My experience with Mr. Auto and their staff begins with my parents finding a truck that they wished to purchase on the website - they had requested that I go to test drive the car as I lived in Ohio at the time. I went ahead to test drive the car while another woman was purchasing the car - the woman was having her own issues in securing the finances and with her own vehicle. I had discussed with the owner of Mr. Auto (who by the way had spoken with my parents on the phone about the plan) of test-driving the car, purchasing, and then having my parents come the following Monday (I had come in on a Saturday) to pick up the car.This woman who was initially going to purchase the car was naturally upset that someone was coming in to purchase the car, even though her offer was never entirely solidified. She decided to yell at the owner of Mr. Auto about this. What did he do after she decided to yell at him? Yell at me after I was trying to confirm the plan. He yelled at me, a customer, about how I was reneging our deal (I wasnt, I was just confirming that I would test drive and put some money down and my parents would come the following business day to pay for the rest of the car and pick up, he had also confirmed this plan with my parents). He yelled at me about how this other woman had yelled at him and then started going on about how other people had wanted to purchase the car. To which I wanted to question, if me backing out was such a big deal, why does it matter? You are explicitly saying that there are other who will purchase this car even if I dont. He claimed that someone was planning on coming later that evening.This is where the people that the owner of Mr. Auto come in. If I could do this review all over again, I would have one star given only for the other staff at Mr. Auto. His employee was very kind to me after the owner had yelled at me, he helped the owner understand that I was not backing out of our deal but confirming what was going to happen. All is well. I went on to test drive the car. The car test drove amazing, someone had clearly taken care of the car, but I dont know much about cars. But the owner of Mr. Auto, hes slick, he yelled at me and made sure that I had put money down and signed that I could not return the car for a reason. He made a big deal of other people coming to purchase the car for a reason and he was trying to make this car look like it was the most sought out car in Ohio.Do you want to know why? Because it was a truck, a truck that ran well with a pristine interior, and it was a gas truck, which was initially why my parents were interested. He did all of this drama because he wanted to sweep over the fact that this truck, with the purpose of carrying stuff, had a rusted bed. All the crossbeams of this truck were shot and he wanted to make sure that by making it seem like a hot commodity and give you the no return policy that you wouldnt notice. I was a perfectly nice customer and he berated me, wasted my time, and then screwed my parents over. So the end of this immensely long review is that Mr. Auto is not a good car dealership, if you have to deal with their owner/manager/whoever he is, you will regret it, and lastly, they do not care about their customers whatsoever. Dont bother even glancing at this place.

I went to test drive a car and asked if the car had any problems, and was told it did not. When I took the car up to my mechanic he told me that I shouldn’t even be driving the car it was so unsafe. The rear brake caliper was missing an entire bolt and my mechanic had to put one in to make it safe, so you’re welcome for that Mr. Auto. I would definitely stay away from this dealership, they do not even check their cars to make sure they’re safe for you to drive, it’s sad.

LOOK NO MORE: I have made more than one deal with this auto dealer in the last past 5 years. I like the owner and the location of this family small business . A friendly staff, excellent and fair deals and a quick paperwork process and follow up, I’m very satisfied, i profited from their vehicles when i sold them !There rates are unbeatable.I don’t get the bad reviews about these poor guys, they don’t sell ferraris people, be more fair in your ratings.Highly recommended

Needed a car for my son quickly, Mr auto was open on Sunday which is very beneficial to me. After showing me several cars in the price range I was looking for that did not work out. He show me a older accord with 200,000 miles on it that was in good shape. Give me a fair deal on the car and I am satisfied. Just waiting on the title to come in the mail and I will be good.

Arrived to check on a Ford Escape today. Was first shown the vehicle that I did not request. Once I told him the battery was dead and asked how long the vehicle had been sitting due to appearance is when he said it was the wrong vehicle. When I was shown the correct vehicle it’s condition was far worse than what was shown on the websites. First issue I noticed was the rust that was not shown. A second issue that I noticed upon opening the door was the stench of old burnt marijuana. The inside of the vehicle was stained and filthy like it had never been cleaned. Then I lifted up the back seat to find maggots crawling around! I walked around the car to find several other damaged areas and a passenger door full of water. Guy still had the nerve to tell me he would give the car to me at list price out the door! Needles to say I will not be purchasing a vehicle from here !

