Rented an office space for the day to work on my dissertation and enjoyed both breakfast and lunch. Coffee and meals were great and the aesthetic is pretty rad too. Highly recommended!

Their first is over in Scituate Harbor. They have a huge monitor on the wall showing a live feed of Scituate Harbor from other store. The food is fresh and they make terrific hot sandwiches. Its located in Merchants Row and is right off of Rt 53 in Hanover. Its one of my favorites when I want to get a quick lunch or breakfast. They arent open at night.

I just got home with my order ( 15 mins)Brown slimy avocado. A simple google search tells you how to keep it from browning, simple lime and sealed in refrigerator. I expect more freshness from restaurants like this, had to throw away afraid of possible food poisoning. What a waste!

If I lived closer, starbucks would never see me again! The coffee here is excellent! Most places that offer a variety of flavors dont deliver on coffee strength, but lucky finn is the best of both worlds! Flavors I would never see anywhere else and perfect taste! Loved the atmosphere even though I didn’t sit in, it was very warm and friendly. I could tell the staff was working like crazy and they were all still very helpful and kind. I will definitely be trying food on my next visit. See you soon!

May, 2020Im a fan.Lucky Finn is a locally-owned business, currently w/two locations - Hanover & Scituate. The Scituate location is literally right on the ocean and has outdoor seating and ridiculous lobster rolls made with local catch. It is beautiful. The Hanover location lacks the view that Scituate has, but its convenient to the highway, has a beautiful interior and a *massive* flatscreen - and I do mean *massive* that is always showing the view of Scituate harbor as seen from the deck of their sister restaurant. The Hanover restaurant also has some outdoor seating - with more to come - which, during the pandemic, gives one the option of picking up a sandwich or a bowl and then sitting a social distance away in the sun. Nice.Everything Ive had here has been solid, and their portions are ample enough that I only eat half of what I ordered and take the other half home. The picture Ive attached is of their Tuna Melt w/avocado on sourdough bread. Its good, but not as good as the breakfast sandwich I had on their everything bagel. That was money.Important to note that LF does a really good job hiring the right people for their customer-facing roles. Every time Ive visited, the staff has been friendly, smiling, happy, hard-working, and eager to please. They are a pleasure to interact with.If youre in the area of either locale, Id suggest giving them a try.Oh, and they have good coffee, too .

Ive only been a couple of times so far, but have enjoyed everything to this point. Today I got the Scituate Fog and loved it. I love the atmosphere, the big screen of Scituate Harbor, and the location. Looking forward to returning with my wife to try a couple of the bowls. I may also soon sign out a work space for my forth-coming dissertation. Will update the review after these experiences, but I at least wanted to say, Great! to this point and happy to support local businesses. Thanks.UPDATE: We went to try a couple of the bowls to go for my wifes birthday yesterday. My pan Asian bowl was pretty good. Other reviews are correct about the small portion size, but I didnt mind as it was lunch and the chicken was actually a pretty good amount (and pretty tasty). But my wifes Farm-n-Field bowl wasnt great. The flavor just wasnt there. We were actually wondering if maybe the Fuji-Apple drizzle never made it on the bowl. The concepts of these bowls are great and we will try again another time.SECOND UPDATE: Back to five stars.I tried out a private work room today. It was wonderful. For me, working within the busyness of the cafe and yet undistracted in a private room is a great environment for productivity. Also, my wife came for a brief lunch visit and we tried two more different bowls than our last visit. They were excellent this time around. Im thinking last time was just an off day. She had an acai bowl that she loved and I devoured the border bowl. So good. Two notes on the room rental:1. Id think that for $25 for a four hour block, a cafe might offer unlimited tea or coffee.2. It may not really be four hours like the website says, so be careful as you consider which block to book. Mine was actually 11:00 - 2:15.

I’ll start off this review with a brief disclosure, I’m being brutally honest and you’ll need to read all of it to get my summarized opinion. The food and drinks? Absolutely fantastic.I don’t believe I’ve ever tasted such a fresh Mediterranean Bowl, and the “Minot” was excellent. The matcha actually tasted premium, just as it was advertised. The service? That’s where they’ll need some work. The food was served politely and promptly. The drinks took quite a long time, and it was never really clear when our order was ready. We had to ask a few times, and it seemed like we were bothering the server. Granted it was a busy morning, though a business needs to be able to properly adjust their operation to account for higher volume. Here’s the part I might be judged for, but like I mentioned, it’s a brutally honest review.I’ve been to many different types of neighborhoods, and the overall experience should never feel this pretentious. I understand the surrounding neighborhood might be upper class, from what I was witnessing, but the same “feel” was behind the counter. I say this because I didn’t feel like we were customers, it felt more like they were doing us the favor of allowing us to be in line.My suggestion?Smile more, interact with the customers in a more individually social style. Your business is clearly doing well, and I think it would do even better if you added this last, easily attainable detail. That’s the only reason I’ve rated 4 instead of 5 stars.

