The Hanover PA location is closing.I have been spending a LOT of time and a LOT of money there since the closeout sale started. The staff has been friendly and helpful until today...(I was unaware of closing at 7 on Saturdays rather than 8) Closing was announced at 6:58... I was last in a long line with a VERY full cart... Hardly anything is priced at this pt, and i like to be told what things ring up before purchasing.My things were rung up in a rush, and I was not told any prices. They were shoved in bags, and I was basically dismissed.Party City receipts do not show final prices, so i had to sit down and calculate 280 items worth of discounted prices to figure out what i paid for each item when i got home...I was only overcharged for a few small things, but 4 items I thought were mere party favors were originally $20 each! That is $12 i unknowingly paid that I would have otherwise put back had I known...Also, since being rushed and pushed off so rudely, I had no time to mention my tax exempt number, which would have saved me another $13.(I cannot imagine the stress of closing a store. I wish the employees well in their future endeavors, but each customer should still be treated with the same respect, 1st or last)Shopping is MY de-stresser, and this checkout experience gave me anxiety. I actually just started ditching items at the end cuz I was too stressed out. Thats not the way I like to shop.

Very cool. Loved the product selection. Very well organized. The staff were very helpful, and friendly.

They have many different themes for parties and celebrations. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable usually. Some prices are great and others not so great unless theyre having a sale. An example would be their plates, cups, and utensils but sometimes I get lucky and theyre buy 1 get 1 free. All in all its great to have a place to be able to go thats specifically made for birthdays and celebrations in our area.

I will say this... Store is closing if you like ANY of the holidays especially Halloween or are planning on getting married anytime soon get in there NOW. Crazy deals my bills today would have pushed 600 bucks I only paid 150

You can find practically anything in this store for whatever theme you could want. I like taking my kids here for a reward on their behavior charts... Let them pick out some of the bulk candies, since its 15 pieces for a dollar.

Have almost everything you need for a party. What they dont have they will get if possible. They have a ton of color coordinating paper goods as well as coordinating to occasions. They have it all.

Ordered party balloons on Monday for my sons birthday today. I grouped all the balloons by how I wanted them placed with the balloon weights I choose. The cashier wrote everything down and tied string around each group. Spent $47. Fast forward to picking them up today: none of the balloons were separated into the balloon weights. In fact the cashier took the balloon weights off and put them on the counter then handed me my order. I showed him that I had actually purchased them and they are supposed to be arranged per my order. He did not offer to fix my order and arrange them correctly. All the strings were so tangled together that I had to cut them just to arrange them myself when I got to the party. Second, my giant #1 balloon deflated by the time I walked to my car. There was a clear hissing sound and a small hole in it. I brought the balloon back in and was given another only to get to my car again for the new balloon to have the same problem of a hole. I went back in again. Told them I think something is wrong with the shipment as this balloon is now flat too. They gave me another replacement #1. By the time I drove away to the party location which is only five miles down the road, the new new #1 balloon was flat, all the blue latex balloons were flat. I’m so irritated and angry that I wasted all this money on horrible quality balloons and service for my sons first birthday. Will definitely never be back to party city again.

Staff helped me find the one spefictic item I had went in for. That was great not to have to search the whole store for a tiny light up ring. He lead me straight to them I bought them all

A lot of selection but also very limited at the same time. Great place for branded party items like Puppy Dog Pals or Pokemon but just a bit pricey for more generic party supplies.

Have a decent selection of items. Never a line or anything. Parking is easy, though there isnt anything right in front of the store the way the parking lot is designed.

This location is closing and currently having a blowout sale. The employees were friendly yesterday though I assume there is a fair amount of uneasiness knowing your job is coming to a close; hope they all get transferred and get to keep their jobs. #partycityblowout

Preordered and paid for balloons to be picked up at 1030am on Sunday for a birthday party. When I arrived for pick up they were just starting to blow them up. Apparently some of their workers called in sick which made more work for fewer people! My wife had requested that the balloons be separated and sorted but they were just a large mixed bunch. Its a shame that they dont have reliable employees...

Party city is okay. Some of the items are to pricey. One specific item is fillong up the balloons with air it costs $1.00 (US) for each, the packs come in 24 balloons so it would be $24 (US) for only one pack of ballons!
