I built a house 2 years ago and the one vendor I could always rely on was Compton & Sons! They always showed up, prices never varied from the original quote (a whole kitchen can be expensive) helped me to chose the right appliances for me, worked with my cabinet company to make sure everything looked great and installed my fabulous appliances without a hitch. Truth be told, I had a big problem with a dishwasher; it happens. Compton’s worked it out beautifully. They really stand behind their products and service. Will was great, as was everyone else. Very highly recommend.

You can park beside the big motorhome bus and sleep and they well knock on your door around 7 in the morning to get you unloaded great place

First off I never leave google reviews, but this has been a terrible experience. I ordered and paid for my appliances in full a year ago. Some of the appliances finally came in and the dishwasher never showed up and the hood vent was broken. I reached out via email with the sales representative that I used a few times and never got a response. My contractor and I both called and they didn’t even know where my dishwasher was at first. Finally, 2 months later I get the dishwasher and the hood vent they finally want to send a repair person out to fix even though they knew it was broke when they installed it. Poor poor communication from them and upset they installed a unit that was broken and didn’t replace it with a new one. Just disappointed really in Compton’s overall

Even though I had issues with the appliance I purchase from Compton & Son, the excellent customer service I received; top the aggravation I had with my appliance. I recommend this company 100% because they stand behind their products. Meghann gave me weekly updates, to let me know that the long wait was beyond their control, and by the time my range was ready for delivery she was very excited for me. The delivery crew were great, Will and his crew were very professional can very careful with my floors and my house in general. Congratulation Compton & Son for an amazing staff, and keep up the good work.Millie

We moved to Gulfport from Chattanooga and ordered appliances over the phone. Worried about getting a refrigerator right now and ours apparently didn’t come in so they gave us a similar one with a slightly higher price at no extra charge. Thank you!

I received the wrong appliances. I paid $1700 for delivery and installation. Awful job. I installed 2 of the appliances myself

Appliances that were scheduled for install are either broken or backordered, and customer service from this company has been horrible. Trying to get a call back or a straight answer has been like pulling teeth. The install guys are the only saving grace for this company.Update: We were given a gas dryer when both estimates I have say electric. The install guys apparently didnt notice there is no gas hook up in the laundry room and left it. We move in, the dryer doesnt work. We called the install manager who was going to call us back to see if he had another one in stock. A few days later, no call back. When I called Will, he said it will take 4-6 weeks for one to come in stock. Takes no responsibility because he doesnt check estimate tickets, only his order tickets. Save your money and go anywhere else. This has been an nightmare.

The young man working this showroom is arrogant and rude. I will not be going back. We have purchased from them before for our outdoor kitchen but after being treated so rudely, will not be back. It’s sad because we like to shop local.

Everyone I spoke with at Compton & Son was pleasant and extremely helpful, the install team was very nice and took great care during the installation to make sure everything was done right. I would certainly choose Compton & Son again for any service they are able to provide.

Ive been trying to get in contact with someone to inquire about some appliances for several weeks. Either the phone doesnt get answered or someone from the sales staff will call you Yeah right, still waiting.

Called to inquire about a brand of washing machine and dryer because it was not advertised on their website. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude and I asked if they carried the brand I was looking for, he said NOPE, and HUNG UP. I also had other questions that I didnt get the opportunity to ask. They lost a potential customer.

In Feb of 2013, I brought a brand new washer, and dryer, stove , and fridge, since then a repair guy has been to my house 6 times to repair the washer, to no avail, I have contacted Comptons regarding this issue, and there answer was to sell me another washer at there cost, and the manager didnt even call me not once, my saleswoman did all the calling, I dont know about yall, but I dont support a company that dont behind there product, less alone dont call you themselves, I expected a call from the manager themselves, but to no avail, Poor Poor customer services, but if I had read the reviews, I would have saw all the bad things people had to say about Comptons appliances!
