The clothing and accessory options are great, even the sizing! I love that they carry larger sizes/plus size. I recommend trying on though, I can wear an XL/14 or even a 1X/16 plus size depending on the item. Other than that, lovely store and great staff

I wish I would of been able to receive my order. But the use of ontrac prevented that. Forcing me to again fight with them, them withholding my order, refusing to deliver, and ultimately sending it back before I could ever have the chance to enjoy what I initially ordered. While I do appreciate the style and selection of what appears to be high quality clothing. What turned me off the most was how dismissive the customer service person I talked to was of my concern about not receiving my order “ we will just refund it when it gets back to us” no attempt to even resolve the issue and send me what I ordered with a different carrier. And for that. I won’t return. First and last experience. Ontrac was just the final representation of unique vintage I had.

The store is small and has a large selection and plenty of dressing rooms. There is parking nearby. For what I went for, not many items were in plus sizes to try on, and those that were only were up to 1X and only one or two items storewide in anything larger, though they have a much larger variety of sizes online. Prices are reasonable for vintage attire. I specifically went looking for Halloween attire, and only purchased an adorable Snoopy head scarf. None of the Hello Kitty Halloween line were available in store when I went and I did see a few Halloween tees in store that I did not see online.

The staff here was very friendly and attentive. The clothes are really cute if you like vintage looking things, Ive liked everything Ive bought.

So upset! Ordered my bridesmaids dresses on Sept 11th was informed only 3 shipped in Sept 18th. They sent a tracking number but it would not work. I called today and customer service apologizes to me about the issue with the tracking. Tells me my 3 of 4 dresses for delivered on Sept 21st and had been left at my front door. Never received my order then while on the phone that my 4th dress is unavailable. So no call or email to say that oh and it wont be on back order either! Its for my wedding party! Im so upset I already had the flower girl dress being made to match. Then I get an email offering 15% off next order.... Not happening I am extremely upset!

This review is for their online store. They have the worst service. I tried 3 different times and each time was problematic. The first order took two months in total. One month to process the things they had in stock and then another month to finally tell me they didnt have the remaining item and refund my money. The second time they sent me an item that was different from what was on their website. No apologies or anything when I brought it to their attention so I could refund it. Just send it back to us and then well give you your money. I tried a third time and, oof, do I wish I hadnt. I ended up returning one item and another item after 6 weeks was cancelled for being out of stock. Ugh. But then they gave me a partial refund for both items. When I brought this to their system they claimed it was correct because of how their system processed a discount I used. The discount was a set amount and should never have been applied the way it was. I pointed this out multiple times but they kept saying there was nothing I could do. Ridiculous. Sketchy company, incredibly slow processing times, subpar customer service. Finally learned my lesson. Dont waste your time with this place. Shop elsewhere and avoid the drama.

Went in for the first time and everyone was SO NICE! Really went out of their way to be helpful and make the shopping experience fun and personal for my husband and me. The clothes fit amazingly well, and are well made. I cant wait to go back!

I am very unhappy with my first large purchase of your items. By your measurements/size chart provided online, the Ivory & Ditsy Floral Imogen Top shouldve fit me with room to spare.. IT IS TINY! I can hardly get my arm in the sleeve before the neckline plunges upward and covers my shoulders. It looks terrible and Im completely beside myself as I cannot return or exchange it! Thank goodness I listened to my instincts and sized up on the White Collared Short Sleeve Button Up Blouse because that is also unreasonably small. Yet, the 1950s Denim Blue Amma Suspender Swing Skirt is drowning me, Im swimming in it largeness. Realistically, it needs to be 3-4 shorter and also needs to have something holding the suspenders together. I will keep it and provide the necessary alterations, which I shouldnt have to. While Im speaking of the Suspender Swing Skirt, I can provide a picture of the unevenly sewn hem on one of the suspender arms. It is clearly not sewn straight! But again, I will take care of it. I dont have the time or patience to wait while you fix your (very preventable) mistake. Please rethink your QA team, thank you.

