Friendly, knowledgeable, expert care. I dont trust anyone else with my high end violins and bows. They are cost conscious as well, and make recommendations if a repair is going to be spendy. Dont bother schlepping into Philly or lugging up to Moorestown, Walmsley in Haddonfield is all you need.

As a Master at his craft, John is very informative and helpful in sharing his knowledge as a Luthier .He and Duana exceed thier clients satisfaction through knowledge and integrityas well as patience, as they allow the time to be taken to promise a perfect a fit.

Learning an instrument as an adult is painstakingly difficult, especially without a network of family members, or friends to teach all the intricacies. I dont spend much here compared to their usual clientele, but Ive always been treated well, whether its luthier traditions, instrument knowledge, sound improvement or general buying guidelines. John and Duana have kept me sane through a tremendous flow of musical knowledge most learn slowly over years, however, my crash course has given me confidence going forward with any musical choices I make, and I look forward to coming back soon whenever I need aid.