Agreed on price for car. Signed a bill of sale. Started a wire transfer and setting up shipping. Once wire was in place Mr. Auto emails back and says Car no longer available... when we had a signed bill of sale and funds being transferred. No explanation and car still seems like it is up for sale. Should have listened to the other bad reviews and avoided. Was hoping they would be an honest seller and just had some run ins with shady buyers, but Im left with a bad experience and feeling like I was almost scammed out of $8500

Con artists, bought a car that seemed really nice at first but when I brought it into a shop they showed it had extensive rust damage. This was not reported in the Carfax and they failed to mention it. They would not take the car back and would not give any refunds. Beware

Do not buy a car from these thieves!! I mistakenly purchased a car from these crooks less than two months ago. A week or two after purchase I had the oil changed during which the tech indicated the crankcase had been filled very heavy weight oil as well as some type thick no smoke additive. Well, sure enough, after leaving the service facility with the proper weight and type of oil, the auto started smoking like hell. After three different opinions from three different service providers, it appears to be a valve issue with a cost to cure around $5000. I immediately took the car back as it was still under Mr Autos six month warranty. They refused a refund, refused an even trade with a different car from their lot, and they refused to waive any remaining payments. Oh, Andy did offer, after I paid the car off, trade in value towards something else on his lot. His trade in value was less than half of what I paid for the car two months prior!! Are you freaking kidding me?! This place is joke. Buyer BEWARE!! Do not buy anything from this place! They are completely dishonest, they hide/misrepresent significant mechanical issues, they dont stand behind their sales or cars, and their so called warranty is complete garbage. Avoid this dealership at all costs!! If I could give it negative stars, I would.

I sadly Couldnt do Zero stars, otherwise I wouldve. I bought a car a little over a month ago. Been giving me problems ever since. It burns through Oil BAD ! Past 2 days Ive filled it up, have it a full oil.... the very next day it was bone dry and I would have to go out and buy more oil. Bumpers are always about to fall off, every time I go to get into my car I would have to hit the bumper to put it back in its place. My transmission is giving me problems, its starting to go out. When Im on the highway, my car shakes bad and I mean bad. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MR. AUTO to anyone that I know.

Mr. Auto Sold me a great car at a great price!!!! I had other car dealers that in my 4-5k price range I was not going to get a healthy car However Mr. Auto sold me an 03 Elantra for less than what I was looking to spend! The car is super clean low miles and runs amazingly! Ive had it for about a month now and havent had any issues. I highly recommend them!!!!! Great Cars for a great deal.

They are a little pricy though they have a pretty decent collection of used vehicles. I was told that they only sell clean title vehicles. For customers satisfaction they make Carfax reports available to them.

Mr. Auto is the only dealer in the greater Cincinnati area that I will ever trust and deal with. Over the last 14 years my immediate and extended family have bought 16 vehicles from Mr. Auto. Adam and Dea have treated me tremendously. I have referred many people to Mr. Auto and they have all been pleased.

I bought a Ford Explorer 2002 and the transmission went out 4 months later.Basically I was told that my 3 month warranty expired and there was nothing that they could do.I honestly believe they sold me a truck KNOWING that the transmission was going out.I feel I was swindled for my money that I worked hard for.I wish I would have did my research before I wasted my money.I DO NOT RECOMMEND MR AUTO. These guys are rated as an F by the BBB. I bought a car from them recently and AJ told me that if the temp tags expire I could come by and he would give me a new tag. When they expired, I called him and he pretended like he never sold me a car and refused to help me. I should have checked his BBB rating and reviews before I bought from him. People like him shouldnt be allowed to run a business. This is a perfect example of why we should have stricter immigration laws. This hajji should go back where he came from!

This car dealership has some great choices to pick from. From great low prices for people who arent trying to spend much to very great quality cars for those wanting to spend a good amount of money. Ive purchased a couple of vehicles from different locations and when I had issues with my vehicle it was my problem to fix. I did have an issue with of my vehicles from mr auto. After test driving it, I told him the issues I found on it, he asked for my offer and when I offered to $4000, the guy called me an ass, that he did not stole the car. This was the 2nd time here thinking that the extensive stock might yield some sort of good car. Nope, most cars have been flooded or the interior is complete garbage. Exterior might look okay on the internet and in person but not the interior. When I asked why the carpet was removed in 2 cars the salesman walked away pretending not to hear me. Their newer cars might be better but anything under $6,000 is a joke. Run the other way!

Went to Mr auto in December 2017, they had a pretty good selection and competitive prices. Picked up a 2005 hyundai tucson and its been a good suv. Friendly staff as well.

