Terrible store. I tried to refill my gasoline. The cashier (not the machine) refused to take my Samsung Pay payment while I know for 100% sure Samsung Pay works. I refilled my gasoline at other Kroger and the cashiers were very nice and kind and helpful to assist me with the Samsung Pay although many of them told me that theyve seen it for the first time. Samsung pay works almost everywhere at gas stations, bank ATMs, Walmart and all other stotes. Dont go to pump gas at this place. Very terrible experience. Unfriendly and unhelpful cashiers. I love my local Kroger. I recognize so many of the employees there. Tina is AMAZING. Shes super helpful and knowledgeable. She will always tell you if there is something on special to help you save money. They always have what I need and almost always in stock.

Temper tauntrams galore in this store. Customer service is great from about 3 employees. The rest of the time it feels like your navigating a insane asylum when asking for help. Never seen so many anger issues in one place. From the deli, meat department, to the cashiers. Glad its closing

Love this Kroger, its 2 minutes from my home and staff is always lovely no matter the time of say or night. Just always an awesome experience and when I need help theres always an employee arouns.to ask

Very upset that one of our grocery stores is closing it is been there all my life the all we have left now is Aldis here in Haltom City it is very sad to hear that the owner of the building decided to go up on their rent and made it to where they decided to leave I hope that the owner best sit on that building for a very very long time hear that Planet Fitness is possibly leaving as well so that whole complex will be empty except for one little salon. Get there while you can they closed March 17th at 6 p.m. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😢

Nice store. Was short on a couple of things I needed but they are good about restocking. The employees are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the Free Friday download is not looked after well.

This Kroger is clean and bright and pretty much what you might expect from a quality grocery store. But what sets it apart is the friendliness of the staff. Doesnt have everything I need - - I need to go to the big fancy Signature Kroger on North Tarrant for that. But its perfectly good for my normal shopping. The app and the personalized coupons they send me are amazing.

Its one of the only grocery stores close to my house. I like the low sales prices but the dont always have the products that I prefer. I usually have to settle for second best or second choice products that I really dont want to purchase. I really wished they would have a larger selection to choose from.

Been going here since the 70s. Its still the same! You can find some good deals on meat there.

Incredibly helpful. always doing everything they can to make sure you get the best service possible. Despite the people above me complaining, the store is clean. the people are nice and helpful. VERY cheap gas. 70 cents off per gallon if you shop enough.

They had what I expected them to have. The area seemed safe. Gave 4 stars bc there is room for improvement but it is what you expect a grocery store to be. Pricier than what Im used to but Im sure thats just the area.

I love the bakery because I can stop on the way to work and get fresh donuts and pastries. The staff are very helpful in general. The seasonal promos are also nice.

Always helpful and smiling faces. Never over crowded during the weekdays. The only problem I have with them is they are a little pricey on certain items.

The people that work there were very helpful & nice. However, the manager was paging for cashiers to come to the registers. In a very arrogant, disrespectful way. There is no reason to do anything like this in front of your customers that shop there. You give respect to get respect!

Good selections, but I hate self checkout! I dont want anyone to lose their job because of self checkout. Some older customers, the only human contact they have is at the grocery store...I could go on and on.

Worst Kroger i have ever been to. Very rude staff. Evelyn an employee there is extremely rude and very judgmental towards shoppers and not afraid to show it. After lastnight with my experience I will never go back to this Kroger. I have shopped here for years and will never be returning. Manger didn’t do anything about outrageous employee and other employees were defending their outrageous ms Evelyn. Very rude and extremely ghetto. 0 stars if I could. This needs to be noticed by corporate and needs to be a stop to the way she treats PAYING costumers. I am extremely upset with the way she talked to me especially infront of her manager. I love Kroger as a whole, but this location is a disaster. Employees are friendly, but always overwhelmed. They are consistently understaffed and I have left and gone elsewhere on numerous occasions because the one open line is backed up 15 customers deep. I wont be back.

Great place to grocery shop. Love John (cashier). Fun guy to enjoy talking to while checking out. Only pet peeve i have on Monday mornings dairy is completely empty. No milk eggs some biscuits not even egg white carton i use. Have to go other places to get my products. But i mainly dtick to Krogers. Still best place for me.

It’s bad.....Real bad! I go out of my way to get groceries because this store is so bad. Do yourself a favor. Drive to the Beighborhood Walmart on 26. It’s worth the drive. No headache if you do.

Okay at best at this particular store they are not fully equipped like other kroger stores with self check but if youre not hurting for time them its okay to wait some time in line here the staff are often really courteous and respectful and thats why i makes trips back a least once a week

The heavier set hispanic lady in the bakery always claims they cant do a cake for me no matter what day or time I come in to place an order... and I come in 24 to 48 hours in advance. This has been on going with her since last Feb....not sure what her problem is but I will NEVER USE THE BAKERY AT THIS LOCATION yesterday was the last straw to tell me no we cant fulfill an order!