I am leaving a review on behalf of my friend for the online store. I love unique vintage and have shopped at a local store that carries their dresses. However our online experience has been less than ideal. We paid extra for shipping to get her dress asap to avoid any stress but we’re only informed AFTER paying about the shipping delay. We love that dress and still want it but it is disappointing that it might not show up on time despite the planning and extra shipping we did. The most unpleasant part is that the delay was only mentioned after paying, wish we were warned ahead of time, not after.

Second time I got the wrong order from them, I asked for a resolution other than just a refund or replacement and all they sent me was their standard cookie cutter reply. Not even a personal reply apologizing, just a pre made email reply for returns. Im done with this place! Dont order from them!!! I attached pictures of what I order and a picture of the poor quality t-shirt they sent me as well as my email and their reply.

Big store for the vintage (inspired) shopping experience! They have everything from the 20s to the 50s, day and evening wear.....Spacious fitting rooms and a big mirror to see the dresses from every angle.Lately they carry more and more bigger sizes and even the patterns improved.Great selection of shoes, bags, jewelry and other accessories for the finishing touch ^_^Very helpful and friendly stuff. BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a 1950s inspired gingham swimsuit for my teenage daughter at the beginning of March. When we received the suit the material was cheap and an underwire was poking out of the garment. The color was also not what we were expecting. For $106 (!!) this was not acceptable. We returned the suit promptly and was told by the company that we would only be receiving $88 back as our refund because of shipping charges and some other fee and that it would be credited to our original form of payment in 5-7 business days. 11 days after they acknowledged receipt of the suit we had still heard nothing about our refund so I sent them a message inquiring about it. We received an email stating that our refund had been approved and had been credited back. That was yesterday and as of today there is still no refund....not even a pending. So completely fed up with this company. Its been a month since we first ordered the suit and I just want this to be done.

Im shook. I bought a dress from them 2 weeks ago and was supposed to have it in a week. I called and the woman I spoke to said she was gonna upgrade my order to priority.. and I STILL HAVENT gotten it. I bought this dress to wear to my fathers funeral.. Ill never ever as long as I live bother ordering from your company. Now I have to go find another dress and hope to God I can get my 120.00 refunded from you. I even told the lady on the phone it was bought for my fathers funeral.. my father was a famous musician that just passed away, and I wanted to wow everyone when I got up to read his eulogy... smh. Ive been trying to call and the answering machine has no message capability. Also Ive send emails but they havent been answered. If this is how you run your business thats very sad.

Terrible customer service. Never received my product and then when I asked where it was they said they ran out and offered me a 15% off coupon. Seems like I was just skipped and they take zero ownership of their mistake. Not a trustworthy company. Owning up to your mistakes and showing you genuinely care is a huge part of trust. And this company just doesnt have it.

I love the accessories at Unique Vintage. On my last visit to SoCal, I wanted to go here in person to check out everything. I left with a cute retro umbrella and some fun funky sunglasses. You can find almost everything, yet some of the items are not quality when it comes to fabric on their apparel. However, its a great place if youre having a themed party or just want to have a little fun!!

I have ordered online from Unique Vintage for a few years now and I have never been disappointed. I usually purchase dresses and they fit beautifully hugging all my curves. I ordered my first jumpsuit from them and it looks amazing as well. I have had to return items to get smaller sizes and it was hassle free. Im would love to take a day and go visit the store.

Very original and UNIQUE store, with nice and efficient saleswomen who TRULY KNOW their job !! 🏆🥇👏They displayed sanitizers at the entrance so ALL the customers can use it before touching the clothes. At the cashiers, there are plexiglass dividers as well. All the employees wear a mask, and remember the customers to do so with nice ads on the walls.You can try the clothes wearing your mask on the spacious fitting rooms as well.Everyone is safe there ! 👍😷They keep the same styles sections with different outfits regarding the new collections they receive, and each of them are amazing !The prices match the quality.The most difficult part for me is to get out of the store without buying anything... and trust me, it never happened!! 😉😁💃💜

