Great place to get just about anything you need. The only reason Ill no longer shop here is the extreme unprofessionalism of the ceo. Taking personal insecurities and emotions out on innocent people in an ugly way. Trying to get someone fired at a company with no relation to idaho lumber because they have no sense of humor. Everyone else here is great!!

Came in for wall repair supplies and was helped right away, the girl with long hair at the register gave me different options and recommended the easiest way to go! Check out was simple and fast! Definitely recommend this hardware store.

Its great that theyre open on Sundays. I had some frozen pipes and didnt have to wait until Monday to fix the problem.

This is what hardware stores are supposed to be like. A bit more expensive than Lowes or HD, but at least the lumber isnt absolute trash. The guys out back usually help you go through the wood to find straight, square boards. Ill pay the extra few bucks here than give any more money to Lowes or HD

I went to Idaho Lumber to find something specifically! I really didnt think they would have it! Going to a Family Reunion and needed some gifts, and found their Yeti products! Just what I was looking for! I couldnt have been happier! It was under 10 minutes, in, found it, bought it, all done, and out the door! 😎

I was passing through the area on an adventure motorcycle and stopped in looking for some help fabricating a make due kickstand for my bike. Employee Jay was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me accomplish my task. I had a very positive experience at this ACE and highly recommend purchasing from this store. Ask for Jay and he will help you. Btw my “MacGyver” kickstand works great! Thanks Jay!

The folks working the floor were very helpful and friendly, however the poor service and snotty attitudes at the registers made for a poor experience.

Always great have what I need. Usually a fair price considering the distance to a Lowes or home depot. Within a dollar to two of them. dont have the selection but for quick trips they have what I have needed and can order as well. Will continue to shop here.

Great local business with friendly staff, and a wide variety of products both for sale or rent. I love this store and would highly recommend stopping into check it out. Everything from lumber to light bulbs:)

The last time I was at Idaho Lumber, three different people helped me and I was just getting little hose parts. I checked a price on a pruning tool that was less than Amazons. Ive found consistently good prices and competent, ready to help staff.

I honestly wish that I could give this place a lower rating. Every single time Ive gone here, this store has been absolutely useless and the employees not helpful. My first experience was to get a part for our toilet. The employee gave my husband said part but when we got home we found out it had a hole which caused water to leak everywhere. Has to be a fluke right? We go back, exchange said part and come home to find out its the wrong size! We bring it back along with the old part we had and were told by the employees they dont carry the size that we need because its not a common size. We go to L.L. Greens where not only did they show us where to find the part, but showed us that it was the right size, AND demonstrated that it worked efficiently. Did I mention that the part we had was the most common size there is out there according to L.L. Greens?Our second time here, I tried to find a plug for our kids bathtub. I looked far and wide with absolutely no one asking me if I needed help. I wait in line while the employees chit chatted about nonsense. When they finally decided to assist me, Im immediately greeted with a shake of the employees head. I didnt even have a chance to ask for assistance before I was told no. I decided to ask anyway and was told Did you try to look where our bathroom stock is at? Yeah perhaps the 15 minutes I walked up and down that aisle along with the other aisles. I told him yes and he said Thats where all our bathroom supplies are at. You dont see it, we dont have it. Didnt even offer to go look with me. I figure a hardware store should carry hardware supplies right? So I go You dont carry any bath plugs whatsoever? He says No.Im never going to try to shop here again. Not worth my business or time. They dont know their arse from their elbow. If they do know anything, they dont bother to offer their assistance. Go to L.L. Greens. They know whats up AND are helpful.
