Stopped on our way through town today and oh man was it delicious. The inside seating is pretty compact but if you can grab a seat its worth it 100%. Breakfast sandwich on the housemade bread was absolutely perfect and my friend said the Almond Cake was the best thing shes ever tasted. Well be back!

What you need to know:1. This place is always busy and is not a fast food restaurant. If you’re in a hurry I recommend trying them on a day when you are not.2. The breakfast burritos are delicious but the quiche is EVERYTHING. Try any flavor. You won’t be disappointed.3. These guys get five stars from me based solely on their delicious food. The espresso based drinks leave much to be desired flavor wise and usually aren’t steamed to proper temperature. I like my coffee hot! 160-180. And having been a barista for 10+ years I would guess that they’re steaming their drinks to 130 or 140. If you decide to get an espresso based drink be specific about the temperature that you want.4. Buy the lemon bars. Eat the lemon bars. Repeat.

My wife and I picked this place to eat spontaneously as we have never eaten here before. The food tasted incredible and had my wife saying mmm which she only does when she genuinely enjoys something. She had a breakfast burrito with veggies, sausage and goat cheese and I had the white chocolate chip pancakes with blueberries and blackberries. Delicious. We also got a loaf of sourdough bread and it is incredible as well!

Best bread ever!!! Family favorite is the cranberry walnut artisan bread. Its even better when you toast it and spread it with butter. I love to spoil my friends and family when I have this bread when I prepare breakfast or brunch!!! Sandwiches are yummy !!! I would leave a no star off possible. These people are handling your food and don’t wear masks during a pandemic! Didn’t care when a concern was expressed! Shame on you for not caring for the community and helping stop the spread!I love personal choices but nobody should be aloud to put others at such a risk and you should be ashamed to not care for the public! My mother who’s severely allergic to nuts asked if there were any in the cookies we were looking at, they said no so we got some. Thank goodness we broke one in half to be sure because they were full of nuts. Aside from that, not requiring employees that handle food to wear face masks isn’t safe or good business. Like they state, it’s their choice; but still important to know before you go if you are older or immunocompromised like myself.

Food was great, service was just okay. They (2 women at front counter) were snarky when we asked to have a patio table wiped down for our group of 4, since there were no 4-top tables indoors. They ran out of one of the specials, which wouldnt have been a big deal for us, except they didnt want to refund the difference when we ordered a less expensive item. This is where they developed a condescending attitude. Quite a few items wrong or forgotten on our orders because they were annoyed... and when we reminded them, more attitude. We just kept smiling. They couldnt have been more fake. But the parts of our orders we did receive were delicious!!! Kudos to the Chef!

Their bread is amazing, hands down. The prices are steep which is okay for high quality food. Unfortunately, they often fall short in the accuracy department. I often have mistakes with my order. I paid $13.50 for a turkey sandwich which I asked for avocado and sprouts. There was a slight smearing of under ripe avocado and a pinch of sprouts on the sandwich. I took a picture of the extremely disappointing sandwich and debated on sending it to the management. I decided I just wouldnt go there anymore. I buy their fabulous sourdough bread and make my own sandwiches now. I refuse to go back any other food items.

Pros:- Fresh bread usually baked well.- The quiche is yummy.- Tasty sandwiches with a reasonable amount of veggies on them and a decent amount of meat.- It has been a while since I received a gas station sandwich from them. (You know, where all the ingredients are piled in the middle then the sandwich is cut in half to make it LOOK awesome, but more than half the bread is empty and you feel ripped off and like a fool for ever buying it in the first place.)- Tasty sandwiches... did I say that already?- Helpful staff.Cons:- They dont always stock the ingredients on their menu (e.g. sprouts may or may not be available on any given day).- The Special sandwich and coffee of the day is only special by use of the word, there is no special pricing for the specials, and they are normally on the menu anyway; it is just a featured sandwich they want you to buy. Now you can avoid the uncomfortable conversation so many people have already had with the staff.- Price. Your $12.00 sandwich will come with a hand filled bag of plain chips and not even a drink.- Not for days when you are in a hurry; I have had it take more than an hour for them to make my sandwich after I have ordered it. If you have all day, go here. Though they have gotten faster, today one smart person going through the drive through placed her order for pick up in an hour and a half with very explicit instructions for them to make it and refrigerate it so it would be ready for her lunch break. This is a brilliant solution, and seemed to actually work.- Some grumpy staff.- Parking is limited.Today, my sandwich was delicious. The avocado was ripe and yummy (a treat in Montana). The bread was slightly undercooked and doughy, but it was also moist. Super dense bread, perfect consistency for a cake pop. The ingredients were evenly distributed on the sandwich. It only took 8 minutes from placing my order to food in hand (early lunch at 11am before a rush). They have gotten much better than in the past, and the flavor is good. If you have the time, give them a try. If your mood is not bulletproof, or you are in a hurry, I would suggest something else for lunch that day.

Went into a cute little shack called the Red Rooster today, to try a sandwich.I waited approx. 25 minutes to order, though their were only two people in the lobby in line. My sandwich and little bag of chips @ $12 was underwhelming, coupled with a twenty minute wait, post ordering the cook at the grill came in from outside, and failed to wash his hands. I also observed him doing something questionable for which I am not at liberty to state publicly, trust me when I say it was not good.Someone should call the health department on this place, the air was even very smokey during my visit.

I love going down and having lunch there the food always tastes good, the service has always been a little slow but other then that no problems... until this morning. A work friend went down to grab some breakfast and I got a parfait (which I had never had before) just yogurt berries and garonola. I took one bite and tasted peanuts (Im allergic not deathly, but allergic none the less) I called to have them check so I knew what I was dealing with, and no one could give me an answer! No one knew what was in there they were looking at it and guessing! I did end up having a reaction, really disappointing!
