This was a fun outing for the kids. They loved the hay ride, the bales of hay to jump on, the barn which had a hay playground with slides. I enjoyed taking pictures and picking pumpkins. The donuts are delicious.I found the setup however a little confusing and there were no signs or ppl to ask. There are two doors and admission booths so if you are with a group make sure you know which one. The prices for a group or individual are very different so make sure to specify when you pay. The petting zoo was fenced and there was no one around to let us in. The store is very messy. I think a nice antique corner would be interesting.I also recommend wearing pants bc the hay is actually quite scratchy. I also recommend filling up gas somewhere else, nearby gas stations were 20 cents more than elsewhere. Also recommend wipes for the pumpkins and your hands.Overall I recommend it as a trip, especially ages 4-8.

My mother took me here when I was a child and I went here on school field trips. 💕 Now I get to bring my children and husband to this happy little place. 😁 No matter how many times we come, its always wonderful. There is a really big hay barn that everyone has a blast in. Trying to climb, keep your balance and then falling with your children is just hilarious and moments that will never be forgotten. There is a little area with animals by the barn, so cute! There is a beautiful sunflower maze too! 🌻 The hayride is always awesome, you go hunting for your own pumpkins. 🎃 🚜 They have the best donuts and goodies in the store 🍩 bring extra money 😊

Super disappointed about this place today. We have been coming for 25 years to this place. The hayride was only 2 minutes long, they pretty much drove you to the parking lot and that was it. All the pumpkins were already off the vines in piles so searching for your own pumpkin in the field was not an option. The line for the bakery was way out the door. You used to have a variety of donuts and cookies to pick from and now you don’t. They don’t even have to go boxes anymore. They seemed way under staff in the kitchen/bakery areas. There has been no apple cider the past 2 years we have gone. They took the little hay maze away that you could crawl through. There was no sunflower maze, the corn maze was a one way path that had a dead end so all you did was turn around. For $70 it was NOT worth it! Very disappointed how down hill this place has went. Only fun thing my 3 year old did today was the hay barn. I think we will be finding another place to go in the future.

We love our annual trip to Circle S! The donuts are always delicious, staff friendly, and hay barn a blast! As some other reviews have mentioned, the bees and yellow jackets were definitely present, but just when you were eating something sweet (eg: the apple juice and donuts.) We just left the tables and ate our snacks away from the food area and it wasnt too bad. Weve seen a lot of yellow jackets all over Columbus this year (Zoo, Conservatory, splash pads, etc.) so you cant really fault the farm as they have yellow jackets traps and such set up, so clearly trying to deal of the problem. They did get rid of the small hay tunnel/maze this year, but have fun climbing hay stacks and activities in its place. I actually prefer the new set up. I can see my toddlers and dont have to wonder if they went out a different exit than they entered. Thanks Circle S!!

I was SHOCKED to see that Circle S had multiple traps full of dead bees! They had sticky strips w bees all over them and a fly trap jar full of dead bees. How ignorant and horrific!! Everyone knows that our bee population is in serious danger & NONE of us can survive without them since they pollinate everything. STOP KILLING bees Circle S since wouldn’t have a farm without them! Educate yourselves! Also the tractor driver was not nice at all and rushed us to pick out our pumpkins. Everything else was fine but I won’t go back because their bee killers

Tried circle S this year for the first time. We probably wont go back since it was a bit disappointing. They were out of apple cider, but didnt take it off their road sign. The corn maze was all beat to heck. We couldnt tell where the actual exit was because there were so many holes. The sunflower maze was so short it barely came past our knees. The petting zoo consisted a few goats that you couldnt pet. Stood in line for a few minutes to ride the hay ride and people behind us were smoking despite the large no smoking sign. Not only am I allergic to cigarette smoke, but Im also pregnant. We left the line, gave our hayride tickets to someone else and promptly left. We wont be going back. Paid entirely too much for this subpar experience. They arent Lynds for sure.

