There warranty is no good, I done a lot of business with them.my cover that I brought from them they wouldnt warranty because it didnt rip on the seam.then they told me my warranty was few days over the year,but couldnt bring it in because they werent open because of storm ida.you would think if a person come do all there business with you,you would get better service.I was told the bike cover is not cover by wind damage.

Jay sold me my dream bike. A 2021 Street Bob 114. I could not be happier with my new bike and the folks at Hammond Harley-Davidson were awesome to deal with. What a pleasant experience!

Just went to store this morning to see about a new battery for my bike. I asked about battery because its only a year old. Parts guys looked up my purchase date and told me that I was eleven days late for warranty consideration. I wasnt expecting a new battery, just some kind of adjustment or discount for a new battery. Again, all I was told was that I was eleven days late. I was not asked if I needed a new battery. Parts guys just turned away from me and started talking to each other. At the time there was ONE other customer in the entire store that I could see. I have had new tires installed on my bike at this shop, numerous services also. Looks like this was my last visit even though its time for a new bike too. Customer service? Whats that?

I cant recommend this place enough. Im a new rider and J helped me figure out what I wanted out of my ride. He really cared for the experience and culture of it all and his passion showed in how he walked me through my bike. I think all beginners should go in and start their bike life at this HD. These guys are legit.

My first Harley and it been nothing but bad experience with service problems. Had break issue twice under warranty and it took over month to fix and when I get bike back it’s missing a foot peg and they don’t know why. Brought lights there and installed there and they been nothing but trouble and I been telling them since day 1 and nothing done about it. Worse service department I had deal with!! They don’t care after you buy the bike. They just want to make a sale!

Bought my first Harley last Friday. Great staff, very knowledgeable and welcoming....will be back soon for our second.

Dana was extremely helpful and very easy to work with. He went out of his way to insure that I received the correct fit of the parts I ordered. The lady who helped me was awesome as well as the others in the store without following u around. However I grabbed the wrong size t-shirts and she clearly said that they cannot be returned. Of course I’m a see if she will allow me to just switch sizes? We shall see! I’ll let you know.I also love one of the bikes I really want it but I have no idea how to operate it!

The salesman Gary was amazing at explaining and showing the vehicle to me. The owner Billie was extremely into helping me learn all the things about my new bike. After my last visit in this Dealership 10/07/2020. I dont believe Ill be returning. Place has been going downhill for quite some time. Looks like a Ghost town. Not the same place I first walked in to purchase my bike in 2018. Use to be a family like atmosphere Bike Nights and events that make it welcoming. All the friendly people that was once there have quit.

Yesterday I called and spoke to Gary about a 2014 Softail Deluxe listed for $11,499. He advised that someone else was trying to finance the bike and he would let me know if that deal fell through. Received a call later in the day from Gary letting me know the bike was now available for purchase and I was next in line. I told him I had a bike to trade in and would be purchasing the Softail cash and would be by within 2 hours. I received another call from Gary stating that the bike was not ready to be released because it needed to be prepped and his service man was out for several days and Gary would call me when the bike was ready. He called this morning and let me know that the bike was serviced and ready to go but that someone else might be by with a check even though I was told I was next in line. Gary also let me know that the bike had been priced incorrectly and was underpriced $2500 but he was told by the financial manager that he could honor the $11,499 for me or the other person. After telling Gary I would be by in an hour I realized it would be closer to 2 hours so I called and spoke to Robbie the sales manager to let him know and he said that would be fine. Robbie called me back a few minutes later to advise that they would not honor the $11,499 price that had been advertised online for several days but would now raise the price and I would have to pay the higher price. I told Robbie that they had just lost my business and he was ok with that.I cannot recommend this dealer to anyone because of the inconsistencies in what they say and what they do. I am very disappointed in their business practice and attitude.

What can I say???? These guys are the absolute best!!! Bill and Jeff (Service) and their staff went over and above anything i could have asked for today. Not to forget Gage in parts! I highly recommend this dealership!

The service here is awesome! I never have an issue with any of the guys in parts or service. Theyre always on top of their game! And in merchandise the girls are always happy and ready to help me find what I need. Christen is always there and keeps everything real with you when you need to know what would be a good look for a shirt, jacket or helmet. She has helped me pick out gifts and my own gear and Im never disappointed with her suggestions!

Great personnel. We are from Colorado Springs and travel the US working. We stop at all the Harley shops along the way, but this is my favorite shop. The girls in the clothing dept. are great. They have awesome personalities and attitudes. The guys on the floor were friendly and helpful. Not pushy at all.

Laurie has done a Very Good Job helping me with the parts i need as Im doing some custom work on my new 2018 Breakout. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She is a Great Asset to your Dealership.

I am from Hammond, In, me and my were in your store Sunday and the ladies in clothing dept were very helpful and nice. After we got home my wife realized she bought wrong size shirt and we couldnt find it on the stores website. I called and talked to one of the ladies in the clothing dept and they very helpful in assisting me with a purchase over the phone.

