This is a great store that has what you need for gardening, and if you cant find it they will get it.One time I sent my son-in-law to pick up bags of gardening dirt and he didnt read the pickup order and came home with only 2 not 6. They quickly resolved the problem without attitude or a runaround and I got the remaining bags without issue. This wouldnt have happened at other stores! Thanks Ace!

Great store with great customer service. Had my chipped keys for my ford cut here and he threw in a free door key and didnt charge me for the other two. Now if thats not outstanding then I dont know what is. Id highly recommend this store to anyone in and around the valley.

The selection is vast enough that you will more than likely find what youre looking for and definitly find things you didnt know you needed. The friendly staff is always ready to help you track down what you need. They have a great location here in Hamilton, but could probably use some more parking spots.

They have items most people are looking for, great customer service, and above all dedicated employees. If they dont have what youre looking for, one of the associates is sure to help you find a comparable option

Always looking for a reason to go to Ace in Hamilton. Love my girls there, the only reasons I made it through the quarantine! Have a little bit of everything and their paint center is stocked with whatever you could need.

From the moment I walked in, an old man who worked here was extremely rude. When I asked him to point in the direction of socket wrenches he told me he was too busy to help me. The only thing that saved this store is that the woman behind the counter was extremely kind. She noticed how he treated me and quickly got someone else to help me. Whats interesting is this guy is obviously sexist. When a man asked him for help and he said that he was busy he quickly found someone to help him. He needs to work on his customer service.Update: The owner reached out right away after reading my review. Clearly Hamilton cant be all bad and neither can this Ace if he cares enough to reach out. I amend my review to four stars.

They have almost everything you need in hardware supplies. Lost one star for high prices.

Went to ace in Hamilton Mt got there at 5:00 pm to buy weed trimmer and store was closing. Store hours have changed due to Covid-19 they say. So I drove to Missoula to Home Depot and spent over $300.00 on new trimmer and other stuff. There loss not staying open at least back to there old hours.

My experience at the Evans Ace Hardware in Hamilton MT today was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had anywhere. Many of the staff especially the cashiers in the yard and garden department appear to be teenagers and they act it. The young male clerk who waited on me today made a loud offensive remark directed at me that I would not expect from a 10 year old. Another sales clerk nearby who also appeared to be a teenager began laughing at the cashier’s comment. I was embarrassed and as I left the store I began to feel a sense of outrage at this behavior. On 2 other occasions this summer I had similar experiences with young rude sales clerks at Evans Ace Hardware. I am taking my business elsewhere.

In spite of large sign on front door that Masks are Mandatory. They dont enforce and so many were walking right past sign without a mask, I didnt go in. I spend my money where I feel safe.

Hit or miss. They probably have what you need, but its out of stock. Half the times I come here to get something, I find where its supposed to be but theyre out. Today it seemed like half the shelves/racks were empty.Have also had issues with the Ace-brand garden implements Ive bought (which are usually the cheapest) breaking or bending quite quickly/easily after purchase. You get what you pay for.

Always impressed with how friendly and honest the staff is at Evans Ace Hardware. I never feel overwhelmed and they make me feel comfortable in reaching out and asking for advice and support.

The cashier that waited on us in the main store today seemed to have left all of her customer service skills at home. She only spoke to us about the price we owed and neglected to thank us when we were through. I thanked her on the way out and then she responded with a have a nice day as she jumped on her phone. I shop at Ace alot and didnt appreciate her lack of customer service.

Things were great before they moved everything, now you have to look for items instead of being able to walk to the part. Silly really. The people there now are not as nice as the others before them as well. Other than the old man, he knows where everything is while the others have a blank look on their face. Overall....4 stars

Managers are extremly rude dont buy traeger grills from this store they wont service it past warrenty and they are they only service location in the valley. When i called they tried to say it would be criminal to charge 45/hour to repair the grills. These grills cost 500-1200 dollars and the parts for it are roughly 60$ for the motor and 1 dollar for the fuse. They will refuse to sell you parts as was the case with myself. The total repair cost would have only been 120 dollars roughly including labor and parts.... But i can buy a 500-1200 dollar grill cheaper right?

Theyre pretty good size hardware store they have a decent selection for being in a small town. Largest selection be nice and a larger parking lot for sure. The parking lot is tiny people pull in to pull out and its just an accident waiting to happen

The guys in the Stihl department are beyond awesome. We are so impressed with their help, expertise and courtesy. You guys are the best of the best. Never have we had anything but the greatest of service. And we love that you have a kitty cat or two for added entertainment. Keep on keepin on.

This hardware store has everything that you are looking for and an abundant, helpful staff to help you find it. Ive never been here and not walked out with exactly what I came for. There is also a friendly cat roaming the store, who on my last visit, was sleeping at the register. Easy five stars on this one.

If they dont have it they will bring out the books to find it for you. They are always just. Its my place to go to. And they care about remembering your birthdays , in advanced which gives you time to dicide just what you might want for your birthday. They have a great home combination to be able to get what you want and need. And their employees are more than able and happy to see that you are satisfied when you leave.

Its a small town, locally owned hardware store. Prices are higher than some other places, but thats to be expected. They dont sell dimensional lumber & when we asked, we were told we had to drive to Darby & *maybe* wed find a place that sold it. We needed two 2x12s to level a travel trailer. There is a lumber store or two at the opposite end of town that had exactly what we needed. No excuse for the locals to not know that. They also didnt carry blanks for two out of the tree keys I needed copied. I wont be back, not a good first impression.

I bought a Danco ez connect pop up drain and the Ace s trap kit for a sink drain. I have spent over an hour trying to stop the leaks from every connect spot. First thing you should know is I just did the exact same thing at my work but with Massa home center items and it took 15 minutes and had no leaks. The ez connect rod to plug the sink is connected to a rubber piece which will pop out when you pull to much but doesnt even plug the sink it pops back up. Every other one is metal all the way thru. I have had problems with Ace items before and am sick of buying parts that you have to replace over and over again.

Always end up at Ace if I cant find what I am looking for or cant wait for an item to arrive either UPS or thru the US Mail

We were trying to locate a very difficult part that our property manager was unable to find. There was an employee in his late 50s who spent a great deal of time working with us to match up couplers and hoses. It was so refreshing to see someone that enthusiastic about solving the problem. Other places we visited said it couldnt be done.

I am always thankful to be able to use those little coupons to save money. Thank you so much.
