Awesome folks at this dealership. They did not rush us, and my wife and I took our time there. Steve, Troy, and the Internet Sales Manager (I’m so sorry I forgot your name bro) were awesome dudes to work with. Jael in the gear/clothing department was super nice and very cool. I’m glad We worked with her. She definitely knows her stuff! Kevin in parts department was cool to work with too. Overall, we’re very pleased with our experience with this place. Great Customer Service, Very Helpful and Courteous! Hate that the Harker Heights TX/Ft. Hood, Tx iss having to merge with the store in Temple, TX. But, hopefully same people will be working in Temple that was working in Harker Heights, Tx/Ft. Hood, Tx. Nonetheless, our experience was a great experience. We bought parts for our 2009 HD, some HD merchandise and special ordered more parts and the guy offered to ship them to our home in Oklahoma since we wont be home for 4 more weeks due to us being over the road truckers. That was thoughtful and very helpful for us. Plus, they gave us 2 free gifts pricey gifts at that because we bought 750.00 worth of stuff. We want to thank all the employees at this store for everything.

Called in about a part & they put us on hold.... someone picked up & asked if we were still on hold which we were. Then they told us to leave a call back number because everyone was busy. We decided to walk in shortly after & it wasn’t even busy. Only had one other customer & workers were talking together or sitting down not doing anything. So we went up to the first dude & was instantly hit with attitude like we were inconveniencing him. He kept snobbing the computer & smirking at the computer speaking under his breath & getting irritated when we asked him what he said. So overall if he didn’t have such a piss poor attitude it could’ve avoided this negative review.

The entire team was awesome helping me get on my first Harley. Troy got me a great deal on my Honda, find the right bike, and went through the entire buying process with me as most of the team was gone for the holidays. He even went out of his way to get a better seat for my wife! Awesome service.

*Update*My husband went for a ride today. He got about an hour away and it shut off on him. This was the EXACT reason he had to have it towed into this shop on the first place. $2,811 dollars later, it’s not fixed.My husband bought a bike from elsewhere and brought it to this location for a full tune up and to check over the whole bike and fix what needed to be fixed. The main reason he brought it in was to fix everything needed for it to pass the safety inspection. Paid $2,811 total- the day we were supposed to pick it up, I called to make sure it would be ready today and they said oh we have a problem- Harley never sent the clamp. At this point my husband wanted his bike back because he had new bars to put on anyways and the clamp was all they were waiting on, but wouldn’t be done until the following Tuesday. We picked it up, went to take off and there was no gas in it. Thankfully they put gas in. Today my husband realized the horn wasn’t working. Not the shops fault but almost $3,000 to them with the main goal to pass a safety inspection and they couldn’t even check the horn. Awesome.

I have just purchased a 05 Harley Ultra Classic from a private individual, It has been years since my last bike, I took the bike to Horny Toad, spoke with Keith Walker to have a remote programed and to give me a short over view of my bike, I was surprised by the amount of time Keith took with me, even though I did not purchase the bike from HT, he explained everything that I inquired about and more. This is a great experience for me and I want to say thank you to Keith and his team. Also had great experience with parts department to order new keys, sorry I forgot his name, but he was very helpful as well. Thank all of you for your great customer service. I returned a second time, and again Keith took time out of his busy schedule to go over the same things he went over with me before. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

After raving about how much of an awesome experience I had when purchasing my bike at this location, sadly I cannot continue that rave after the purchase of my bike... Well at least today.When trying to call to see if my bike was ready for pick up because I was told that it would be, I was placed on hold for a good 8 minutes before someone popped back on the line to ask if I was still there. The tone in her voice was if to sound like, lord Jesus youre still on the line?! ... When I responded that I was & after being put on hold again for another couple minutes I was told that service was busy and to leave my name and # and will get a call back before end of day.Not trying to be rude I commented that the business was closing in 40 minutes & that if the bike was ready for pick up that Id need time to get there... I was met with, yes we close in 40 minutes, in a not so nice tone. I was then asked for my name so that the associate could walk over and ask... I then waited another 6 minutes for an answer. Not trying to assume but given the tone of voice throughout the call I felt as if the associate purposely kept me on hold because it doesnt take that long to walk from one end of the building to the other & ask if a bike is ready. When the associate hopped back on, again the tone in her voice was very unfriendly when telling me, dear, yah, its not ready.This is just the latest in mishaps at this location.1st was myself ordering parts, dropping my bike off, then being told the following day that the parts werent the right ones2nd my husband ordered his parts after mine were ordered, got his before mine, his parts were installed, come to find out that it was the wrong parts but if they removed the wrong parts, that it will leave damage. As a remedy, the manager approved ordering the right parts (Yay) at no cost to us.3rd while picking up my husbands bike, after that whole debacle mentioned above, before leaving the parking lot my husband found that his breaks werent working (wow) ... where he had to drive it back & have it repaired on the spot.Im not trying to be a Karen but given everything that we have been through thus far in such a short amount of time at this location, it has definitely discouraged me from wanting to refer friends and family here.