Im a Canadian down for a visit to New Orleans area and over to Texas.I called the Dealer and asked if I could park my truck and trailer there for about 2 weeks. They agreed to do so with no cost. When I was there I had my bike washed and bought a new windshield and my friend had his oils changed at the same time. The service was no less than perfect and the guy in the parts department that looks like a Rock Star did a great job of making sure I got what I wanted. For sure I give this place a 5 star.Thanks again for helping us out. Until next time.

What a nice place to go to, friendly service, and great people. I like how John explained what he did with my brothers bike, and I liked how dragon called to update him every step of the way. That’s quality service right there!

They close at 6pm during the week. I called and said I was coming. I didnt get there until 615pm. It was after 7pm by the time we got done with the paperwork. The staff was excellent. They didnt rush us.

Just bought my second Harley in 2017 from Hammond Harley. Sales is second to none. Woody will help, and inform you of everything. Unfortunately, The finance man can’t be trusted. He pulled a fast one on me that cost over 3k. Verbally quoted my trade in, went over figures on a work sheet and all looks good. Signed papers of what I believed we just went over and discussed. But, later at home I went over the the paperwork and it’s not the same figures we had agreed to. I discovered that he added the payoff of my trade into my loan that Hammond Harley suppose to had paid. I was only credited partial of what he said they would pay as trade in. Also, added shop fee that were never discussed. There is no way I would had agreed to give them my bike for 3k less than trade in value. Bottom line, Sadly I have buyers remorse buying that bike there. All I wanted was a great bike and a fair deal. Seems like they would rather make 3k on selling me motorcycles, accessories and shirts. I’ve spent thousands there. Anyways, Very disappointed in Hammond Harley. The sales manager did follow up on my review and said he would look into it, but all he wanted to do is argue. Bottom line, these people are crooked and can’t be trusted. Sad Sad. I liked doing business there. Hope they enjoy the 3k. I will be doing business in Lafayette or Bruno’s.

I unfortunately had some issues while s run. They got me in, out and on the road in roughly an hour for a very reasonable price. Great folks.

Needed tires so I e-mailed the service department. Rance was quick to respond and got me set up with a free install with purchase of tires from Hammond HD.I mentioned a problem with the security system not recognizing the fob unless you held it against the fairing. Problem was diagnosed quickly (pinched wire inside the fairing) and fixed at no cost to myself.Service with a smile and, a Little Lagniappe.

I live in Virginia and was there a couple years ago love the staff and showroom. I placed a order the other day from a staff member name Trudy she was my Santa elf for my husband for Christmas she was the best very helpful to me . You rock Trudy ! Merry Christmas from Sue in Virginia.

I took my 2006 Street Bob in for a fuel leak at my petcock valve. My husband got a phone call from the service department telling him what all needed to be done because of a safety inspection they had done. My husband told them that he knew it needed some things done but all we needed right now was for them to fix my fuel leak, it was suggested by the service dept. that we flush the tank or replace the tank because it had trash in it. My husband told them he didnt want to do any of that, we just needed the leak fixed. We received a voicemail that my bike was ready and to call before we came to pick it up. I called on a Friday to inform the service department Id be in on Saturday or Sunday to get my bike, I even gave them my name so they could identify me by my ticket. We rode my husbands bike 85 miles to pick up my bike. When we went into the service department to let them know that we were there to get my bike, the guy at the service counter asked if we had been told to bring a trailer. We asked why would we need a trailer. We were then told that the tech had not cranked the bike after the the needed parts were replaced, which was a fuel line inside the tank, fuel filter and the petcock valve. The valve wouldnt leak unless the bike is running, so we asked them how they know its fixed if it hadnt been cranked. We had drained the fuel from the tank before it was taken in to the dealership. I asked the guy at the counter was there any gas in it, he said I think I heard some sloshing in the tank so I asked if they had put gas in it because we brought it in empty. Well after a flashlight was gotten from behind the counter, it was discovered there wasnt any gas in the tank. After further inspection from my husband, he discovered RUST in the tank! NOT ONCE during any phone calls to or from the service department did anyone mention anything about rust in my tank!! So we are headed back today to make another 85 mile trip, one way, to TRAILER my bike out of this service department!! HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION on their part! WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT due this experience. This was our first and last time to use Hammond Harley Davidson service department!! We also asked to speak with John who is the service dept. manager and after about 20 minutes, we still had not seen him. We never did see him up until the point we left the dealership.

Terrible service department. I ordered a part for my bike and it took weeks to get an appointment to have the part installed. I was asked to drop my bike off early if I could in case they could get to it early. When I dropped it off the service writer said they would be able to do the job in one day and after I signed the paperwork he told me they would get to it in four or five days. When they finished the last job the bike sat for 2 days before the tech test rode it. I know it was done because the service writer showed it to me sitting there finished. I called and stopped in couple of times and got the run around about when it would be completed. These guys will tell you one thing on the phone and then something else after they have your bike. Every time they have worked on my bike there has been an extra charge that they forgot to tell me about when I dropped it off. The service manager is rude and bad mouths employees in front of customers. I will not be doing business there any more. Their bike sales practices are even worse. The finance manager Steve will tell you one thing and then put something else on paper. Trying to buy a bike there felt like a shady used car lot. I walked away from the deal and I cannot in good conscience recommend Hammond Harley to anyone. I posted a review to Hammond Harleys website and it was removed. I have talked to more than one manager about the way they do business and it seems to fall on deaf ears.

