Its a very clean and quiet store. Not a lot of selection but I found what I was looking for.

Havent been here in years but needed shoes for a wedding and found a great pair. When they rang up they were on sale.

I have to brag a little about the hair salon here. I actually didnt know they even cut hair here but ran into a friend who recommended it. Andrea was my stylist and she did amazing. Fun to talk to and did an amazing job. When she walked my hair she massaged my scalp. It was awesome!!! Prices were great and Ill definitely be back. Thanks Andrea, you made a customer for life!!!3

Too expensive! Its not the same as it used to be in the 19th century! Prices went up quality got low different atmosphere! Theres just nothing else to say about this iconic department store that has survived two centuries!

I went in to JCPenney to go in another department store. JCPenney is a great place to shop from clothes, bedding and appliances. The store is clean the employees are very helpful. No hassle return policy. Oh, dont forget the shoe department they have a variety of styles. Dont forget to use your coupons. I recommend this place to family and friends.

Pennys has the best husky jeans for my son and plus size childrens clothes for my granddaughter. And skinny jeans for my other son. Nice clothes. But, definitely wait for sales. When they have sales, they are good. Otherwise, the prices are pretty high.I got very frustrated waiting for someone to open the fitting room. We asked the customer service desk to get someone. She called. We waited 20+ minutes. Had to ask again. Still no one. We asked AGAIN and finally the customer service clerk used her key and opened the door for us.Security was not good. No one checked the clothes we brought in, or brought out of the fitting room. Good thing we are honest.

First time visiting the store i couldnt find some help

Prices one the item are lower than what they tried to charge me, literally took 2 hours to get my item for what the sale price is Customer service at register terrible in Hanford!!!

Just trying to find some nice guys earrings and the lady was very rude acting like we couldn’t afford them and told us to come back when there was a sale. We can easily afford any of those earrings just thought it was very rude to act like that and come off that way towards a paying costumer.

They is the only store that I have been to that doesnt have more variety in the big & tall section of clothes for me. I was really disappointed because I was told by in a employee to check online for what ever I was looking for.

Not the same store anymore, stopped carrying alot of products that I use to buy and always looks like they are about to close at any minute..the pride in they use to take in appearance of their store is going down hill

For years now, Ive shopped at Penneys and always loved it. Unfortunately like many dept. stores who have now closed, I feel this will be the fate of Penneys as well. The shelves are cluttered and unorganized. The staff are friendly, however, its difficult to find a salesperson to give one to one service. Its obvious the store is operating with a skeleton crew.Bottom line is that Penneys is no longer the fine department store as it used to be and thats a shame.

I love jc penny, akways haved. There clothes are nice, but everyone has there own style, and price they look for.

The salon made my sister feel discriminated they asked for her age and looked her up and down and they still didn’t believe her. I will never recommend any family members or friends to the Hanford JcPenny. THEY ARE RUDE.

I dont go here much now that Sephora is open. Its a huge wall inside of the store that you have to walk around and it made the store feel more cluttered, since they dont have anywhere to put merchandise. The lights that light up the huge obstruction make it hot inside the store. I have not even noticed an increased in for traffic since the opening.

Very clean and not too much of a wait at check out. They have my sons size of pants in stock which is hard to find in Hanford. The changing rooms are clean. A lot of people travel from Visalia to Hanford because of how well it is managed.

Cashier was very helpful and patient. Selection needs taller sizes for slim men.

The store had just opened and although I came across many employees no one greeted me. I stood at the register while about 4 employees nearby complained about the assigned employee wasnt there without any aknowlegemnt or hey, be with you in a bit. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that the o one had access other than the late employee. Then, behold 1 of the 4 ladies helped me. She was annoyed the whole time and there was that lalala awkward silence.

Was a mess and the mens shoe department was really sad need more help in that area

It hard to buy anything from JC Penney, because there so few of stores that are still open. Cant return if you give someone a gift.