Reserving judgement as I’ve only been in here three times but all three times, I have been less than satisfied. Went by on a Saturday to see if I could change a speedometer that I told both a salesperson and the young lady in the back, was a “used speedometer” (70900068A). The young lady at the service counter tells me to come back on Tuesday and they’d have a look. I said ok and left. Stopped by on Tuesday before work with the assumption that I’d get the maintenance done quickly and make it to work by 11:30 (I work in Temple at the VA hospital), I was asked if I could leave it, as there were several appointments in front of me and it would take several hours. I said no, that I was hoping this was a quick fix and I would be on my way in less than an hour; I also told her if I’d known I needed to make an appointment, I would have done that Saturday and would have appreciated it if she would’ve mentioned that. So, with that in mind I decided to make an appointment for the next day, Wednesday. Took my bike in again on Wednesday, got there just before they opened at 10 and waited. Talked to same young lady at about 10 after 10 and I believe the bike went back about 10:30. At about 11:20 I was told that both my speedometers (original on the bike and my “new” one) were hooked up to their computer and it wouldn’t be too much longer and from her words and expression, I thought all was well. Had to call work to let them know I would be a little late. At around 12 or a little after, I saw my bike being driven out and parked outside. So, thought all was good. Well the young lady comes out and says that there is a problem, and then asked me if my “new” speedometer was a used one or previously used on another motorcycle. I told her yes, as I said before, made it a point even, on Saturday and again on Tuesday that it WAS a used speedometer. She then says, Ah, yeah, that’s the problem we’ve been having (didn’t know they were having problems...could have saved them and me 30 minutes to an hour of time), she said since it’s used, that it’s electronically married to another bike, etc and can’t be put on any other. I had heard this but that’s why I brought it to a HD dealer to confirm, again something I mentioned to two people at this dealer. So I am a little upset about the whole situation with the speedo in general but what I’m really upset with this dealer about is the waste of my time and I also felt like a number not a real customer. I understand that they are busy but I would have appreciated the technician/mechanic to come out and explain the situation to me. Not send this young lady, who I’m not saying doesn’t know anything, but didn’t really give me the best explanation about what was going on. So anyway, after giving it some thought over the last few days, I probably will not be going back to this place.

I originally posted a review of one star. The salesperson did not like my review after doing a rider to rider transfer for my bike. I was called back to the dealership with a ruse to sign something. I was asked to change my review because they did in fact help me sell my bike. I was told, you were asked back here because if this and came at me like a bully to change it and asked me later if I changed it to five stars.Well Im changing it back to one star because the salesperson didnt want the low review. I will not be bullied into doing something against my morals. I meant one star, so here it is.....I will never buy another bike from Fort Hood Harley Davidson.

Great dealership with very knowledgeable and personable sales staff (Kevin has a wealth of knowledge and explains it with common sense), a good selection of motor clothes, cleaning supplies, and memorabilia as well as parts and accessories. The service department is quick and efficient. Briana at the service desk was professional and courteous and communicated well with the customer. Their parking lot is hard to get into from the highway side and there is not much parking. Ive also had to wait for two female employees and one male employee to get done their social conversation before I could ask about ordering some parts. They have given me the impression that unless you go there to buy a new bike they arent that interested in helping you.

I recently attended the New Rider Course offered at this location, and when I say my expectations were exceeded I am not exaggerating. The course is truly setup for those like me who has no riding experience, which made it much less intimidating. They create a warm and inviting atmosphere that puts you at ease and fosters your desire to learn. The staff, especially the RiderCoach (Ryan) is the best. He is calm, patient, attentive, and gives great instruction with encouragement or correction when needed. I would definitely recommend this location for all your training and motorcycle needs. Don’t bother with the other locations, even the one on base! I promise you will thank me.And did I mention, they feed you too……

