I thought the people were friendly the place is very clean . I bought several items I thought they were reasonably priced. Ill definitely go back and shop again.

Absolutely the worst store experience Ive seen. My wife brought in a rocking chair with the separate foot rest, an infant chair and a infant play mat all 3 in fair condition and barely used. Lady at the counter offered my wife $100 for all 3. She goes to do the write up and the manager says no do $19.80???????? Are you freaking kidding me!!!!!!!!!!! This is outrageous. They didnt even have the decency to tell my wife they was going to gouge her on price until after she signed. Then when my wife asked for the chair back they said its to late you already signed for it. If I could post 0 stars I would. If you have any morals do not shop here. They do not deserve the business. My money is better spent elsewhere.

Decent selection, but prices are a bit higher than other OUAC locations. Used cloth pocket diapers with NO inserts (so just the covers, basically) for $5? Bibs for $3? A free newborn hospital cap for $2 (see photo)? Whos pricing this stuff? I will say that their infant shoe selection is top notch (so many cute little shoes!!) and those prices are comparable to other Columbus OUACs. Big infant coat/snowsuit selection too. I have never tried to sell here, but I heard them offer $42 to a woman in front of me in line. I dont know what she was selling, but she seemed happy with the offer.

I can’t believe you have to pay for a bag if you want a bag at this store! Absolutely absurd I purchase things from your store & you can’t give me a bag. I thought a bag was part of the transaction better watch out Walmart & target will start charging for bags unbelievable !!! I’ve never post a review for anything but I find it completely unacceptable that I purchase items from a store & I have to buy the bag to take it home in smh

I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews!!!I personally have never sold items, but I have been in multiple times to buy. The items are organized fairly well, even by color! The items are also very well priced—$1 for a onesie and I purchased a Bobby pillow for $10 (retail value is $35).As for the staff, no complaints there either! Friendly staff who respected my service dog and were very helpful.You’ll be seeing more of me! Thanks a bunch ❤️

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER EVER! Nikki the store manager has no respect for the people who are shopping the store and she is the store manager! I will drive 20 minutes out of my way to not ever go to this location again! You cant enforce something when the employees of the store dont follow it!

I love this store! I always find super cute, hardly used, name brand clothes for a great deal. Recently took a stroller in to sell and received $40 for it. Was impressed, we actually only paid $20 for it at a garage sale! I also purchased a $300 stroller for $50 clearance. Don’t go In expecting to make money on your items, they are a for profit company. They need to make money as well. There are other options like craigslist and selling sites if you want to make more for you things! Excited they expanded! The store looks great! And as for the employees, never been treated bad. However, everyone has bad days, just smile and make the best of it!

This particular establishment has staff that are unprofessional and deliberately rude. Erica is an employee at this location and she needs terminated immediately. My family and I presented to this establishment on more than one occasion and this person demonstrated ill behaviors. We felt targeted as she on both occasions began whispering to an alternate employee while we attempted to complete transactions. I have purchased and sold items at Once Upon A Child, likely prior to Erica even being born and the personnel has declined tremendously. The staff stands around and conversates while consumers stand extended time for purchasing and/or selling. Training is in order for the entire staff at this location, while Erica needs terminated as she clearly does not appreciate her role with the company

Took in a basket of baby clothes to this location and some pictures and a couple of books. They put the bin on the counter and said this is what we can purchase from you not showing us anything and while my husband was checking out because we bought other items. I went over to grab our basket. I finally got to getting the basket out of the car and noticed. That the pictures and books I also took in to sell were not in the basket and aren’t on the buy receipt. This is not the first time this location has messed up. They also so picky on what they buy. All the clothes I took in had been washed right before taking in and made sure there weren’t any stains on them. They always say they can’t buy them because they are stained or worn out. Don’t think I will ever be going back to this location.

Didnt have a wide selection of items in my opinion and customer service was out of stock completely.

Have been in twice to sell items. First time, I took in a brand new bouncer that had never been used, and a stroller that had never been used save for one time. Was told they couldnt buy because of wear and tear. An absolute joke. Second time, took in some clothes that my daughter had never worn, or only wore once or twice, along with some spare clothes that a friend gave me for my son. Most of these clothes were brand name - GAP, Puma, Carters - and they said that they couldnt take them because they werent summer clothes and they didnt want them. They took maybe four outfits. Not only that, every time I have ever been to this location, employees can be heard throughout the store talking about the customers that walk in, making jokes about them, talking about how certain clothes smell a certain way. I saw them deny a womans whole box of clothes because they didnt like the smell of her detergent. I felt like asking if they wash any of the clothes that they put up for sale. Clearly not, and thats disgusting. You couldnt pay me to return to this location.

