This seems like an older WinCo. It wasnt too crowded. The layout is different from my regular one. On the west side is a raised walking strip that will keep you away from cars trying to figure out what they are doing. The self checkout machine was a pain, kept saying something about the salad not being there, so, I would pickup the bag and toss it down again... What I did not know wad someone resetting each time I tossed it down again. We worked it out but I think it has issues.

Like shopping here better than Fred M.! Great prices and great layout no so overwhelming. Only thing that is not so great are the prepackaged baked goods, I have tried a few different things and have had many of them very dry, but overall I give 4.5 🌟

Fresh, quality produce. Great selection for standard groceries. Huge bulk food selection. Excellent prices. Gotta bag your own groceries, but its not a big deal. Cash or debit only, no credit cards accepted here.

Whats to say, its a grocery. Has pretty much everything every other grocery has but most of its at better prices. What give WinCo an edge is that it has about the best pizza you can find anywhere, especially for the price! $10 a pizza - no one else even comes close. And its really, really good pizza too!

Winco is a great grocery store, I really like coming here on weeks when Im strapped for cash. Everything here is much cheaper on most things. Great buys everyday. I bought so.e apples 🍎 for 68 cents a pound where at Safeway they are closer to 3 dollars pound.

Not a bad store, employees are nice the products are mostly good, will have an issue with produce going bad and not getting caught is intervols( Cherry tomatoes are notorious for molding here) the prices are not bad compared to other stores near by. Will have a staffing issue in the later hours as lots of freight workers not wanting to assist the lone cashier so expect to be there for a looooong wait at night.

This I a very Big store there is a lot of will priced items were. At this store you can really make your dollar starch. The store is will maintained and will stocked. Things are easy to find here. The staff was nice they helped me out finding the things I needed in person.They now sell Frog legs at this location. The Frog lags are brand new as of today.

Always has good prices. The loose food bins and produde selection is great as well.

I’ve been shopping here with my mom since i was a little girl. the prices are cheap and they always have what we’re looking for. on nights we don’t want to cook we usually go to winco and grab a pizza. THEIR PIZZA IS TO DIE FOR!! seriously so delicious. the bakery is my favorite part. my brother loves sweets and adores the winco cookies and i personality love their croissants. the employees are usually very sweet. we’ve had one bad experience with an employee but we put that aside because overall it’s a great store.

So apparently they think they are more important than the bank because simply having an i.d and knowing your social isnt enough to cash a check that has my name on it and my information, they called my work and when my boss didnt answer the phone they wouldnt cash my check which is totally humiliating because my boss doesnt need a phone call to approve of me cashing my own check. so instead of being able to purchase all the groceries I had my mother had to pay for my stuff. I will NEVER return back to this store again. If not for being in a hurry I would of left my full cart there for them to deal with.

This Winco is so much nicer than the one in Happy Valley. I think it may be a tad smaller or maybe it just feels more comfortable so I feel closer to it??? Dont know but I know I would rather shop at this Winco than the rude Winco in Happy Valley. Have to admit...overall this one was cleaner too.

Most staff are pretty great. Good at keeping things stocked. Guy that does rotisserie chickens/deli on weekends not v friendly and seems incapable of making any other kinda of chicken besides bbq for the past few months, major letdown. Try making lemon/garlic pepper again at some point?

I love winco. They have the best prices, really good produce and meat. This store in Gresham doesnt seem to be as busy as the ones in the Portland area. Very clean store the checkout stands were really fast and had a great experience.

When I went here there were no baskets, so the only option was to get a shopping cart. Of course later in the day the aisles are completely piled with boxes so its impossible to get around with a cart. It was inconvenient for a small shop to not have any shopping baskets available. On top of that, they must have a lax policy since there were 12 year olds running around the store without masks.

Winco is a great place to shop when you want to save some money. You can buy a lot of stuff here much cheaper than many competitors. Their bulk section is, from my experience at least, unmatched in variety and size, and its always fresh. Theyve got a great variety of hot and cold foods at the deli counter, and their bakery has great options as well. Theres some items you can get at WinCo that you cant get elsewhere very easily, depending on what youre looking for. The employees are friendly, the store is clean, and overall, I have nothing to complain about.

Got refused service for wanting to buy alcohol when I’m 21+ for no reason other than what I assume is my looks/sexual orientation, just went across the street to fred Meyer and am now sipping on my wine. Don’t waste your time here.

All the aisle are laid out in a way that theyre easy to navigate without having to be near people.But never did I think you could buy cereals in barrels as a consumer.I got a good amount of caramel popcorn which was actually pretty good. Which for me is quite rare actually because I am picky about caramel popcorn.

This is our number one store! The prices are great and you cant beat the value! This is the cleanest Winco Ive ever been in and the employees are very friendly!

Nothing additional beyond a regular WinCo that routinely has the longest checkout lines, as Ive never got in and out of line under 20minutes. Typically its the longest part of shopping at this location - maybe just short staffed due to Covid, but guessing its poor site management.

Best place to grocery shop. Lowest prices around. You bag your own grocerys but its the cheapest place I ever found .Good food and reasonable prices. You better check it out before they are forced to raise prices too! My go to shopping grocery store! Amazing selections and large selections.