This place is great. The interior design is modern, the music is nice, and the service is really great and super friendly. I loved the idea of the screen showing live view from the Scituate harbor, very clever and it adds a special touch to the place. The food is delicious. Great place, a great second location with a new experience.

This is a comfortable place to have some coffee and breakfast. The Hawaiian breakfast sandwich was delicious, actually all their bagels are delicious. With a variety of seating options, plenty of space to hang out and eat. Looks like there is office space to rent out as well, by reservation. I would come back.

You must try the maple honey cinnamon latte. I get it with oatmilk, and it is SO good iced or hot. Ive also tried their Med bowl, and egg sandwiches, both of which were tasty. They also sell the best energy bites (AMG Snacks) when were on the go and need something quick to eat in the car. Customer service is top notch. Weve been welcomed with a friendly smile and small conversation every time. Highly recommend for your caffeine needs :)

Very disappointed today, Ordered The Thing. small bits of chicken, didnt even cover the sandwich, only a couple of red peppers, no flavor. If I didnt add cheddar it would have been to dry to eat. I should have know it wasnt going to be good when the lady threw my order on the counter. I have heard so many good things. Hoping it was an off day today!!

So today I got a few drinks at the Hanover Location that I was not satisfied with, so I politely called and asked for a refund. When I was on the phone, the manager asked me if my “taste buds are off” and said “is it even worth you time to come back for the refund?”. I felt these things were extremely rude to say, and they could’ve handled the situation much differently. They should not be saying such things as they do not know ones financial situation... do not go here.

The girl that took my order was less than personable. After placing my order, my children and I went to a store next-door while waiting for our food. When we came back, I asked if the bag sitting on thre counter was for Laura. She responded if it says Laura and handed me the bag. When we got home and unpacked our food, it was the wrong order. I called Lucky Finn to inform them of this and their response was do you want to come back or get a refund. No apology. Will not return.

I havent been to the scituate lucky Finn but Ive wanted to go for a while! I finally brought myself to the hanover location after a long day out, and I ordered online for a curbside pickup. Our order came out within really good timing, and it was a very easy process! Its super helpful when businesses offer curbside pickup during this time, so Im thankful for that!As for the food - we only got one item off the entire menu, so I can only review the border bowl. It is a good portion, feels like a burrito bowl from chipotle. The chicken in it almost tastes like a frozen package of chicken that you microwave? If that makes sense. And Ive had many ranges of chicken from different restaurants, but this definitely has the chewy, gummy texture I couldnt seem to finish. Everything else was okay! Decent, but it definitely doesnt seem worth it to come back because of the price that comes out to around $10.50 for one bowl. You could save money by going to chipotle for a chicken bowl, if thats what you are going for.. I would try their other items but a most of their food is expensive and seeing how they probably use the same ingredients and I already havent been to satisfied, I wont go back for a bit.Other than the bowl review, the girl who ran out to my car to give us our order I appreciate! She was friendly and we had no issues with our order.

A few conflicting things ....Since the pandemic, I have looked for local places to take out for breakfast/lunch, and loved the Scituate location since it opened. I was happy that one opened up in Hanover closer to wear I live! The food is good, the drinks are unique and customisable, and it’s a good break from typical fast food cafes. I have visited the hanover location at least once a week since the beginning of the pandemic. My favourites are the cold brew and the nutty honey sandwich. However, the last two times I have tried to visit, I could not go in. This is because it has been PACKED with people, all with their masks off. I would love to go in and order a drink and some food, but I do not wish to subject myself to potential covid exposure. There are hardly any barriers and no such social distancing from what i’ve seen. People with their masks off right in front of the line to order drinks and in front of the drink counter. I have instead gone to other cafes with much cleaner experiences at each one, all without in-house dining.I would recommend Lucky Finn, but probably won’t be coming back until the pandemic has settled and I feel safer visiting a place where there are clusters of maskless people.TLDR; Good food and drink, unfortunate lack of covid preventions with little to no limit on in house maskless dining.