At least 3 times a month either my husband and I are in the store and we always love the atmosphere. But my particular favorite place is motor clothes and with the very helpful/product knowledgeable Christen Harper in this department it always makes me want to come back knowing I will have a good experience dealing with her.

Merchandising team always goes above and beyond to provide assistance and is knowledgeable about our individual preferences.

Of all the Harley dealers we have ever been too this is my favorite!a. I had my bike in the shop for the reverse motor and the fuel gauge. Although Im sure it was very frustrating for the mechanics and service staff they continued working hard to figure out the problems with my bike and get it fixed. I love Hammond Harley!

I took the motorcycle class they offer to get my insurance rates down, which they waive the fees for all active and separated military personnel as well as all first responders, and the level of knowledge and experience the instructors had and were able to pass onto us was astounding. Would have been worth the money by far. The staff was also amazing. I would and have recommended this class to everyone. They didnt even make too much fun of me for driving a honda lol.

I strongly recommend Hammond HD sales department. Brian is as honest and straight forward as they come. I purchased a bike from them over a couple other nearby dealers because they gave me a price out the door with financing within 30 minutes of our conversation. Honesty and integrity are two qualities I look for in anyone and everyone I dealt with at this dealership proves to be just that. It took me about 12 months to decide on buying a Harley Davison. My first stop was the Hammond store. I visited many others but kept coming back to the Hammond store. John sold me my trike, I was never once pressured to make a quick decision. I visited and spoke to him at least 10 times before buying and was always put first because he wanted ME to be happy about my decision. I cannot say the same about the Slidell, New Orleans, Houma or Lake Charles stores. Once I made my purchase, Dragon, Dana and Laurie spent about a half of day helping me get the look I wanted for my Harley. The LADIES in the clothing department are the best! They have become friends of my wife and I. I spend a lot of money in the Hammond store because I want to support not only my local dealer but the best people in the retail business. I will put that staff against any in the country!

I looked at bikes outside for 25 minutes and no one ever asked if I needed help. Went in the store and browsed around, no one acknowledged me by saying hello or ask if they could help me with anything. The greeter at the door never spoke are welcomed me into the store. Its been a while since I visited the store, but never had this experience in the past.

I found a bike I like... the only problem I had was they sold a service contract I could not use because I live 4 hours away in Alabama. I give them a 1 star.

Coming into the riders edge class i was uncomfortable and afraid and right off the back Kael put me at ease, my coach Al and Mr Clint were the most helpful and down to earth people i have ever met, as soon as i finished the class i bought my first bike . I highly recommend the staff at Hammond Harley Davidson especially Erick and Blaine that made my buying process streamlined. Im glad to be a member of the HHD family now.

I am a retired military officer, a H.O.G. member & recently moved to Covington LA. My 2002 Road King Police started running rough & would not idle. I called this dealership to get it towed in for repair only to be told they do not work on bikes over 10 years old. Unbelievably, the manager, Dragon, recommended some local motorcycle shop. Ive never in my life been turned away from a certified Harley Davidson dealership. I guess H.O.G. membership and Harley Davidson loyalty mean nothing to this location. I also notice several pre-owned Harleys for sale on their website that are more than 10 years old. I dont recommend anyone purchase any of those bikes because youre not going to get help from the dealership. Quite disappointing.The store manager, Kael Wilson, contacted me immediately after I posted this review to tell me his staff completely mishandled me as a customer particularly in a time of need. While I appreciate Mr Wilsons apologies, I already had my H.O.G. Roadside Assistance energized with help on the way and Mike Brunos HD dealership waiting to receive my bike.

Sold me a bike with no front brakes failed abs. failed to disclose that info now they wont take it back. incompetent staff. The owner Jay is conveniently always in a meeting and ducking my calls Ive made multiple attempts. You want me to bring a bike back to the same mechanics that sold it to me with faulty Brakes in the first place is just absolutely ridiculous. Its too late anyway the Harley in Slidell took the bike and bent over backwards and even lost a little bit of money on their end to get me out of the financial nightmare that yall put me in because they felt bad about the way I was done. Im a disabled vet with issues and cant be locked in an office for too long without my anxiety going through the roof and the way your salesman just seem to push papers and say Sign Here sign here really took advantage of that. My final payoff on a bike yall were selling for 13 Grand would have been 22k. The brakes going out were just a bonus I guess dont know how yall sleep at night

My husband and I were trying to decide if we wanted a Harley or a Ducati. So we stopped by Hammond Harley Davidson to check out a few bikes. The two guys that originally helped us were super nice and helpful. They answered all of our questions and were really making us want to join the Harley community.Unfortunately, once store/sales manager got involved it went all down hill from there. He came out super agressive and said that if he could sell it to us today would we buy it and my husband said we would like to think about it an he just walked away.... like what?! We have never been treated so horribly.I would suggest to anyone not sure if they want a Harley to NOT go to this location.Thanks for helping us decide that taking our business to TTRNO is what we should do so easy.