This store is more 40s to 50s style but they have a stunning 20s section that is very well-stocked! Theres a very good selection of purses, shoes, hats and jewelry! The staff is upbeat, and they are very customer-oriented. Best customer service that Ive seen for quite some time! Again, not true vintage, but whats there to miss? Fresh, clean style you want, and pricing is very friendly too! Theres a reason theyve been in business over a decade: they keep their customers HAPPY!! Oh, and the music is FABULOUS! Thank you to Ruthie and Sarah, but there were several other wonderful ladies that were so cheerful and encouraging! My daughter and her BFF left extremely happy, and will be repeat customers!

My dreams came true when I walked in this store. I was surprised at everything they carried from the 1920s to 1950s its just amazing. the best part of all they carry plus size clothing I believe up to 5X and dresses and skirts. The staff is amazing and very helpful and knowledgeable about their clothing. She even helped me going online to find something that they did not carry. There is such a variety of clothing you just want to take everything home!

Ive been searching high and low for the perfect dress for an upcoming party and decided to visit this store after looking at their stuff online. I gotta say I was amazed by all of the beautiful dresses they have here. Im a fan of 50s style dresses and this was definitely the place for them. The service from all the girls was spectacular and I couldnt have asked for more. I ended up purchasing a flapper style dress that I fell in love with. I also plan on coming back to this place in the future. Everything about this store was just perfect!

Love this shop so much! Im a member of their dress of the month club and choose to pick up in the store. I work nearby and usually stop in after while looking fairly grubby. The ladies never bat a lash in giving me the same kind service as others who are all cute in the retro clothes.This is also my go to place for formal dresses/ accessories.

Placed online order with expedited shipping. That didn’t occur, which is fine. It’s being shipped across the country. I only get half of my order. I email customer service regarding missing item. They send back shipping shipping confirmation, no mention of missing item. I send another email trying to clarify the issue. No response. I call customer service, they pull up my order and say the other part of my order is back ordered for 30 days. My event is 3 days away. I was not notified prior to paying for the item or later whenever the item became back ordered. They stated that I could order something else and pay for the overnight shipping which is more than $20 to ensure it would get there in time or get a refund. Everyone’s time is important. Not an awesome experience. Will not be ordering from here again.

I’m writing a review for the online store, not the store front in California, because I can’t write a review on the website itself. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered two swimsuits, and paid for faster shipping because I needed them before a specific date. They were shipped on Aug 5, and I still had not received them by Aug 12. The email I was sent with a tracking number and a link did not work, the tracking number did not work. I sent an email expressing my concern, to which I got a reply the next day with an email supposedly containing a link for tracking the package... there was no link. I finally call today, 9 days after the package had supposedly shipped (I paid for 6 day delivery) and they tell me they had sent my package to the store by mistake, and it won’t be arriving until tomorrow. I needed them by today. Will most likely not ordered from them again.

They were kind, patient and encouraging while recommending looks. There was even a point when I looked at myself in the romper and skirt and started to cry because I actually looked pretty and feminine, despite my weight gain, and Sydney offered to hug me! Definitely going back!‬

This is my first time coming to this store or ever buying from Unique Vintage. I was in need of a 1920s dress so, I thought why not give this place a chance? Now, I was a model for ModCloth so, Im comparing Unique Vintages quality of the clothes to ModCloth. I normally dont wear vintage clothing, but I went in for a need for a dress. First off, my experience at Unique Vintage starts off with me coming in and not receiving a hello, hi or hey, nothing. Then, as Im looking around trying to find the section where the 1920 dresses were which BTW they all kinda looked the same you know, flapper dresses. I told my love that I would take a gold dress because, its was the most settled looking, but still looks like a flapper. I knew that buying an actual 1920s dress will just fall apart because, theyre one hundred years old. I was... SETTLING for this dress. Were not allowed to try on the dresses or any clothes so I wasnt sure if it was going to fit me. I asked if I could return the dress if it didnt fit or if I didnt like the way it looked on me. Which BTW the whole store clothes is poor quality and expensive. Im gambling Big Time by buying this poor quality, expensive dress without trying it on. The cashier said no returns on those dreess. She said I could order on their website. I was confused because, she said no returns on those kind of dresses so, if I ordered online there would be still no return on those dresses, and I needed it asap not later. I was like, if I have to order online I will in another shop not theirs. The cashier said I could try to put the dress over my clothes to see if it fit. Um.. No. I didnt buyi the dress and found a beautiful dress at another shop and got great customer service as well. Dont waste your money on clown, poor quality clothes at Unique Vintage. Shop around if you have the time to order online, do it.

