Fast and quick service. Answered all my questions. Chris the salesman even took care of something I didnt notice with buying a machine. He advised me that he noticed it was scratched and completely replaced the part with a new one. It was all done and delivered in a very timely fashion.

Finch Service of Hanover and Westminster were recently bought out from another company and there service department is very inadequate and acts like customers are an inconvenience. Although both are an authorized Ariens dealer, the Hanover location reported to be about 3 weeks behind and Westminster does not seem to want business, just 15-20 minutes away and does not return phone calls. Needless to say Harrington Brothers picked up zero turn needing service the same day and about double the distance from these two Finch/Atlantic locations. Sorry Finch, I cant wait a month to get my mower fixed.

So far great place to rent equipment. Got an aerator for the lawn. The staff was friendly, informative and made the process easy. Was in and out and had the aerator on the lawn in less than an hour.

Im a year late getting around to this review. I had my john Deere riding mower less than a year and mid- summer had Finch pick it up for maintenance service. I also requested blades to be sharpened. $175 later Im mowing and can clearly see the blades had not been sharpened. I called them and they offered to pick the mower up again and sharpen the blades. It should have been done while there, not inconveniencing the customer. Lost credibility with me.

We purchased our pellet stove from here in 2015 and had it installed through Finch as well. Every year weve been able to order our pellets with no problems and prompt service. The pellets are also by far the best ones weve ever used and I would never buy pellets anywhere else again.

Finches has parts for all equipment! Ask for Mark... he is helpful and knowlegable too. It helps if you can bring in the make model and serial numbers of the equipment.

Took my chainsaw here because it wasn’t cutting as well as usual. The service guy told me they’d look at it and call me when they figured out what was wrong. I expected a call to receive an estimate and to approve or not of the repairs. I got no such phone call. A week and a half later, they called and told me my chainsaw was repaired and ready for pickup. I never got a call to tell me what was wrong or to ask if I was okay with the fix. They fixed it without my permission and charged me for labor and parts. Do not recommend them unless you like your tools worked on without your permission.

This place does not have a service department. I have bought 2 John Deere lawn tractors from them, and each time they have gone in for service they have taken longer than promised. In the most recent case, I took my X300 in for a minor leak. After 3 weeks it was returned to me in a non-working condition. I took it back, and they have now had it for 4 more weeks and have not even looked at it. I have lost the use of the tractor for the ENTIRE SUMMER.

Took tires from our riding tractor in with new tubes and tires wed purchased over the weekend to get them put on the rims... people was really helpful and courteous...when they called to say they was done after I paid the man carried them out and put them in my van...

My large farm tractor needed work, first they brought the wrong truck to pick it up. Then late in the day they came back and got it. I sent a detailed note with the service person who picked up the tractor as to what needed to be done. 10 days later they called and gave me a quote. I asked if it included everything I wanted done? It did not I asked him to refer to the note I sent, and gave him a few highlights, he called me back with another quote I said Ok.then he called again and said he forgot to add somethings in the quote, by now I just needed it fixed!! They finally returned it only to find out they never did what I asked, some of the hydrolic fittings on the back of the tractor still do not work. Guess Ill fix it my self.

You can usually get the part you need at least by the next day. They need to hire REAL farmers who know equipment tho so you get the right part or at least they know what you need.

Multiple family members have had issues with services in regards to pellet stove installation/maintenance (techs being clueless among other things). Other professionals (from other organizations) show up and fix the issue in minutes. Simple quotes, such as wood pellet prices, appear to be quite the task as a sales rep needs to field the question. Good luck getting someone to answer the phone once forwarded from the secretary via published phone numbers. Pellet stove cleaning was decent, although the tech did charge me twice for an item and almost made it out of the driveway before I noticed it and had it taken off my bill. The cleaning is quite expensive for about a 20-30 min job. Mower blade sharpening is more expensive then just buying new blades. The only reason I think this company is still in business is because they are the only show in town. I did have an ok experience with their equipment rental (still pricey), so I guess you can try your luck with that.