Wife went to check out a few different cars. The guy has pretty much dismissed any of the ones she wanted to look at and had got her in to testing another one. We drove it, I got out and looked it over. Once we brought it back and pointed out every thing wrong his response was you buy it Ill fix it. I think it is bad practice to sell a car that has issues and then expect us to purchase it with the promise to fix those issues. Im a mechanic by trade and knew the types of repairs one can do to bandaid a car long enough to get it off the lot. He didnt like my response and just dismissed us all together. Will never be returning to the lot.

Purchased a 07 nissan pathfinder in Feb 2018. Over priced for one. Never told me about any issues, wrecks, or anything. Come to find out its been wrecked before and have had nothing but Issues and problems out of the vehicle. Problems started only 2 months after having. Radiator, transmission whole nine yards. Still making payments and nothing can be done to help. They seemed to be in a hurry to get you in something and out their door then its your problem. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

I got a 1992 honda civic for $1500 did inhouse financing so only did 300$ down and 175$ a week these guys will work with u and they got excellent cars mine has no problems and runs excellent .

I was a little skeptic of this place, It has the look of a place that is going to rip you off but after looking at the car driving it i decided i would give it a chance.The sticker price was 6900 and i was going to try and talk him down to 6500 but when I went in there, before i even tried to talk him down he said 6300.My first thought was whats wrong with the car. He it is 1 month later and the only issue i have had was the two front tires where bald and a oil change. I bought a 2008 DODGE CALIBER 70,000 miles. I would definitely tell your friends to give him a try, I think the people who had issues where things Mr. Motor didnt know about because every time i talk to him he did what he could to help me with my issue.

Terrible company. Sold me a car and within 30 minutes the cheek engine light came on. Couple days later it was over heating. Come to find out it has 2 BLOWN HEAD GASKETS AND A FAILING TRANSMISSION. The warranty they sell doesnt cover anything. Dont be fooled by these criminals. Dont do business here.

Just purchased a nice Kia Sorento from Mr. Auto today! After totaling my Sorento a couple weeks ago, I was devastated and really wanted another one. We looked around at other lots and found nothing but junk in our price range, so I was so relieved to find what I was looking for here! We were very happy with our experience from start to finish. Adam was friendly and helpful, and made us a great deal. The man who works in the office (cant remember his name) was also very friendly and made the whole paperwork process enjoyable, and actually, everyone we came in contact with was very nice. Most of the cars on the lot appeared to be older models but all were in good condition, no junk sitting around like we saw at other lots in the area. We live about 2 hours away and it was so worth the drive. This was one of the best car buying experiences Ive ever had and I love my car!

We went to Mr Auto to look at an inexpensive car for our daughter that we had seen on the internet. That car wasnt for us, but we did buy a well priced, newer, very clean, low mileage Kia instead. Some people have written bad reviews, but in our experience we would definitely do business here again. They went over and above, had the oil changed, replaced a faulty windshield wiper, and called Kia (on speakerphone) to order and pay for a remote for the car. Thanks Adam!

BUYER BEWARE! Even if you believe you have no other recourse, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!In a desperate attempt to quickly regain transportation, I purchased a 2006 Kia Sedona in Nov 2012. About a week after purchase, we picked up the van with a severely cracked windshield. This was the ONLY thing Mr Auto took care of; even if it took 2 wks for them to have a guy do it. A few days later, rod underneath went out ($100). 3 wks after that, replaced battery ($100). A few weeks after that, the car cut off on me. Towed to reputable service center-head cover gasket had bad oil leak which ruined the alternator so both needed to be replaced ($891.04). Picked up from having that serviced and the very NEXT day, car cut off on me-again. Towed it back to service center and once they pulled everything apart, they noticed sludge build-up causing oil starvation to engine; estimated cost $5000.Mr Auto sells cars as-is but tacks on additional fees for 3-mo/90 day warranty. When my husband tried calling (within that time span), he talked to AJ and was told to call back. He tried calling back but no answer. I called and was told that AJ no longer worked there and to call back to speak w/ someone else. Finally I sent 2 certified letters and finally received an email for a meeting. I met w/ Adam (hmm, could that be AJ? Just a thought). Adam told me I shouldve inspected the van more thoroughly and that if I buy a new engine, hed install it for me. Gee, thanks!

Did not buy a car from here because I had the car inspected by a mechanic first and they said it was clear it had been in several accidents (even with a clean carfax) and was not worth the $3600. Always have a used car inspected--regardless of the dealer.