It was a nice farm and had plenty of cute benches to take pictures on. Two of the employees were really nice and welcoming. It was a bright sunny day and got hot so my group moved a few chairs to the only shaded area. Which we would have moved back so I did not appreciate them sending someone over to us to tell us to put the chairs back when we were done. They also said a few times as we were leaving to remember to check out at the barn to make sure we didnt take to many flowers. It was quite insulting and rude. Once I spoke my clear and perfect English the lady telling us to stop at the barn said come back for Pumkin time. Im not sure if Id go back as some of the employees were rude. Theres definitely other farms Id take groups to instead of this one.Cute little storeThe seating has no shadeNice cold water to wash hands and fill bottles

Be aware of the bees! Im sure there is nothing they can do about them, but surrounding the food area, tent, and trash cans, there is a million bees. I was disappointed in the fact that we were supposed to get cider with our doughnut yet instead they gave us a small juice cup of apple juice. I wouldnt of minded it if they had stated that. Two completely different tastes if you ask me and I dont care much for apple juice. The doughnut was fresh and soft. The doughnut container did have bees flying in it. So some of the bees had landed on the doughnuts. They had props to take pictures some hay and slides in their barn. There were strings around the hay that had become very loose from losing some hay. This was kinda dangerous as I tripped and fell from them. I also seen others trip and fall too. The hay ride was way too short. Barely went to the field right in front of us which was walking distance anyway and back to the parking lot to drop you off. I honestly looked forward to the hay ride so that was a big disappointment.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Paid $30 for my fiancé and I to get in this place and pick two pumpkins. The corn maze is a small circle that was easy to get out of. The Sunflower maze is just a small sunflower field. The hay ride was terrible. Took 5 seconds to get to the pumpkin field and got about 10 splinters because there was no way to get them off of the vine. Nobody wearing masks. Terrible coffee. Overrated. The corn “maze” was just a small square, filled with dead corn stalks. The pumpkins were all smashed and rotten— not to mention, there weren’t many to choose from! Then, the hay ride was less than 2 minutes (literally). Such a waste, seeing as how they have a HUGE farm! They could do so much more with it! Also, the pumpkin should be included in the cost because they weren’t that great! Don’t waste your time!

Great place for a family with youngsters. There is a hay bale maze that little ones can have a blast in. There is a corn maze as well. It is not too difficult for anyone, but it is created for all to enjoy and have fun in. They have chickens and baby goats to look at, and they have many many different and cool wood cut outs that the little ones can take pictures in. There are some kid vehicles that they can sit in and pretend to drive. We each got a donut and a half cup of apple cider with the ticket. They were pretty good, but I would have liked more cider. We also got a hat ride with admission, and if we would have paid $4 each, we could have picked a pumpkin from the field. The hay ride stops at the pumpkin patch so you can get off and choose your own. The barn is like a huge bouncy hay house. Climb, jump, bounce on hay everywhere along with two slides at the top of hay mountains that all could not get enough of. All in all, a great family time. $10 admission for each person. Fun for all, enjoy!!!

Very dissatisfied. I think it is ironic how they have a sign out saying “come as strangers, leave as friends”. None of the workers have been friendly my two years coming here. Because of that I only came this year because of the pumpkin donuts as they are DELICIOUS. Well they close at 7, and I got there at 4:30. I’m waiting in line for the donuts and they say they are done making donuts for the evening. Now how does that work when you close at 7? I didn’t even give the “pumpkin cafe” a chance because last year it was terrible and had a terrible selection as I was only able to get a hotdog last time. So if you are only coming for their WONDERFUL donuts, do not have your heart set on it. Tried to get a refund as we were in and out, but not possible of course lol. Overall a nice experience. My younger kids loved the scarecrow cave (a small maze of straw bales just for kids) and the straw barn. The scarecrow cave makes it difficult to know where your child is at all times, and had multiple exits. The saving grace there is that the exits are all on the same side.We were there on a weekday morning with our group, and had the place to ourselves. Expect much larger crowds and traffic on weekends. The kitchen sells food and donuts, and had canned soda and bottled water on ice. The kitchen is in the farm store, which also sells preserves and the like. Come prepared with boots and a change of footwear, this is a farm with mud (or worse). The pumpkin patch is where the pounds are actually grown, and theres not much grass.