Would not let me shop with out a mask even though i have a medical condition. However the employees are not wearing masks correctly barely on their face. Thats ok ill give my money to someone else. Poor treatment if you arent even making employees follow the rules

I called before I made the hour drive to make sure they could look at my items same day, they confirmed. Once I got there two hours later they told me it would be two days before they could get to my things and to call on my way there instead of before I leave. I’m not going to pack totes into my car and actually start my hour drive if you can’t go through my items. I know stores get unexpectedly busy at times but this was very disappointing. They were rude and unprofessional, didn’t even say they were sorry. They told me I could leave my items there (after I asked) and I had one business day after they look through them to come back and get my items. With living an hour away I cannot always know when I can make that trip (you know, work, family etc) so that isn’t an option for me. This is the closest consignment shop for children’s clothes but I won’t go back. I would not recommend unless you’re wanting to purchase items.

I have been to this location 4 times and it seems Everytime I go the workers take less and less items. I dropped off a basket full of toddler clothes for boys and they were all nice and organized and clean. When I came to pick up them up they were thrown into the basket all crumbled up and some of the clothes had dirt on them. When I put them in the basket they had no stains and no dirt to begin with. There was no explanation for why they did not take any of my items. As a customer Im really disappointed for the service I received. I will never bring my sons clothes here again its not worth the 25 minute drive I take to get to this location.

This location needs revamped asap. Clothes are slim pickings and the cute stuff always has a stain. But yet I took in two boxes of stuff and they passed on a majority of it. Stating it was winter items but literally summer stuff was passed on. And trust me I use to work at OUAC DUBLIN so I am aware of the stuff they buy. Don’t bother going here. Then I asked if they had any walkers and they had one with a big stain in the seat that look like a poop stain. 😖😖😖

Store looks amazing! Yes I may be a little bias since Im an employee. But its much bigger and more organized than before. Theyve got new employees, who are great. Including me ;) these bad reviews should give us another try! We are better!

This is the only location Ive ever been to, so Im not sure if its just the location or the company as a whole, but they are the worst. They are very picky on what they buy, all clothes I bring are in excellent condition. They always have an excuse as to why they cannot take them, and when they do take some they want to give you 10 cents for clothes that are brand new and have a $45 tag on them. And then when I buy I find MANY flaws, stains, holes etc. Makes no sense and very backwards. I think I might try another location and see if I have better luck!

Poor selection compared to other once upon a child stores. Poor customer service. If you try to sell here from my experience you can spend as much time as you want washing and drying clothes to make them fresh and fluffy fold them nice etc take them in a preferred tote container and will buy 5 things out of 100 items in your lucky. So it is no wonder their selection is terrble. I will drive the extra 30 minutes t other locations from me to buy and sell they actually buy my items have good service and packed with clothing for a great selection and variety. Not sure what this locations problem is.

Place is horrible. This is my first time ever having them buy cloths/shoes and I can tell you it will NEVER happen again. What they buy the cloths for is not what they go on shelf for they try to make a big profit off of you! No matter what you bring in they seem to always have a excuse as to why they won’t take it doesn’t matter brand or if they still have tags on them. I brought in 3 bags of stuff and they went through the smallest bag and picked what they wanted to which was mainly crib sheets and stuck the other 2 bags to the side and told me to come pick them up and gave me $9 for what stuff they wanted! I will never do it again let alone continue shopping with once upon a child worse experience! Employees are also completely rude, and doesn’t care about your experience with them!

I dropped off a full basket of like new brand name I tems, a few even still had tags on them, on Sunday. I called Tuesday afternoon due to not getting a text saying my items were done and I could pick up. I was told that since I didn’t come in within 24 hrs of receiving the “finished text” (again, I never got one) that my items that they didn’t take were already donated and the items that they did want were already tagged and put out on the floor. I feel that a new policy needs to be in place to assure that the customer receives the text are in place before donating. And to receive such a small amount for the amount of items they did take is absolutely crazy with how much they sell the items for in store. I will not be back to sell or shop at the GC location and I will not recommend to any other parents.