I love the 1920s and the 1940s though the store seems to cater a little more to the 1950s. I had to go shopping for Dapper Day and found this store online. As I was about to check out I realized it was local! So, I cancelled my cart and went to visit in person. They have a huge selection of clothing and in many, many sizes. If they dont have your size they can always order. I got a Barbie dress.

Parking is in front of the store. Check the hours. They opened at 12 Noon on a Sunday.

5 stars is an understatement! Not only was the selection far beyond anything I was expecting, but the customer service was top notch. There was always someone to assist with grabbing different sizes, zipping up dresses, making sure we could shop without having to carry all of the clothes we wanted to try on, but also there with outfit suggestions. I will definitely be coming back.

This is for their website: awards system is awesome! I buy so much it really is a nice benefit. Customer service is warm and easy to deal with. Ive had to return/exchange various items because of sizing etc. and theyve always been responsive and willing to help. Even when a product arrived damaged, it was simple to exchange (just had to take a photo and email it to the address). I can always find something here to suit my style and body type and get so many compliments on my choices because each item is unique and out of the ordinary from department stores. If Im ever on the west coast, Im absolutely stopping in!

I didnt really enjoy the store. The store clerk was disrespectful, and the clothes were expensive. A simple top costs over $38, and the most simplest of dresses were over $70. I would understand if the dresses actually looked worth that much. Considering the material and simplicity of them, however, the dresses should be at most $30. The fabrics used for these dresses were incredibly cheap. Would not recommend anyone to buy from here. Id suggest looking someplace else.

If you are looking for new and unique dresses, pants, tops swimsuits that bring you back to the 1940s to 1950s when actresses wore in classic movies. They also have adorable Disney style purses. The best part about this store is they have items to fit curvey woman like me and slender like my daughter and everything in between.

The clothes are gorgeous and pieces are beautiful. However the reason it doesn’t get 5 stars from me is the poor and rude customer service in-store. I made a big purchase online before 11am for a same day in-store pick up however before driving for 1.5 hours to the store I called them to check on the status and the call centre customer service lady said it will only be ready the next day. I was traveling on the evening and explained the same so she said she’ll personally go to the store to prepare my order - I thought what an amazing service. When I got to the store, I got really terrible service from all staff except from one employee who told me that she joined the store 2 month ago. The rest of the employees were terribly rude and inattentive. They even forgot to add one item I returned in the returned receipt and when I went back to confront them they were again rude.It’s very upsetting as I would have loved to go back to the store every time I visit LA but will be dreading the store experience!

Im writing based on the online store. AVOID! The shoe ordered is NO WHERE close to the correct size or quality advertised. There is a sticker on the bottom of the shoe that says size 7, but no where on the shoe in writing... (and it fits like a 5). Messaging and calling customer service gets you no where. Paying for shipping to me, and shipping to return, plus a 10% restock fee?? I will not be a return customer.

Unique vintage is great. Lots of styles to choose from. Excellent customer service. Some of the returns and exchanges policies are a challenge, but overall Ive been very satisfied! The 40s and 50s items are my favorites.

Ordered a dress online first week of March. It was entirely too big even though I went off the size chart available online. They did not have smaller sizes available so I returned the item. I had to pay for the return shipping which is ridiculous. All in all the whole process ended at the end of April when I finally received a partial refund (you know, minus the shipping cost). Shipping took way too long both ways. I live only a few states away, but it took as long as a shipment from China. The dress was pretty, so they get a star for that. If the item had fit, this would have been a different story, but it didnt, so its not. I will not be a returning customer.

