I cant imagine anything bad you could say about this place if you know anything about HAM radio. If youre looking for a PS5 or a tablet though, youve got the wrong place.

Found the radio I wanted and hed it in just 3 days. The packing was great, enough to make the radio safe but not to much to trash my house.I messaged them a couple times for general information and got an answer right away.I prefer to deal with brick and mortar shops especially locally owned. Much better then going through Amazon where the seller is just a name on a computer. I asked some of the people in my ham club about R & L and all highly recommended them.I am lucky that I live in Ohio, when all this C9 stuff is over nd the store is back open for walk in shopping I look forward to visiting them and having a look around.

They have a good staff always willing to help and have the best in stock selection and prices around. I go for cb radio equipment and love this place as they have everything I need at the lowest prices around. I drive 1 hour round trip and its well worth the trip.

We live in Indiana and this IS the closest store for Amateur Radio needs/wants. Well worth the drive, always stocked with product on the shelves. I dont, however, think the used section is priced accordingly. There were many items that required repair and were near new prices. A lot of the items you cant find parts for and would require extensive knowledge or search to repair such items.

Love this store. The people there are great at helping you. The mail order is great, and very efficient. Love buying from them.

Great store to visit, if you can get there the shipping is super fast too, most of the time I get the items next day. I do enjoy driving over on a crummy day and messing around for a hour or two, takes me about 2.5 to make the trip over but its a lot of fun.

Ive been dealing with all the amateur radio supply stores since 1981 and with few exceptions I usually deal with R&L , first off home QTH is Winchester, KY and if I order before late afternoon my item will arrive the next day. The prices as a whole beat the others Ive even found what I thought to be the lowest price at another store just to check R&L and find it even fifty dollars lower. The staff is extremely helpful , numerous times Ive called to order something not knowing the part number and just explaining the item theyve searched their computer or ask other staff to run down the part for me and since the interstate connector was put in the store is a whole lot easier to access.R&L has been a great asset to this wonderful hobby and I wanna 73em for a bright future

The service I received there was exemplary! The people are VERY friendly and quite knowledgeable. I purchased a radio which turned out to be malfunctioning out of the box. They listened to the problem and immediately set up a replacement. However before the replacement was shipped it was hooked up to confirm that it worked before it left the shop. The pricing was the best that I have found short of the equipment on E-bay! I WILL BE GOING BACK any time I need gear!! Please use these people, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

I asked if he could help me out and he said We do not service that brand. I was not there for SERVICE.
