Andrea is the sweetest thing! I was waiting a few minutes for my beverage and so she started making conversation with me to kill the time. I had a rough so it really meant the world to me. She works so efficiently and is just such a friendly face. She’s always hustling and her work ethic deserves to be recognized.

I didnt visit Starbucks and never will. They are anti-law enforcement, treat the homeless guests better than paying customers and encourage drug usage in their restrooms but you dont look as trendy with a Coffee Bean cup in your hand....enjoy.

It was horrible. The workers were not disrespectful. It was very busy and they were overwhelmed.

Great Starbucks with tons of options. Super busy but very attentive and quick. Walking distance from the hackensack hospital which is super convenient.

Staff is always warm and welcoming. They always do a great job at making my drink and always are sweet and nice. I have came in so many times and never dealt with any rudeness or hostility regardless of how busy it is. Thank you guys and everyone on staff :)

Starbucks is Starbucks. Nothing particularly unique about it but consistent speedy service and product.

My order was taken quickly & efficiently, and my goods were delicious (hot chai latte & a warmed banana bread with butter). However, I was waiting, waiting, waiting for my order and eventually the person managing the pass off of goods looked again at the goods to her side, and then called my name. She did apologize, but it was there for quite some time, but my name hadnt been called. My warmed banana bread was pretty much back to room temp at that point. Maybe put the cell phone away while working? My invisible suit is at the cleaners today, so I know it wasnt that I couldnt be seen.

Starbucks is close to my job and I visit it often. Staff is friendly and they always get my order right. I also like that there is lots of parking.

They have decent sandwiches in this location.

Maybe I shouldnt review but truth be told the barristers were working hard....very hard...on mobile and Uber orders. They didnt have the time to notice the customer standing before them! I left. Im tech savvy but lets be serious, I shouldnt be relegated to using my phone to order!

Every once in a while you run into a special person who will brighten up your day. It comes at the most unexpected times. Today her name is Bonnie & she is a Barista @Starbucks in Hackensack NJ on Essex Street.

What a great staff they have here!

The employees are always fast and friendly. They deal with a very high volume of orders and I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes for my order, whether it was placed in person or on the app. Today I witnessed an extremely rude customer line jump and demand for her money back after her coffee “took too long”. The employees handled her complaint professionally and appropriately.

They are very quick, polite, and the coffee is amazing.

Everytime i come here i have to wait forever for my drinks i order. Meanwhile they have called every single name but mine i always have to go up and ask for my stuff. Every since so many employees who were so nice and attentive that worked there left this place has gotten down the drain.

Typical and often busy Starbucks. Convenient to HUMC hospital. Regular old fashioned coffee not listed on the menu. Whats up with that. Mentioned to barista and they looked at the board, shrugged and said oh yah, how about that. Coffee too strong as usual. Nitro Cold brew is my favorite in the warm weather. Since covid they remodeled, giving more space to the service area and reducing seating to three tables. (Sorry laptoppers 😃)

They screwed up my order the other night, gave me a regular expresso instead of a decaffeinated one; which was in lieu of them not having old fashioned plain brewed decaf.Had it at 7 at night,that mother had me whirlwinded til 530 in the morning! But I did accomplish a few things as my brain was hyper wired and focused.😄

Half of the store runs efficiently and the other half (at the registers taking orders) not the case. I ordered a cup of coffee and they got that wrong and still had to wait several minutes before they gave it to me... wrong!

Wait was exceptionally long and I specifically asked if the Splenda was in the bag. The man said yes and it was not in the bag. He was the one responsible to bag things up. It was very frustrating to be lied to.

I think I was at the Starbucks in PABT and in Target locations, only. Friendly and fast service. Love the Pikes Place Roast. I was supposed to receive a ten dollar gift card, for buying one of that value, but havent yet.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! it’s so much more then a coffee shop in there. The whole morning staff is always so friendly and if you go there enough they great you by name. I sit here every morning for an hour and have breakfast and i can honestly say it is the same energy everyday. They great you with a smile and kindness which just makes the overall experience so much better. I pass two different starbucks on my way here every morning and i wouldn’t want to spend my hour before work anywhere else !

Place has good coffee and quick service, buy its just soooooo filthy. Coming late around 9-10 pm it is completely dead but they wont even clean up then. Honestly would be a 5 star if they cleaned up their act.

I think restaurants that serves drinks should at least have an available bathroom for their customers, this place does not have one. Ill be spending less money there.

My experience at this Starbucks is always great. That guy at the resister tonight was very polite and very helpful, I think his name tag said Koron. The lady who made my drink made it very well I can’t remember her name on her name tag.

I placed an order today through Uber eats and waited over an hr for them to prepare it and then they canceled it. So disappointing!!!!

They made my coffee perfect. They where quick and professional very friendly to my special needs client as well. Will return again soon.

Starbucks is kind of expensive but worth it as a treat every now and then. This location isnt always consistent with the quality of their beverages or the accuracy of your order but its the most convenient location at times.

All tables super dirty, napkins not filled, bathroom no paper at all, given drink ordered, sat down, sipped, cold milk, sweet, ran to bathroom, door locked, had to spit it back into cup, went to barista, explained, she said oh, this had been there since 2pm, it was 5pm, here is your drink, she said, I said wow, that really messed up Im vegan have been for 6 years, an 1 hr and 45 min later still have that taste on my tongue. Really upset think I will write or call corporate office. If I get sick I will not let this simply go. So disappointed!

