I ordered some banners for my Business, he collected half the money and told me 2 weeks it would be completed. Its been a month now and he keeps dodging my phone calls. At this point I just want my money back. Very lousy Business man.

Amos signs is terrible to work with. We made our down payment and then a litany of excuses for why they couldnt perform followed. They have done nothing to advance the work we ordered and have failed to refund our down payment. We have since hired a separate contractor to perform the scope of work Amos agreed to do.

The owner of Amos Signs agreed to make a double-sided hanging sign for our business. He accepted our downpayment and gave us a deadline(10-14 days from June 15, 2020) of when we would have our sign completed and installed. Over the course of the next month and a half, we repeatedly had difficulty getting a response from him regarding the status of our sign as we passed deadline after deadline. The first excuse(June 29, 2020) was that due to the pandemic, he had difficulties with the materials arriving on time. Fair enough; we understood, as these times have disrupted all aspects of our lives. The second excuse(July 9, 2020) came when we emailed him, only after multiple failed attempts to contact him via phone, stating that we would filing a fradulent claims report with our credit card company if we did not get a firm date of delivery of our sign. It was at this point that he claimed that a close family member had died, his staff member had contracted the virus, and the materials STILL hadnt arrived.I would certainly be more understanding of the circumstances(if they are true), if the owner had made the effort to contact us at any point. Instead it was always us that had to chase after him for a response, frequently going days without one, only to be told time and time again that some obstacle had delayed the progress of our sign.We were still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and move forward with our order, providing that he keep us consistently updated(July 9, 2020). He emailed us(on July 13,2020) that he was going to give us a full refund and asked that we give him until July 24th, 2020 in order to complete the reimbursement process. I am a small business owner as well, I understand that sometimes you cant free up capital immediately; so, we told him that we would check our credit card account for our refund on July 29th, 2020. As of July 31, 2020, there is no evidence that he has taken any action to return the money that he took from us and we will be moving forward with our next step to recoup our losses.I am disappointed that things had to come to this point. I am a huge supporter of local business and Amos Signs had many solid reviews up until recently, where it seems that others are experiencing similar situations to mine. I hope that Amos Signs can correct their course before it ruins their business entirely.

BUYER BEWARE:We recently used Amos Signs to put up our sign for Dolce Cafe in the fall of 2019. Dealing with Amos Signs has been a nightmare from the very beginning. I have to preface this by saying that Craig is a genuinely nice guy. I chose to deal with him because he has been in business on the Coast for more than 30 years, and the price was right.I should have known that I would get what I paid for.He told me that his prices were so low because he orders the graphics and letters from a third party 3D printer and then installs himself. They are guaranteed (supposedly) and will last for a number of years.I began the ordering process in late July of 2019. It took until the 16th of October to receive my sign. I was originally told that the letters and graphics would be ordered and take about 3 weeks to come in. My expected date of installation would be the first week of September when our space became available. This would have allowed the thousands of daily passersby to become curious about the new tenant. Instead, I had to answer numerous questions about where we were located because there was no sign up for nearly a month after we opened. As the original date of installation passed, I began to call for updates. He refused to answer the phone and communicate the reason for delay with me. I drove by his shop to inquire and found a poorly cut set of letters that was clearly done by hand and covered in what appeared to be adhesive vinyl. I was livid, as I was told that the letters would be laser cut and painted by a third party. Only after texting that I would give an honest review and begin the small claims court process for my deposit did he respond. It took numerous texts before he finally revealed that one of his employees destroyed the letters by backing over them with their bucket truck. I have NO IDEA why they were on the ground behind the truck, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Putting two and two together, I realized that he intended to put the poorly constructed copy on the building and hoped that I did not realize what he had done. I assumed that he would reorder the letters from the third party vendor at his loss, but that did not happen. It would take another 6 weeks for the sign to be put on the building. Despite all of our back and forth, and what I assume must have been his own embarrasement after the situation, he then began pursuing me for the final $300 balance immediately. I informed him that he was lucky that I didnt sue him and paid the balance.I assumed that would be the last I heard of Amos Signs, but during our recent storm on April 28, the sign FELL OFF the building. It barely lasted 6 months. Despite the fact that it fell over a dozen feet, it was not damaged, and left in the company of the landlord. I messaged Craig on Friday, May 1 after debating for two days about whether or not I should reach out to him. I decided (against my better judgement) to have him come out and make this right. He responded three hours later that he would pick up the sign on Friday, May 1 and finish it last weekend. I drove by today find that not only did he not put up the sign like he stated he would, he did not even bother to pick it up. I messaged again and informed him that I would be writing this review and that he should not bother to try and snap into action as he did previously. He has yet to respond hours later.DO NOT do business with Amos Signs. Your sign is a vital asset to your business, and I made the mistake of cutting a corner here.

Craig is the best of the best! He has been in business on 17th street in Gulfport since 1987. I had tried All Signs and Dunaway Signs and was getting NOWHERE when a good friend referred me to Amos Signs. He took my idea and made it a reality. He made me feel good about EVERYTHING. When I asked to see several variations before finalizing the project, he did it with no complaints and NO QUESTIONS. He made me feel like I was in control and he was assisting instead of feeling like I was being forced into his ideas. All Signs was TERRIBLE! Made me wait 3 weeks and then had work that looked like a kindergartener took 3 minutes to do. When I asked for something else, BREE got highly offended and started telling me she was gonna charge me an EXTRA $300 art fee- AFTER MAKING ME WAIT 3 WEEKS!!! REALLY??!!! Go to AMOS SIGNS for ALL your sign needs. He is SURE to value your business. THANKS CRAIG!!!!