Buyer BEWARE!!! The online store has a long history of credit card fraud and identity theft. They do their very best to hide these reviews but if you look hard enough, they are there. People get scammed by this company who live out of the state of California (making it difficult to prosecute) like myself. My credit card info was stolen by a HUMAN via telephone, not malware or anything like that. Just plain, old fashioned human THEFT. Nearly $700 dollars was stolen from my account, the person even used my credit card to send someone FLOWERS! The nerve! The dress I returned was never refunded either. The owner was totally dismissive and condescending. I WILL fight for justice. You will not get away with this, Unique Vintage.

I went into the store, and literally walked around for 20 minutes before an amazing associate helped me. This is after 2 employees passed me by. The place is beautiful, but trying to get help is not easy.

I wasnt too excited about the plus size dresses. XL was too fitted, there are no 1X sizes & 2X is too big (I know I couldve had it tailored). Nonetheless, I worked with a XL (restricted of certain movements... lol) BUT yes Ill be going back= service was key & styles are nice for a woman my size.

I love the store, but the ordering system is very broken. If something is surprise on back order, they cannot replace it with another item unless you cancel the whole order. If you cancel your order, you chance losing your items, which is what happened to me. So very disappointed to lose items forever based on a broken system...

I would give less than 1 star if possible. The Mr. and I went in today to look for a Christmas/ birthday dress for me. They did not have the size of the dress I was interested in on the rack, so one nice lady helped check the back and then gathered my measurements for online, but was pulled away to help a girl figure out a wedding dress situation. While I was getting measured, my husband looked at the pathetic mens section that was there. He was looking for his size but the rest of the associates didnt bother to engage, but were able to circle around us and give looks as if we didnt have the money and were wasting time. It was such a disappointing experience, especially after driving in traffic for about an hour. We decided to take our money elsewhere. I was able to find a gorgeous dress in my size at Vintage Galeria and the customer service was amazing, as always. I will not be returning to unique vintage or purchasing from them from here on out.

I never went to Unique Vintage but was across the street parked in front of the Vintage store where the filthy tenant stored animals and was evicted a few days ago. I will give Unique 5 stars. She has a great biz. Where l past, they had other peoples passport, dead animals and syringes among the filth left Not the same vintage. UNIQUE VINTAGE HAS ALWAYS BEEN OUTSTANDING. NICE OWNER TOO!!

Pretty cool place. Not sure about the quality. $80 for a dress that’s final sale and the seam is pulling apart already after a single wear. The headband that was about $25 easily BROKE... as if it were a fragile bone. Next time I’ll think twice about buying from here.

I would give it one star, but Sydney was so nice and helpful and felt genuinely bad about this....Literally no plus size. Everything in the store was an xs or small.... Ok... There were two dresses in plus. For a company that prides themselves on going up to a (very small) 5x...It was honestly incredibly depressing and embarrassing for me. I was ready to spend most of my paycheck and I was extremely excited because it was my first check of my promotion.Thanks unique vintage.

I came across this site and I was super amazed by the clothing that they have and the reasonable pricing. I had placed an order on the 15th because I have a wedding on the 23rd... Thought that I had enough time since it was 8 full days and I live 6 hours away from the business, but I was extremely wrong. I have chatted with two lovely ladies that helped me out but since they are not on the shipping department (I wish they were) they were unable to expedite the transaction and now I am stuck with not being able to cancel the order of the dress and not be able to get that refund so I can get something locally. Very very disappointing in the lack of performance by the shipping department.

Such a fun store! Lots of Gatsby/flapper costumes and accessories. Also swing dresses and shoes. I purchased a dress with blue background and white dots for swing dancing. And a flapper headdress with feathers. The prices for flapper dresses range from relatively inexpensive to expensive ($88-350). The swing dresses are less expensive.