Unfortunately, customer service at this location has gotten to be quite unfriendly. For example, some workers can be heard talking about customers after the customers leave (and sometimes even before the customers come through the door). Secondly, a couple of the older-aged workers sometimes can be heard talking condescendingly to customers and co-workers and have not had the most pleasant attitude when I have been shopping there. Lastly, I understand that workers are generally eager to go home at the end of the day, but a polite announcement over a loud-speaker that closing time is approaching is a better business procedure rather than just going up to customers and gruffly stating that theyre closed. I hope the shopping atmosphere will improve soon (and that some of the seemingly price-hikes will come down a bit).

Very good idea if you need childrens clothes and you have old gently used,doesnt fit anymore clothes. Come exchange them for cash to buy new. Or if you have no use for the clothes exchange and keep the cash

Took in some clothes my daughter had outgrown or things I bought that she never really wore. They didnt make an offer on everything but I was pleased with the offer I received for the items they did want to buy. I only gave 3 stars because when I dropped off I was told I could wait in store or come back later. I asked how long the wait would be and was told about an hour. It actually took almost 3 hours in total and Im certain I moved that process along by asking a cashier how much longer it would be. It had been about 2.5 hours at that point and my bag full of items was still in the same spot as when I brought it in. After speaking up, it took about 20 minutes for them to look over my items and make an offer. So my only advice is dont expect to be in and out, that was my mistake. I just didnt want to have to make another trip later in the day.

Well, i love this store and the location, each time i come to this location they greet me well,assist me if i need it. The staff here has always been very friendly to me at all cost. you guys get a five star plus from me.

The staff here is ruining Once Upon a Childs name & reputation, On a previous trip here donating brand new clothes (which I got $8 for) the girl told me that the other items I had in mind would definitely sell here, Today I have brought said items and almost everything has been declined. There are several other locations that pay more and arent so picky. Not to mention everything was machine washed and smoke free. I will probably just donate from now on, The one employee Angie it is, heavyset with glasses and messy hair, passes on all my items, even stuff that is completely BRAND NEW WITH TAGS etc. Staff, mainly her is very unpleasant to deal with. I wouldnt even give a 2 star. You guys should do better like the other locations! Also, I had to cancel my transaction because they wouldnt let me drop my stuff off and I have to work today. Good hour wasted on this experience!

Terrible staff. I have been in the store three times in the past two days and no one greets you when you walk in. They stare at you and then look away. Employees are not friendly when you need help, audibly sigh in frustration like you’re inconveniencing them from the petty banter they had going with their coworker. There was a line formed when I went to check out and multiple employees saw us standing there but didn’t alert us that someone would be right over to assist us or even acknowledge our presence. When the girl finally came over, she didn’t apologize for the wait. Once it was my turn to check out, I informed her I had a store credit and she ROLLED HER EYES and then asked for my phone number. She handed me my change and the bag and just walked away. No “thank you, have a great day” or “thanks for stopping in today” so I stared at her until she said “the receipt’s in the bag” — YOU’RE WELCOME OUAC. I will never be back to this location. Zero star worthy.

Store is much bigger now that they remolded. Customer service was not that good. Workers talking about personal business, items they were buying due to stains. I came in with a basket of freshly washed and folded clothes, was offered $17.75 for 25 items which included 2 jackets. I did agree to the offer. Better to get $17.75 then giving them away to the thrift store or sitting at home. One thing that bothers me like I stated I took in clean folded clothes I was given my stuff just balled up tossed in my basket.

The customer service here is a joke. You have until the next day at 5 to come pickup any clothes youre trying to sell or they will donate your clothes and give you the money of the stuff they wanted to buy on in store credit. The cashiers are rude as Hell. I went to a different once upon a child after my experience here and it was much more pleasant. Dont waste your time trying to sell your stuff here, if youre trying to make more than a couple bucks.

Love this OUAC. The staff is very friendly. The store got a makeover, so even more space for even greater stuff. I see a lot of reviews of people complaining about the prices are to high, but also complain they dont give enough for their stuff. I dont go to OUAC for name brand clothes, I go there because in 1 years time my kids will have outgrown their clothes. OUAC is still cheaper than Walmart, Target and even thrift store. I sell a lot of my stuff and dont expect much because I know OUAC still needs to pay their bills and thats how they keep cost so low.

The staff is always so helpful when I come here. Theyll even check for me if Im looking for something specific and just want to call in.

Came in for the onesie sale just to have them spread out all over and go to check out to find out over half of the onesies you picked out arent a part of the sale. To top that off the employees were not very friendly. I definitely will not be coming back to this location and extremely disappointed for the first time coming to any once upon a child this was not a good first impression.