Everyone from the welcoming smiling cashier to the most coolest Swanky Barista was a sight to see.  From the sea of people flocking here you would think they were giving free stuff away.  But it was evident as the line received us into this quaint shop in a manner of minutes you see the super efficient crew there was running on all pistons.   Wow my 1st time here and well...very impressed with high qualified staff to the quality of our drinks.  Kudos!!

The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the wait time in line. Clean, well stocked, great coffee, employees were pretty much always the same--so they recognized me, knew what my order was, and I went there daily sometimes twice in a day, so occasionally I was given a free coffee ( not through their Starbucks purchase program).

This starbucks is conveniently located near the hospital. Service is fast and accurate. Theyre in a huge rush so not always friendly. If they could pull that off, that would have earned the 5th star.

Customer service is truly a hit or miss. The food is fairly good as well. Some of the attendees have an attitude that you are bothering them for ordering. Others have great attitudes. Conistent professionalism would be nice.

I went in just as they were going to close at 9pm. they were still making some drinks and since i was waiting for them by the time it was my turn, it was 9:02 and they didnt take my order. A little frustrating, they could have told me right away instead of making me wait and they had an attitude

First time ordering uber eats for a few nurses in the cancer center and messed up a drink, called to try to fix it and was told no it was already made you have to come in??? Really guys you couldn’t make another, horrible customer service. Not to mention this was not even a minute after the order went thru, if I go in it takes ten minutes to make....

Very nice cozy atmosphere. They even had larger tables to seat 4-6 for groups, which I thought was a great idea. I came in close to closing and the employee was very nice and polite when it came time to lock up.

Love this Starbucks, I go there all the time! Its super clean, the staff is friendly and the drinks are great. I didnt rate it a 5 star because the lines and waiting time can be quite long. When I went, I waited 10 minutes until I asked them what happened with my drink. There was also a pack of people waiting but overall, the place is great and I highly recomend it!!

The night manager was excellent tonight she escorted a disorderly person out of the store. In the up most stand up manner. A greats job well done by her and the traps were excellent as always.

This particular Starbucks tends to be pretty busy. Hackensack University Medical Center is right across the street, and theres plenty of other local traffic that keep this place hopping. The staff do a great job of keeping up with the flow, though. Even the bathrooms tend to be clean and well maintained, especially when compared to other local Starbucks.

They do the order wrong aaaalll the time.

This is my favorite Starbucks location! The people here are sweet, welcoming and never fail to put a smile on my face. They take great care of their customers and make the finest drinks! Ive been going here for three years and dont plan to stop anytime soon. Please visit this location when you get a chance!

The service was great here. My latte was great. No problems with the staff or drink. The issue was location and parking. Its not easy to get to, and the parking is not the best.

Whats not to like about Starbucks? Coffee was great and service was excellent. Line wasnt to long around breakfast time so that was a bonus.

Probably the rudest staff ever. I have a gluten/dairy allergy I ask for coconut milk. People who order their coffee after me always gets theirs first. When I question it I get an attitude. The staff needs to know how to address customers who pay their salaries and not talk to each other about the customer while the customer is there. RUDE. Train your staff about customer service and teach them what the ingredients in the syrup is so when asked about gluten they have answers. I WILL NEVER GO TO A STARBUCKS AGAIN.

I absolutely love this place. The employees know me and know what I want without telling them. The store is clean, the one and only prothrombin problem is that there is not much seating and some people just literally stay here for hours and dont buy a thing.

I love my neighborhood Starbucks. My wife and I stop by at least once a week for our refreshing drinks. Theres a lady that seemed to be the manager (I did not know her name as she didnt have a nametag), she was very nice, polite and friendly.Im a Veteran, therefore I asked her if Starbucks offers any deals for Veterans, she mentioned that they dont have that option on their register but that she will offer me a free drink. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful to her for the offer.I ordered Strawberry Cream with whip cream and my wife got the cold Green Tea Latté. I must say Jonah did a marvelous job on our drinks, both our drinks had the right amount of sugar content. It tasted divine!The meals and drink makes Starbucks the place to indulge, but the staff is what makes it a joy and a pleasure to visit. They did an outstanding job!

I normally visit this place later in the evening, and find a typical dark, clean and cozy Starbucks ambiance youd expect. Good servers and quick service

Unfortunately, at this Starbucks the coffee beans being used for the espresso drinks were burned and the barista didn’t know how to do the drinks we asked for. We had to throw our drinks to the garbage because they were very bitter and weren’t made correctly.The positive part of this location is that the employees were very friendly and knew the regular customers by name. Great customer service but they do need help with training the barista that served us that morning.

I come to Starbucks at least twice during the week and my go to drink for the week is a quad white mocha with soy! (So the breakdown of this spectacular drink) is that it is for shots of espresso for white mocha pumps, ice in a grande cup. This drink comes from a Secret menu! You can find this menu online or just ask the person making your coffee behind the counter! This drink is highly addictive but the order of the drink makes it addictive! You have to tell the person who is making your drink to put the ice in first with The white mocha pumps then adding the espresso #4ShotsOfBothTheWhiteMochaAndTheEspresso! Then you can add whip cream if you want but are usually dont. This is my drink of choice when I go to Starbucks!I recommend it to anyone who loves Starbucks coffee and who loves The sweet but bitter taste of Starbucks coffee.