The past 3 times I went in here for parts I got Kevin, the Richard Rawlings impersonator. First time hes shoveling food from a bowl in his mouth at the counter. So I wait standing back from the counter until hes ready. I purchase a part and pay cash. Rich proceeds to struggle with figuring out my change then puts some random coins on the counter that are not even close to the right amount. I guess he doesnt like to count. Second time, hes picking his teeth with his finger so I stand back again until hes done. This time he impatiently waves me forward. I tell him Id like to order a part and hand him a printout with a picture of the part, the name of the part in bold at the top, and the part number. He snaps WHATS THIS? So I had to read it to him. I guess Rich doesnt like to read either. Third time, I come back to pick up the part with the receipt in my hand and Rich is helping someone so I wait...and wait... and wait. In a time span of 15 minutes Rich doesnt once acknowledge Im standing there. No Ill be with you in a minute, no eye contact, nothing. Finally a guy from another department comes over, sees my receipt and asks if Im just picking up, gets my name, and gets the part. Instead of customer service Rich just makes you feel like he hates his job and wishes you would just go away.

I live in San Antonio and came here to buy My Ultra Classic in Nov 2015. Great customer service all around. Have a recall on the bike and service manager called me 3 weeks before it was released to set up an appointment, I wish I was closer so I could get here for service. The office has been super helpful any time I have called. I would definitely recommend this dealer when ever you are looking to get a Harley.

They are also very efficient and have an amazing turn around time when bringing your bike in for service or to be worked on. It started out as a very nice experience, a young lady named Alisyn was helping us and doing an excellent job until another young lady, I believe by the name of Jail, came up and completely interrupted us and proceeded to disregard the presence of Alisyn completely. Great people and great prices. I had trouble with my primary civer, I had hit a pothole and got a small crack on the bottom of it and wasnt going to be able to make the 6 hour trip back North to my house so the guy in the shop came right out took the primary cover off and topped my oil off and gave me a quart to carry with me for free so Id say thats a pretty cool place in my book.

I ride an Ultra Classic and kept having the engine (parade) fan falling off. For the last few years, I probably spent more money on fixing the fan than what I spent on the cost of the fan. Anyways, I spoke with David in the service department and he took care of me. Although his mechanics focus was on the fan, they found and fixed several issues. Great service, excellent communication, and more than happy with the results. This is a customer focused business and highly recommend.

From the very beginning I was very clear that the only way I was going to get a new bike was the ability to have my wife as a passenger. They showed me a bike on the showroom floor ( with a solo seat ) and told me not to worry they can get me a new seat and rear pegs. I agreed with the understanding that they new my requirements. This was on Memorial day weekend. Almost 3 weeks later the seat and pegs came in. The seat best way to describe it was a concrete brick with a piece of leather covering it. And the pegs were not for my bike and didnt fit. I brought the parts back and was told dont worry we will get you taken care of. They exchanged the pegs and found that the only other seat that will fit cost 400 dollars probably why they included a brick for my wife to sit on instead. It is now 6/21 the other seat is still not in and they are not going to take care of me. They will take 15% off a seat that was supposed to be included in the bike purchase. I honestly feel they told me what I wanted to here untill I signed on the dotted line. Now who cares they already have my money and my old motorcycle. I really feel screwed.Update still another week goes by still with no seat. And a severe lack of customer service.6/26 Further update... so I finally got the seat and pegs that was supposed to be included in the bike purchase. The parts manager proceeded to tell me it took so long because he had to get it from New Jersey. However the sealed shipping box with the Fed ex tracking number proved that too was a lie. It was sent from Austin TX 3 days prior. And the deal they settled on was to charge me an additional 100 dollars for a seat that was included in the purchase of the 20k motorcycle. Once again it just proves they dont care about you after you sign the dotted line. They will lie to you over and over again untill you finally go away. Buyer beware I would rather drive to Austin or Waco then give this dealership a single penny of my money.

Customer service is not good. I had a bike that needed an inspection and the tire was borderline. They wouldnt pass it because they wanted to sell a tire, but I took my Harley to Killeen power sports and they passed it because the tire was still good and they were not out to rob me.

I stopped at Ft Hood Horny Toad HD for shirts; I was traveling and wasnt looking for another motorcycle. One of the mechanics asked about my motorcycle and was very friendly (the Sales team is usually friendly at HD shops, but I was impressed that one of the mechanics went out of his way to say Hi).They have a huge selection of the t-shirts I was looking for. The lady handling that dept was very nice and helpful. I was disappointed they had so few size small t-shirts. My son would have loved to have one from here; I guess hell have to wait and get his own when hes older.Ft Hood Horny Toad has a relatively small showroom, but they had a lot of bikes inside and outside. I wasnt looking for a new bike; so I cant comment on their sales team.