I will NEVER visit this farm again for 2 reasons. 1. My daughter’s school took a field trip to this farm and the pumpkin selection was pitiful. We had a really hard time finding pumpkins that we actually wanted to take home. 2. The group of parents that I was with experienced obvious racial discrimination while waiting to receive our donuts and apple cider. The non minority patrons were greeted immediately, with smiles, and told to have a nice day when their orders were fulfilled. We were not properly greeted, our tickets were aggressively taken from us, and we were rushed out of the door. I was just disappointed. I’ve already suggested that we plan a trip to another farm next year and have volunteered to organize it.

Yearly, our local nanny community comes as a group to pick strawberries, take a hay ride and enjoy a treat. This year, I was greatly disappointed.I directed the group to park in the same lot as last year, because I wasnt told otherwise and I was just going off what I remembered. I parked and got my two nanny kids out of the car and started heading towards the market. I was yelled at by yards away and told that I needed to park on the other side, and that we were not to walk to the market. So, I pack up my nanny kids and drive to the other parking lot. Again, last year, I walked into the back of the market, where the cash register was, and was able to pay. I was rudely told to go to the front side, again, needing to redirect the kids even though I was half was there. The woman did end up coming to apologize, but it didnt seem sincere.I walk into the market and am immideately told by a young woman working that U-pick wasnt available today. I told her that i was with a group, so she directed me towards the register. We wait for the rest of the group to arrive and we start the hay ride. The tractor operator was the only kind experience that we had the entire day. Most of our employee encounters were just extremely rude, and Ive read reviews prior about this exact issue. I do understand that theres not a lot that can be done about bees but one of the girls in our group was stung in the face while trying to eat and it made our experience even crappier. The petting zoo is a joke. A petting zoo is where you actually pet the animals and these animals were not very friendly. There were only a few goats , three ducks and a couple chickens oh and I believe there were a few rabbits hiding in the pen that you definitely could not pet . Also the water in the pens for the animals was disgusting and the Ducks were actually drinking what look like mud which was pretty sad. The straw Barn was the only perk of this place because my two-year-old granddaughter absolutely loved it. The sunflower maze was a joke as well. My husband and I have come every year with our daughter since her birth and each year we grow more and more tired of the conditions. We have continued out of tradition; however, we will start looking around for a different farm next year. Circle S stays open due to its history as an outstanding business and people like us who go out of tradition. We have sadly watched as prices increased to crazy amounts per person all while quality has decreased...for example, in the 90s when I started going, everyone received with entry a free pumpkin, real apple cider, and a real pumpkin donut. Now you must pay extra for everything if coming on the weekends and those wonderful fresh harvest favorites have been replaced with cold cake donuts and generic apple juice. Not exactly a down on the farm experience...more like going to Kroger. Also, you must pay for your pumpkin in addition to admission these days. The pumpkin patch is TERRIBLE year after year. This is an observation made over 7 years, so please dont blame summer weather, which has varied over the years. Im not so sure that food is kept at safe temperatures either and there are bugs all over the baked goods. Yes, as others have warned there are swarms of bees EVERYWHERE!!! They are aggressive if you have food and make your experience trying to eat HELL. Emptying trash cans regularly and properly storing food may help; although, I hear there are bee hives near by.,. It was sad for me to write this review as I love Circle S, but the public should be warned that they are not what they used to be. As a side note, some highlights are great pumpkin donuts that can be purchased (if they havent run out early in the day) at an additional cost. They really are amazing. My daughter LOVES the hay maze and playing in the barn. The staff we have interacted with have been very friendly, you are provided with lots of time to look in the patch for that perfect pumpkin (good thing because you are going to be hunting for a while) and it is just a short drive from the city, which is always a plus.

We were treated rudely. Even though many children, at least 30, were out picking strawberries, I was told my toddler could not go out picking because they were busy with orders. Try telling a toddler that on her birthday! All my daughter wanted to do on her birthday was pick strawberries. No other explanation was given. Out in the parking lot and on website, it said, strawberry picking in clear lettering. Thankfully, a young lady there with their kids told us of a nearby place where they would allow strawberry picking.I have been going here for years. The look on my childs face was enough to help me make the decision to never return, ever again.
