

I have been using Meineke on Paxton St for all my vehicle care for many years. They’re like family, and continue to give me a military discount. I appreciate the convenience of Saturday hours for folks that work during the week. They communicate with me immediately about any issues, as well when vehicle maintenance is complete. I remember the first time I walked through their doors, another loyal customer had remarked to me that he would never take his vehicle anywhere else. Scott & Mark were friendly & accommodating when I scheduled my car for an Oil Change. I dropped my car off on Friday evening so it would be available to them to work in for my early appt on Saturday. Scott notified me of a Parking Light that needed replaced & were happy to complete this while my car was still in their garage yesterday morning. 🙂