I went to Harley Davidson Killeen TX and ordered a 2019 Ultra Limited CVO and had several thousands of dollars of accessories added to the bike. The staff was friendly, especially the clothing folks. The parts counter left a little to be desired, but did ok. The best part of my experience was with the maintenance desk and the mechanic, Dan, who went out of his way to build my bike and assist me with ordering parts and accessories that I would like. I told him how I ride, where I live, and what altitudes and weather I would encounter. He single handedly was the most important point of contact at Harley. He advised me on parts and accessories that I would need, and candidly kept me from spending money on parts I did not need. He built my dream tourer per my specs with all Harley made parts. Dan also went above and beyond in giving me advice on the bike. Thank you Dan, and all the staff that assisted someone like me who is slightly OCD.

Attended the Basic Riders Course at this location. Course is set up for the person who has never riden before. The riding skills portion builds your basic skills one piece at a time. The instructor gives excellent feedback on each exercise which is repeated until all riders have successfully performed the skill. Definitely recommend to others who have never riden before...

Horrible customer service in the shop! We were traveling through and needed an oil change, and were told by lay in srvice department we had a 2 hr wait. The part associate was very nice that sold us the oil. Asked to borrow an oil funnel and the lady at the service department said they did not have one. My hubby cut a water bottle to put oil in. He is the Master Tech at a HD and they never treat travelers that way. Sad, sad customer service experience, and probably fortunate they did not change our oil.

I came upon this review and I was shocked by it. I have been dealing with this dealership for over 10 years and they have been nothing but professional and honest. From motor clothes thru parts and sales and to the guys in service, nothing but straight shooting people. Service department is one of the best in this part of the state. Paul is helpful and seems to actually care. That being said, expect to do all the work yourself. Hes lazy and wont even check a bike for you thats in their lot, instead he gets you to come down and tries to push a sale on you on a bike he doesnt know anything about haha. Craziest thing Ive ever experienced here. Going to Temple from now on. Even if it is an extra 20-30 miles.

A really nice place to stop and shop for nice womens clothing (they even had a super cool purple robe!), mens shirts, jackets, gifts and of course motorcycles!I brought Ghost, my rescued white husky, in with me and the staff loved him! Horrible customer service, if I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I went there for financing on a bike he was interested in. We were told wed be called the next day with an answer. 3 days later they still were refusing to return phone calls so we went in to find out what was going on. We then were asked to provide proof of income so we went home and came back with it and were informed we would be called later that afternoon but assured they could work out a deal. We readily had 2,000.00 down for a used bike. 4 days later they still are refusing to return calls and gave us the rum around anytime we went in to check on our application only to finally a month later receive a letter from their bank saying they denied us a line of credit 2 days prior to the dealership asking for our proof of income. If youre not able to help someone just be upfront and honest dont give people tend run around and act like youre so much better than they are. I highly recommend you take your business to Killeen Power Sports or the Indian dealership at least they will be upfront with you.

This Harley shop rocks from the sales team to parts team to service team. They always greet us at the door with a smile and never pressured us into anything we didnt want. After I had purchased my Streetbob I had the battery die on me.They drove out to my sons soccer field and installed a new battery for me so I could get back on the road that day. I had my bike knocked over which damaged my clutch. I brought it in ready to purchase a new one only to get a call that the sales team wanted me to enjoy my new ride so they had taken care of it for me for no charge. The ladies at the desks helped my fiance and I find the harley gear that fit our style to include protective jackets that wouldnt melt us during the TX summer. If you want to buy a bike ask for Paul because he is the man that will put you on the bike that YOU want and has a process to help you find the bike that YOU want. The parts guys recommended that I save some money and buy a set of exhaust tips that sound good on the street bob rather than buy a whole new exhaust and they were right. I got it back today and I smiled ear to ear all the way down the highway back to work. These guys know what they are talking about and were very patient with an inexperienced guys such as myself. I had a Wide Glide that needed inspection for registration and I took it to this dealer in Killeen. They didnt pass the motorcycle because the front tire was borderline needing replacement. The fact is they were trying to sell a tire and thats a little crooked. I took it down the road to Killeen Power Sports and they passed it (possibly because they didnt have a tire to sell that would fit the bike). Im getting real tired of garbage customer service from these motorcycle shops in the Killeen area. I drove to the Dallas area to buy my new bike because of it.
