Aldis always has great prices and a good selection! You wont find everything here but the store brands are very comparable to name brands. I have always enjoyed shopping here.

Aldi is always a surprise. Sometimes they have everything you want and then they dont or you get a funny brand instead and hope for the best. I have a few things that i wont compromise on and have tried the odd brands. Almost all are okay but I dont think I can ever rely on Aldi exclusively. Their produce is great and the price for everything is way less. The packing your own bag is no longer unusual and i dont mind since the prices are so low. They have a center aisle full of houseware type stuff that has good bargains. I like Aldi 😃 but only 2/3 of my shopping gets done there. Try it. Its not bad at all. I first went to Aldi in Ireland and it was almost exactly the same layout as the one in Groton.

Cheap products with good quality. Just dont forget to bring your own bags

Aldis in general is a fantastic chain of stores and this particular Aldis is my favorite! They generally are good produce and a excellent selection of aldi products (please note that aldis is not exactly comparable to standard grocery stores. They do not have as many options or as many items but this helps reduce prices on the items they do cary). I shop here regularly and would recommend to anyone.

I absolutely love ALDI this isnt an expensive convenience/grocery store like place to buy food!! In fact ALDI has a pretty wide range of variety of food to choose at really low prices OMG one gallon on milk is like $2.50. Only problem is it can get cluttered with people. Only problem is it should be a bigger store. Friendly employees always have had the up most respect and always willing to help out if you to find anything.

I love all these cuz I can get a lot of organic stuff there for a very good price, there are of course things that they dont have that I get at other stores. But its really hard to explain Aldis you just have to go and check it out!

Aldis is always a great place to shop If you are looking to save money

Love Aldis but this location is different setup as Lisbon. Dont like at all you come straight into fruits and vegetables. So unsanitary being right near the door. Also the crowd just coming in at nine am was absolutely redic. No manners totally rude. No distance. No one follows direction. The food is the same but not always the quality. Might avoid this location. One thing i dont like is you feel very rushed at the register and for someone with disabilities it isnt always easy to go fast. Plus the cashiers just throw the food in your cart and not much customer service there...but great deals so guess you have to sacrifice other things.

This Aldi is good but Waterford is abetter stocked, staffed and is cleaner. The parking lot here is also a bit crazy. Half the time Ive been here at night there is a fight in the parking lot. Aldi always has great deals tho, just dont go with a hard list of groceries. I like Aldi the most when I havent decided what to cook yet. 🤗

Good prices, but inventory is limited. Quality of items is very good for the most part. Fellow shoppers seem to have some problem understanding that masks need to cover mouth AND nose and what arrows on the floor mean. Employees very nice.

Good deals good variety good amount of items new and old standbys. Seasonal items are great for Gifts and household and a lot of personal items. Shoes clothing and etcSaves another stop to another store to buy something. I love it.

Saturday night and the place was busy, but all four registers were open ! The interior is very well lit and clean, with plenty of room to go around other shoppers.We have been to other Aldis down in the Orlando Florida area but this one DEFINITELY outshines them for lighting and cleanliness.Cashiers were friendly and courteous to everyone.Worth the drive for the essentials !

Avoid this store like the plague... literally. They do not enforce a mask requirement! I love Aldi in normal times but wont be back for a long while.

Always has great selection of fresh lettuce and vegetables. Almost always find something not on my list to buy. Great selection at good prices.

Theyre is an odd selection of things, and am even odder set up, it doesnt seem to have much cohesion regarding where things are located, but Im always surprised by what I can find of I really look. Love Aldis prices and unique food selection. Their produce is usually fresh although on multiple occassions not so much. I like that they rotate in new products consistently...fun to try new things and they usually lean on healthier side.Id like to see them have a prepared food section to grab and go. Groton location does not have this.

Really good spot to get real food for a decent price. Weve went from shopping at stop and shop to Aldi and have saved hundreds of dollars. The price of fruit, meat, cheese, milk, chips... Or pretty much everything is extremely cheap. The quality is just fine. We shop here every week. Plenty of parking. Bring your own bags or purchase bags there. Fast service but no self check out. Staff is friendly and helpful

This is my new grocery store. I tried one years ago and it just wasnt what I was looking for. Now, I get it.They have the same quality stuff as other stores without paying for the label. Walked out with 2 weeks worth of groceries for a family of 4 for $130.

I love the one in Lisbon but the Groton location doesnt compare. They didnt rotate their produce. For example, a lot of their strawberries had mold on them. Thats just one example. I would highly recommend the Lisbon location.

Do 95% of my grocery shopping here. Love the products and the prices, well stocked. Sometimes I wish the variety were more or that I could get some of the promotional items more regularly. But honestly? Thats not enough to keep me away. In fact, sometimes thats the fun of it too. Definitely worth it.

Excellent values and very high quality off brand items. The produce leaves allot to be desired. They also have heat deals on good selection of house hold and seasonal items from kids toys to Christmas light.

Great prices. Great value. Selection isnt what you would find at a large supermarket, but there is variety where you would want it like with breads and cereal.My favorite part about this store though are the seasonal stuff that comes through. Fun interesting things that you wouldnt find at a normal grocery store!

Theyre prices are unbeatable. I always like their brands when I try new things. Ive had great customer service here. I like their bag policy because it reduces plastic waste. Only missing one thing - Aldi has its own WINE in other states, but not here.

Register people throw stuff in your cart. Trying to go to fast. Seems like they are pushing you out the door. No name brands. Some good deals but I dont know if its really worth the time

Aldis has reasonable prices but almost always have long lines.They have an excellent set up to keep the line moving though, by using each customers empty cart to place the next customers groceries in while the first customer takes their cart with their own unbagged groceries to a counter provided for customers to bag groceries at. Great idea.

I love shopping at Aldi. The prices are great, the produce is great, and I love being able to zip through the small store in no time. They have everything I need.

When you shop at ALDI, you have to know the prices of items at other stores because sometimes they are more expensive than Wal-Mart for example. If you are familiar with the prices than you can get good deals at ALDI. What I love is the products you cant get elsewhere.

Fresh fruit, produce, meats and cheese. Great prices! Eggs are usually well under a dollar. You have to check it out. Bring your cloth bags or buy them there.

This is a good store but 3 stars because they often are out of stuff I need. I stopped going here as much and use the Westerly store more often as its the same distance.

By now this store should be able toForecast peak time and appropriately staff the front end. At any given time there is no more than two cashiers.I went this evening and cashier 5 was incredibly rude!

Truthfully I was shopping at Village Marketplace in Ledyard Center (they carry a trusted store brand) when a kind woman saw the contents of my cart (I was sticking to the sales in flyer & store brands) and explained I could probably save more at Aldi. So, I thought, why not give them a try. I went to Aldi and was both impressed and discouraged with the selection of what I was looking for. Every store runs low on some items but the shelves were empty of everyday staples like rice, pasta, etc. They do have a good meat section, dairy items and frozen foods.

Ive been to a few Aldis and this one is definitely very spacious. Cashier works really fast and the staff is very friendly. Produce is like all aldis, inexpensive but hit or miss with the quality. Best to go on shipment days.. pretty sure Tuesday is one.. to get the best quality and mold free produce. The baby line at aldi is amazingly inexpensive and the quality is definitely there. $13 for a jumbo pack of diapers really cant be beat!

I usually enjoy coming into this store but today the cashier was beyond rude. Before she even greeted me she decided it was her place to tell me my son was biting the cart and when I corrected her saying he had a binky in his mouth she got an attitude. Didnt even let me keep the cart my son was strapped into and basically pushed us out of the way. Worst experience by far!
