I got exactly what I wanted & found another thing I wanted that I couldnt find anywhere else. A portable fan & a floatation device. Yeah! The Gresham store is very well stocked. Nice staff. Not crowded. Good parking. Next to a lot of stores I shop at. Very convenient.

I stopped in here today to look for some workout pants Ive been to multiple stores for the last few days and not have found anything that I liked or anything that was comfortable. They had some pants that I really liked & I wear Adidas but there at another location so Ill probably go to that location and pick them up. Gabe was working and he was kind enough to give me the other locations and the number of the pants so I can pick them up. He was very nice. Theres a huge selection of all types of Sporting Goods anything you would need for your hobbies at sports.

For a smaller location, this store has a great variety. It is also the only one in the area that sells decent billiards supplies. The only flaw is their initial deal that they rope you in with. They let you know about getting a discount today if you sign up for the web alerts. They talk about it emailing you a weekly ad, which is not a bad idea. Problem being that over the past year (since I initially signed up), I have gotten an average of 4 emails PER DAY from them. It is a disgusting way to advertise the company. Especially when the workers want to push their metrics, so they try to tell you that it is just a weekly ad, not 10,000+ spam emails from Big 5.

Shout out to Brandon P. He was very helpful and assisted me quickly, even asking if I needed additional accessories for the item I was buying that I hadnt thought of. The store was well kept, had ammo in stock, and has provided great products with awesome prices. Everyone is friendly, will keep coming back.

Ran in for ponchos for an outdoor concert and they were easy to locate and priced great!

Extremely helpful staff. I did not look around the store while I was here because I was just here to pick up some items another had reserved for me. Norm took care of the transaction and he was polite, friendly, and efficient. I cant speak for the selection of items other than to say it seems like a larger store and they were the only store relatively close to me that had what I was looking for. I can say the customer service experience here was great and, if that is the standard here, I would certainly recommend this store based on that aspect alone.

The lady told me over the phone You have to come to the store to have us check the back stock for you, I mean...the common courtesy thing would be checking the stock before the customer actually gets there but I thought that they might have known that they had some in the back....there was a thought in my head that told me that they probably arent going to have the item in stock.. and guess what...I was right. Thats just laziness on her end, really... I am sure that its against for her to have customers drive across town to ask an employee to check for something that she could have easily checked.

The workers are always nice. The snowflake policies related to any weapon or ammo is not the workers fault but still sucks.

Anthony and Dillion were friendly, courteous, and helpful. Anthony walked me over to the items I was searching for. Dillion processed my purchase efficiently and quickly. Both gentlemen were genuinely cheerful and upbeat. All of the employees were warm, friendly, and accommodating.

The cashier made my day by saying that the store closes in 15 min. Ive had a long day of waiting, these kind of comments is music to my ears! On the real note staff was very on top of their game in the last five minutes i seen 3 customers rush in and instead of being hasty towards them they were greeted and welcomed. The staff around here knows how to ve people with the people, im definitely coming back for more shoes.

Big 5s daily deals are pretty neat. Even if nothing appeals to me, its a email I can look forward to browsing through.

Shoe deals as good as on-line. Can usually find a particular shoe in my size, which can be difficult.

Things have improved with Big 5. The last few times Ive stopped in, it was a much better experience than Ive had prior. This time today, all staff who helped us were excellent. Today my wife was needing sneakers. Stopped in at the 122nd and Stark st. store. They didnt have her size in the shoe she wanted. I forgot the young mans name but he called 2 other stores and found what she was wanting in her size at the Gresham location. We went out the Gresham store and foutnd another group of great staff.Another young gentleman brought out the shoes on hold and made my wife very happy. So much so that she bought 2pairs of sneakers.Very helpful staff, good sale prices, and a decent variety of footwear.Thank you for making this time ina very nice experience.

Im not a big 5 shopper normally , only because the prices seem pretty high for what I believe are seconds ,just my opinion . This time my neice wanted sneakers so what hell we would ... We looked she found a pair of bright pink shoes oh my God !!! . Well I convinced her to look other places we did ,and we also went right back to Big 5 shes 5 years old and stuck on pink . So we go back we seat are selfs no biggie the gentleman was helping another gentleman . We set we set I get up look around the shop keep is playing with a soccer ball , Im like what the hes a middle age man come on ! I say do you have these in 13 kids ... ? Oh ya , but they wont be out here . So Larry Bird leaves the stadium ..... Wait .... Wait Boom out comes the birdman shoes in hand drops them to floor and there you go guys with a smile he did ... Shoe folks dont help little kids anymore or what the hell? Anyway I bought the Dame shoes only because my neice wanted them .... I dont like big 5 and this is just my story lets not forget me and my neice were it in the Dame store . I m done with big 5 .