Very rude staff , was not greeted when walking in , had a few pairs of shoes to sell an was told because they arent in a container of some sort they werent touching them ! No where on the door or windows does it state that any an all items need to be in a container what so ever ! The girl working in there named Mackenzie was the rudest person Ive ever come in to contact with ! I love the store but their employees need some real work on customer service an how not to speak to a customer ! More then likely will not be returning because of the employees !!!!!!

Terrible. I have brought in things they were asking for only for them to try to rip me off. I took in a convertible pack and play, it was a bassinet if you wanted or could be converted into just a regular play pen, it also had a vibrating setting that went under the mattress to help sooth a child to sleep, it had a night light and sound maker. The item also had a diaper changer that is optional to have attached with diaper and wipes holder. This was almost 400.00 dollars when i bought it. I used it TWICE!! i still had original box and the graco travel bag it came with to pick up and go. they offered me thirty dollars. I asked them what they would sell it in store for and she said 65.00. The girl was getting caught in a lie because when i dropped it off I asked the manager how much they give for the larger items and she said they sell it for 50% of the price they get from researching it and then give me 50% off the floor price. Well I looked it up and did quite the research and tried to find the lowest price it was going foir. 299.99 is the LOWEST this pack in play. I think some of the hobos they hire there

Employees are usually rude... Do not try and sell items here it will be a waste of time. We bought a bumbo seat for 25 dollars my son used it maybe 5 times tried to sell it back a month later and they said it was in poor condition. Most everyone we talk to has had a bad experience here.

Great place for finding inexpensive clothes for a quick growing baby. Nice way to make a little extra cash as well.

Because 2hoodys were still damp on the top of my daughters out grown clothes(cause i folded them out the dryer then came here)they told me they would not take or look at the rest lol, had a whole bag of Shoes they didnt even look at. I stopped coming to this place years ago I seen they did upated so thought to come back what a waste of time, Maybe they should stop standing around talking about the moms and do there job. I dont even want to give this place a star.

MANAGER SUCKS!!!!! So I’m the next one in line waiting because there’s only one cashier and 4 other behind her checking out clothes. Well the manager comes from behind to ring out a young lady even though I was waiting. After she gets done, she walks away as if I’m not even standing there, and this was the manager. I only know this because I asked for the manager after I get a cashier and she walks up.

Stains are on the clothes that they sell, (which are at an unreasonable price). I will not be returning to this location.

I took in 2 baskets of clothes and toys, the girl waiting on me was really short with me, I looked around the store at the toys, I thought they were a little high priced but I needed some newer things for the kids to play with so a bought 3 toys totaling $27. when I went to check out the one girl that had been short with me earlier started to do the same thing again, treating me like a dumbass but a different girl stepped and was very nice checking me out. I left and I called later in the day to see if my they had finished with my things and the girl was down right rude. The women that checked me out at the end was nice enough but they only bought 4 things for $2.50. total waste of my time and gas boxing the clothes up and driving out of my way to go there. when I got the toys home I discovered one of them is broken.

This place is a joke. There rude, they wont take anything. And what they do buy, tbey dont want to pay for them. They said they wouldnt take sleeping because its warm out. My son wears sleepers are year around to bed. I will not be going back here to buy or sell.

The service here was pretty bad, theyre pretty rude here. I had lots of toddler boy size 3 clothes and they told me there was just not a big demand for them although I could tell she didnt even go through half of them. I would not go here again.

Much smaller location than other OUACs that Ive been to. Seems disorganized and overpriced. I have no experience selling items to them as I havent done it.

Terrible Service, my wife had bought a toddler bed from there in February 2015 for $42. In July our daughter had outgrown the bed so we decided to take it there and resale the it back to them, the woman and 2 other girls in there were the most rude people we had ever dealt with when it comes to customer service. She called in the morning to see if they would take it back, the woman said yes, and if it is took apart, bring all the screws with you. So when she got to the store the woman made her look like a fool from the moment she walked through the door. She said that she could not help my wife but she needs to put the bed together, my wife didnt bring a screw driver with her cause earlier the other woman said she did not need it. they also turned another man away who had brought some clothes to sell telling him they were out of season, without even greeting the man. Needless to say this is the worst used or thrift store I ever ever been. I will be calling corporate to complain about the woman and the little teenage girls working tonight on July 14th
