Assorted 511 items, this is not a discount outlet be prepared to pay 511 prices. They have a discount rack but I found nothing appealing. Customer service clerk adjusted behavior after conversating with me, however I felt a little targeted when I first walked in, as if I was under suspicion. However, our closing ended well.

Who would have thought a tactical store was so kid-friendly?!I went to this store on 4/24 with my husband and 3 kids. Our 3 year old was getting ancy and frustrated, begging for us to buy her a toy. One of the employees offered to let her play with a Hulk toy they had. It was SUCH a kind gesture! I politely declined, but only because I didnt want my toddle throwing a fit when it was time to get it back.Shortly after, another employee, a male this time, came over and offered her a sticker.For them to be SO thoughtful and kind to a toddler (when this is clearly not a kids store) was AMAZING and so unexpected. I wish I knew the employees names to thank them properly.

Normally the service is great. The afternoon of 9/12/2020 my wife and I entered the store so that I could purchase more apparel for work. We walked in, made it to the pants section and began looking. A female worker approached and asked if we had masks to wear. I put my mask on and stated that my wife has a medical condition and cannot wear the mask. The female worker then told my wife to shop from outside the store. Not going to happen. We were the only individuals in the store other than the two workers. I had been in the store the week prior with no issues in regards to not wearing the mask. Trash.

Went to 5.11 Tactical just thinking its just another store. Well I was super wrong. The quality of the cloths and shoes were amazing. The prices were surprisingly much cheaper than I would of expected. This place was amazing. The employees were super nice and made our experience AWESOME!! I am a 5.11 customer for life.

Pretty good selection of product and knowledgeable staff. It is nothing against the staff but quality control is falling through the cracks with their merchandise.

Boyfriend loves this store- he is always in there looking for backpacks and patches. They have all kinds of cool gear in here, for men and women. They have a monthly patch you can earn if you spend lots of money also. Staff is knowledgeable. You have all kinds of people walking into this store, not just military/police.

I have always been a fan of 5.11, even though they are starting to get a little pricey. This store was well stocked, staff was courteous but not overbearing, found my items and from there let the staff do their stuff. Would recommend.

Finally got a chance to check out the store today with my family, This is going to be my new favorite store!!! The manager was super friendly, he even played around with my son to keep him occupied! I have always loved 5.11, and now that there is a store near by, I will DEFINITELY be coming back again and again!

Store itself clean and nicely laid out. Take note that this is across the street from the actual mall.Sizes run small so size up!!! I chose to go to the actual store to figure out my sizing instead of purchasing online and guessing. Prices are a little high but your paying for quality. The clothing lasts forever. Great place to go for EMS/fire/police wear! Cahsier was super friendly and helpful.

I have shopped at the Gurnee store several times since it opened.During my last three visits Emma was my primary salesperson. She was fantastic in assisting me to find exactly what I wanted. On one visit she special ordered an item that was not in stock. Emma called when my item arrived in the store. Right item. Right color. Right size.Emma was patient as we paid for items using up balances on several gift cards.Yup, 5.11 is a little pricey but the Quality is always good. Employees like Emma are professional, helpful and friendly. Add those two things together and you have a shopping success.

I went in to get a new pair of combat boots for my Army National Guard drills, and for use in deployment. I found a good pair of boots and was helped by Brian, a staff member. I would highly recommend stopping by, customer service was exceptional and everyone was friendly.

I love 5.11. Make sure to look for the ‘local patches’ that are unique for each state they operate in. They’re fun to collect and usually have unique references to the area in question. Staff is always friendly and helpful.Also make sure you go early in the month to make sure you get the patch of the month!Their selection of goods differs slightly between stores though.If you want a better selection of clothes, go to the downers grove store.If you want a better selection of patches and gear, go to the Schaumburg store.Lastly if you’re looking for hats, odds and ends, pouches, amp gearsets, head to Gurnee.

I didnt buy anything just looking but if u need 5.11 tactical gear then this is the place to go, the price seemed decent and the selection was good