Disappointed every time I visit. This must be the clearance center for the other area Kroger stores. There are an alarming amout of expired items on the shelves. The produce and bakery items all look like something dug out of the trash. Its on my way home from downtown and would be convenient if it were not such a dump. Is kroger taking advantage of the area demographics, by not maintaining this store like those a few miles north? Send a message people, bypass this location and force the chain to bring this neighborhood anchor up to standard. I wont be stopping there again, until they do!Google, please give an option for zero or negative stars. One star rating is severely overrated in thus instance.

This is probably the oldest Kroger (and grocery store) for miles. Because of that the parking lot/stock room/floor/restrooms are not really up to modern standards (looks nasty). I absolutely HATE the remodeled entrance/exit of this store. Service is far better than it ever has been and dispite the length of the lines, they move pretty well.

Its convenient, by my apartment. So I go there frequently. Its an older Kroger , so they dont have all of the things that the newer Kroger does, but it still works.

Busy location but they are able to handle the volume well. Close to home and easy to get in and out quickly.

The produce is always high quality, the employees are very kind, and theres usually a great selection. If they only had frozen shrimp that werent freezer burned, then I wouldnt have to go to the seafood market on Beach st.

Ive been coming here as long as I can remember. The 4 stars is based soley on the employees. They are usually understaffed and that store is busy constantly. They somehow manage to be polite and professional and I appreciate that. The store however is the oldest one Ive been to. Kroger needs to put some money into it really bad. Its pretty run down and needs a update and facelift. I hope that happens soon because no matter how friendly the staff is eventually I will get tired of going to such a dilapidated store when there are much nicer ones to go to. Step it up Kroger..

Recently remodeled grocery store. Most of the staff are nice and friendly, except for one manager who insisted on counseling one of her clerks, in front of customers, because she wasnt wearing the right color shoes.

Went to the Kroger on Denton Highway (by the Post Office) to pick up a couple of items. Went to the 15 or less checkout .. one person in front of me .. and Rebecca (with attitude and tone) told me there were other registers that would check me out. Seriously!!??? When I looked back at her, she pointed to other registers. If I didnt need the items, I would have left the cart and walked out. A young man monitoring customers in line and available registers told me he was opening register 5 and he would be happy to check me out. I told him the rude person at register 1 told me to go to register 6 or 7. He shook his head and said Please let me take care of you. He also mentioned others had complained about Rebecca. Obviously customer service is not her forte. Thank you Treymane for being so polite when you checked me out. And thank you Thomas for sacking my groceries.

This place frustrates me because either the store itself does whatever they want or the people who run it are wrong.The times are nerve correct.Check cashing closes at 8 says 9Pharmacy says 9 and they close at 8.Its just frustrating to come here and nothing is open

Even when they are busy they still make an extra effort to expedite the checkout and are almost always friendly.

Theres cockroaches, smells disgusting, its filthy, and expired food on the shelves. Also rude staff.

Its definitely not a typical Kroger. The area is ok but Kroger seemed to have abandoned their desire to make this a store of significance. Probably the bbn only thing keeping the store there is the alchohol sales.

Its a good store with good staff the selection due to it being old is very small in all departments.

Small selections, poor quality produce and I never get through the check out in less than 15 minutes. The register employees are less than savory. I was one told by a young woman working the register that I was missing out on life. How she came to that conclusion based off my groceries, Ill never know.

I usually shop Kroger, just not this location any more since we moved. Today I got a reminder as to why I was going across town to shop at WinCo. First check out lane we stopped at the cashier was extremely rude & hateful when snapping at us with this is a express lane!!!! O.K. my bad the Kroger near where we live now has express lanes and self checkout on the ends of the row of cashier lanes, I forgot, it happens, besides one would think it would be marked Express Lane at eye level not in fine print under the Lane Number! So if you are standing at the end of the stand you CANT see it unless you are 10 foot tall! So off to the next cashier lane we go. We had been. In line for 3-4 minutes when the customer in front of us turned around and said The cashier has been M.I.A. for almost 15 minutes now! I could see why he had not moved to a different lane as he had the belt Full & piled up as high as he could have plus a few more items in his basket. So off we go to the 3 check out stand. Third times a charm right???? NOT! Once we got the chance we started piling up the basket full we had on to the check stand belt. Looked up and realized the last customer and the cashier were both gone. About 5 minutes goes by and they finally return from going to r.egister 1 for cigarettes. Finally it was our turn! With the groceries stacking up at the end of the register stand we realized theres NO ONE to bag them so me and my husband jumped in and started bagging our own groceries! With the money I save shopping at WinCo I dont mind bagging my own groceries. But the only thing I feel like was saved on this trip to buy groceries at Kroger was to their benefit! Next week I will be back at WinCo shopping!
