In this bizarre state of affairs, continuity is desired, Big Creek offers solstice of existence. My afternoons revolve around the courtesy and tenderness of their servers, this human consideration reminds me that I too am human and am appreciated as such, thats the solstice attitude this place provides. The refreshments are always perfect, maybe they put a little too much tea in my cup, but this overflowing sharing only serves to bring pleasure in my existence. Thank you Big Creek for sharing your love of brewing!

Each time I visit the Bitterroot valley I make it a point to stop by once or twice here. Love their coffee blends! Have very good ice cream as well. Always look forward to my visits here!

The coffee was delicious, with the shots drawn very well and just enough sweetener to cut down on the bitterness in my latte.

Listen, I live in Portland which is pretty much the coffee capital. I have my own pour overs down to an exact science. I know good coffee better than your average consumer… and I’m here to let you know that the pourover I just got at Big Creek with their Ethiopia light roast was downright *phenomenal*. The dude in the back knows his stuff. If you’re unfamiliar with the process, don’t hesitate due to the price… just trust me and get their pourover. Drink it black. You’ll taste flavors you never knew existed in coffee. I have some of the best beans around available to me in Portland, and I still plan on ordering Big Creek beans. So. Good. Don’t waste your time with the drive thru places. This is your place if you want the good stuff.

Absolutely loved my ice-cream cone from there. The cookies I bought my son where kinda not so good. But Im still giving a 5 star for everything else.

The coffee tasted burnt. Peppermint mocha tasted horrible. A basic White Mocha couldnt even been made right. The hot chocolate for my son tasted horrible and like it was made with cheap ingredients. The kid working was rude as well. I will not be coming back to this place.

Im always looking for GOOD coffee. Ive tried coffees from a lot of roasters, some of whom are VERY good at their craft. The consistently BEST, tastiest coffee: Big Creek Coffee. All their coffees are wonderful. Their Ethiopian is AMAZING! We have it sent to us. For a great year round blend: try Rise. If youre ever in Hamilton MT, visit their shop, a great place to hang out. Wonderful folks!

The coffee is really the best!! The only thing that bums me out is that it’s so so expensive. I only ever get 4 espresso shots over ice in a tiny cup with a splash of cream and it was $7!! That’s at least $3 more than I’ve paid anywhere else for the same exact drink. So sad! They do a great job with merch, pastries and service. If you can afford it, drink coffee here!

My favorite place in town to sit and enjoy a coffee. The baristas are always friendly, the drinks are wonderful, and the cozy, bright atmosphere is perfect for catching up with a friend or doing some work. They also went above and beyond to stay open and provide excellent service throughout the COVID pandemic.

While Big Creek Coffee may have some of the most expensive coffee in the valley, it is certainly easy to see why. Big Creek is the model of what every local coffee shop should strive to be. Beyond good, the coffee is delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed yet also studious, allowing for break and study to coexist. And of course, the staff is always excellent, efficient, and they serve their excellent coffee with pride.I suppose it would be remiss of me if I didnt mention the fact that Big Creek roasts its own coffee directly in front of its clientele, allowing for both an interesting look at what normally happens behind the scenes of other shops. This only further proves their commitment as a whole to the phrase homemade.Unlike other shops in Hamilton, Big Creek is situated to have a great view, good lighting, and is the best place to consistently meet the best people. Overall, it offers an excellent place for people of all ages to mingle, creating comfort through coffee and service that wouldnt be seen on the streets.I have been, and always will be, a fan of Big Creek Coffee Roasters.

Really great coffee - nice atmosphere - unfortunately the last two times I been there, including on November 5th (around 4pm), I literally stood at the counter, right in front of the cash register and no one helped me or took my order for over 4 minutes. A nice girl was working the front counter and took the order of the customer in front of me, then proceeded to get chatty with him and ignore me. Two people in the back were restocking - made eye contact with me twice - still no one took my order. I kept checking my phone - curious as to how long I was going to have to wait - then informed the girl behind the counter that I would go and sit down and she could come take my order when she had the time. She replied - I would prefer that you not do that. Wow! Really!? No they were not busy. Update! Went in on December 19th - both servers smiled! Lightening fast service! Truly the best hot mocha - not overly sweet just great flavor. Drink tokens will be the perfect stocking stuffer!! 😁

Cozy little coffee shop. Friendly staff made our drinks relatively fast. Only thing I would suggest is that they label the drinks so they are easier to identify if you’re getting a bunch.

One of the best coffee roasters in the country. I can not say I have had a less than stellar cup of coffee at any point. The shop roasts everything in house and delivers top quality pourover style coffee. Also has stylized versions of coffee drinks as well, including lattes, mochas, etc. Good atmosphere, friendly crew, and the owner brews his own cold brew coffee, get on this if you have the chance.Also sells 1 lb. bags of fresh roasted single origin coffees as well as original blends. You honestly can not go wrong. Great coffee for enthusiasts and all others alike!

This is the best coffee in Montana. I have been to many of the top rated coffee joints in just about every major city in the state. Big Creek is my hands-down favorite (in terms of flavor of beans and quality of espresso drinks). I recommend either their latte or macchiato (they make traditional Italian macchiatos, not the sugary-cappuccino-like drinks served at Starbucks). Also, their pastries are very good. They get them in daily from a bakery in Hamilton, so be early if you want to get one of their great cream-puffs before theyre gone.In terms of atmosphere, the place is a bit small and could use some more table space and decor, so the title of favorite coffee place in Montana is in contention with Wild Joes in Bozeman, which has both atmosphere and quality coffee. However, Big Creeks coffee is worth a trip out to Hamilton regardless if you live just outside of the city, or in another state altogether. This purveyor knows his coffee. You will not be disappointed.
