This is by far the best hat dealer on the internet. I happened to be in the area and wanted to stop by thinking they were a store. Turns out they are a warehouse who does business on the web. Bruce the owner was gracious enough to invite my wife and I in to look at what I was interested in. He is by far the nicest person I have probably ever met and has the best prices and selection of Borsalino hats on the internet. I cannot say enough nice things about him or his business. I am thrilled with my purchases and look forward to doing more business with him in the future.

Bruce Holland is such a nice, friendly man who gave me the best customer service possible. There was a slight problem with my order (USPS mix up, not merchant fault), and he worked with me to rectify problem.The hat prices are better here than any place else I’ve seen. I received my new Bordalino hat today and I’m very happy with the quality hat at an amazing price. It’s my third time I bought a hat from Holland Hats. If I need a fourth, I’ll look here first.

Good prices and always received the product ordered...But do not expect good customer service from this business! The owner is very courteous, but oftentimes comes across as if he is too busy to speak with his customers on the phone, return phone calls in a timely manner or return calls at all. I wanted to order additional hats from this business, because their prices are reasonable. But instead, decided that paying more money for a hat and getting good customer service was better than paying less and receiving horrible customer service.

When I called to ask about the price you kindly explained that Id misunderstood what I saw online but you helped me anyway! I liked that so much I bought 3. The credit came through first thing the next morning! I know that you have a business to run and every penny counts these days. Your potential customers should know youre a business owner with real integrity. I ordered the hats on Tuesday and received them on Thursday afternoon! This was much faster than I expected. Great to do business with! Shipped my hat the same day I ordered. Great name brand selection of hats at an unbeatable price. I wear wigens newsboy caps and this is a great place to get them. Now I have heard some grumbling about packages arrival times. Bruce ships right away though usps priority mail. The usps is backed up due to covid 19 issues. This isnt Bruces fault or the usps for that matter. Be patient your package will arrive. If it doesnt contact the usps and file a claim. Holland hats top notch service and great products!

I found Holland Hats as a result of a google search. I wanted to purchase two Borsalino Panama hats – one in natural color and the other bleached. All my regular hatters offered both colors with any color hat band as long as it was black. Holland Hats offers a wide selection of hatband colors, higher quality toquilla straw, and more competitive pricing. You get more than just an e-commerce transaction when you deal with Holland Hats – you get Bruce Holland and his 40+ years’ experience along with his desire to make you an educated consumer. Bruce made me feel like I was buying an expensive hat in my local hat store from an individual who wants to be remembered as a guy who did his job right and not the guy who wants to be remembered as richest hatter in the graveyard.

Holland Hats is terrible company to dealing with. When you order from them on line, you never receive confirmation email or tracking number. When you return it, you need to pay return shipping fee, restocking fee plus original shipping fee. So, you will lost $30 for nothing and they dont even send you return label. I asked return policy before I ordered, they didnt mention any restocking fee and need to pay original shipping fee at all. When I decide to return it, I called to check instructions. They said just mail it back and include your name and address. So, I did exactly what they instructed. One week later, I still not receive credit. I called again, they said “Oh, you didn’t put you want to get refund, so, we gave you store credit “. I never receive any email from them saying they give me store credit during that weekFollow up - The owner called and solved the issue.

Hello Bruce, just a quick note to let you know my new Borsalino 50 gram hat arrived today, and its even better in person, love the light weight and the natural color very pleased, hard not to like a Borsalino. But the main thing I wanted to let you know is how much I appreciate the quality in the packaging of the hat. Being honest I have purchased many hats through the years from many places even around the world. You staff however large or small, does the best job I have ever seen on packaging hats, its very simple packaging (love that) but very effective. And the nice touches like the tissue paper over the hat in the box shows the pride and care in your customer service. Keep us the fine job and until next time, take care of yourself. I am writing from Toronto, Canada. In December 2017, I bought two Borsalino Fedora hats and one Panama hat from Holland Hats. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. The price was very competitive (the best that I had seen online), and the customer service was second to none. (When I told the seller that the hats were a little loose, he sent me foam strips at no extra charge).

I ordered a Tilley AirFlo the week before Christmas and it arrived the Monday before which was great. They shipped it the same day. The hat is great quality and it arrived in great shape. Sizing chart/tips for Tilley was perfect. I read horror stories about Tilleys being ordered on Amazon and arriving in bad shape because they didnt get shipped in the correct size boxes or even in an envelope. Im not a huge hat person but I love this one and so does my wife and daughter. I will definitely look at getting another at some point. Its good to support an independent family retailer so Ill be back.

Worst hat seller ever! Unethical, bullying and intimidating behavior of the owner who screams on the phone at you if you do not like his cheap products. If he does not have your size in what he sells you he sends a cheap knock-off of substandard quality to make up for it! Never, never again. Shop ANYWHERE BUT HERE! Save your money! Save your sanity, it simply is not worth the hassle. If you return the hat for any reason you get bullied - even if the hat is the wrong size! Seller refused to give a refund on his incorrect item, only offer is to stretch a 200 hat!!! YIKES! This guy is nuts!

Im seriously disappointed. I bought a Tilley winter hat awile back and I was pleased. When I came back, this time for a new beret, the experience was not so good. Holland Hats had what I wanted, but sizes were S,M, &c. I called, told Bruce I needed a size 7 and was told to order a medium. I placed the order, the hat arrived -- and was too big, unbearably so. The hat was MARKED 7-1/8. I called -- twice. We finally talked. What I got was twaddle about how well Bruce knew the product and how one couldnt trust a tape measure and so on. The beret will go back, and Bruce can either get me one that fits or absorb my additional return mail costs as well as the initial charges. Or Duke it out with the bank... But the point here: Not clever to piss off a returning customer.

Dean OBrienI order my hat on the phone Friday May 31st. Wednesday i go to the receipt on line and there is no tracking number. Also, a nother address under mine. I call Bruce, angry now he blames me for the other address Ive never seen or heard of. He finally says he looked it up its on the way, call me Monday he says. 10 days after my order I call him and angry Bruce says it was delivered 6/7. I dont have it. Now get this: He says hell send me the tracking number so I can contact the Post Office and have the pick up the hat at the other location. I said I would. No email with the Tracking Number. I call back, he says (angry) send me a reply from the receipt and Ill send it right to you. 2 Hours Nothing. I call no answer. I text because I know its a cell phone. I havnt got the Tracking Number, along with emails. So I call Tuesday AM / My Calls Are Blocked!!!$80 Tilley. Never mailed? There is no tracking number? Angry Bruce, it should be angry Dean...

Bruce was fantastic. I was looking for a particular Borsalino hat for years on line. I found his website by accident. He knew exactly what I needed and sent me out two hats one size apart for me to choose. (His only stipulation was that I leave the tags on the hat I returned and to return it within a week.) He had the lowest price anywhere and I got the hats in two days just in time for my trip with free shipping!