Im a 22 year old pregnant woman who just visited this store recently, and Im not pleased. My husband wanted a pack of beer and, like a pregnant mother would, I wanted to find a late night snack after driving 4 hours to Oregon. The cashier told me she needed to see my ID. Which, at first would have sounded reasonable, but wasnt expected because usually if I dont touch the alcohol, they claim they cant ID me. But obviously having driven hours to go on vacation at the beach, I really didnt think I needed to bring extra of what I rarely already use and left all the contents of my purse at home. I am clearly pregnant, and Im not going to be drinking. But this woman was adamant on getting my ID, so she had us walk out. Wouldnt be so bad if that same cashier hadnt sold alcohol to my friends (who had a 19 year old minor in their group) and even insisted she didnt need to see their IDs only 10 minutes after the fact.

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful.I wanted their 2pk of sourdough bread bowl loaves, but they were out.A bakery staff member was able to bring me the bread from the back with no issues.

Much better prices than Fred Meyers and Safeway. No coupons needed. Really helps to stretch the grocery budget! Produce is hit or miss. They often have spoiled produce on the shelves. There other food is such a good savings that I buy most of my groceries there, and hit another store occasionally for fruits and veggies if theres dont look good, or if theres a good coupon somewhere else.

Winco is the best! All of the other grocery stores in my town close at 11pm, which makes shopping after work (I work until 11pm) impossible. I dont always like to run into WinCo for just one or two things but have I have to shop late at night I will, I am grateful theyre open!

I think 2am is better than 2pm by far. Its not just the best supermarket ever its an adventure into the food world that most of us never get to really appreciate the endless combinations in all cultures. I would love to see a market offer a sample of somthing different every day never to be repeated and the subjected dishes that would a company it.it gets 5 stars because the consistency and pricing on subs and salads kept me alive and healthy through tough times and I thank you

Apparently its OK for a winco forklift driver to look right at you walking up behind his forklift to grab one thing and just back up! The guy working this morning April 12 at around 6am just did not care to say a word before backing up on customers. It is not even allowed having customers near your fork lift in other warehouses but somehow winco hires these people that think its OK to look at you and say Im going to back up with their eyes and not even say, hold on I apologize but I need to back up. This guy Apparently is the manager on shift and he thinks just because he is a manager he can just do this. Absolutely rude and downright disrespectful to women!

Just went and did my nightly grocery shopping and while the line was long, i left to grab a for gotten item and when i returned another employee had jumped on the register to make the line go a lot faster...hats off to the wonderful employees at winco foods in gresham...

Surprisingly it wasnt really busy or anything. We were able to go right in, find the ingredients and food we want for Christmas dinner with ease. And checking out only took a few minutes. No lines or crowd and it was very nice, clean and well-stocked. The only thing is we thought we got the turkey for .99c or something per pound and we were actually charged almost double that amount. Were going to call or go back to see if we were mistaken or if we were overcharged. Ill try to remember to update once we find out. So Im pretty sure, thank you WinCo!

Got some hot sauce that came in a bigger bottle. Only at winco. My son uses it daily. Very excited. Bought 2 of them. Also certain popsicle types only there. Very happy.

Good prices, good selections, and I love that they carry local goods as well. It is exactly what you should expect from a employee owned grocery store. Nothing fancy, just what is necessary to keep prices competitive.

Multiple customers in store without a mask. Employees dont seem bothered by it. When I pointed out a maskless customer to a female employee she felt it more productive to gossip and point me out to one of her coworkers while I was standing right there within ear shot instead of asking the customer to put on mask. I also, unfortunately, had to use the bathroom and watched an employee (female, just past shoulder length black hair) come out of a stall, put her hands under running water for all of 2 seconds, use no soap, and then leave the bathroom to go directly back onto the store floor and start stocking shelves. Customers beware. Pandemic or not thats disgusting. Ill be spending the next half hour wiping down my groceries with Lysol wipes.

Been shopping at WinCo for years and years and it is such a great money saver! If you are looking for local/organic type food, look elsewhere. But if you want an awesome selection of bulk goods, canned and frozen food etc. this place has it all at unbeatable prices! And they are open 24 hours, so you can go whenever it fits your schedule and beat the crowds.

Usually beats Wal-Mart in price on several important food items. only place cheaper would be grocery outlet, but Winco has a much more consistent inventory. If youre trying to save money, you cant do much better.

If I could give zero stars I certainly would.The checkout clerk was rude and very unfriendly at best made to feel quite uncomfortable. To say the least we were not impressed and will no longer shop at the Gresham Winco and I would advise others to do the same thats unless you dont mind being treated like a nobody and an absolute inconvenience to them.

One of my favorite places to buy my groceries. Prices are always lower than Walmart. Im glad to see they opened up the bulk food. And the produce seems to be getting better. They probably will never return to a 24 hours grocery store. That was the number one reason I went to WinCo.. But I digress as our country is being destroyed by a common cold, and the surgical mask has now become the modern-day dunce cap. WinCo is just another brick in the wall.

Like most WinCos, its super crowded on weekends and after work. It might not have your favorite brands, but I can always find substitutes. The big upside here is its open 24 hours, and my bill is typically half of what Id pay at freddies. 4/5 because they dont appear to be sanitizing as often as other stores.

If you have been to any Winco before you more or less should know what to expect when you come to shop here. I myself have been to more than a few different Winco locations and this store is typical for the company. And although this location stays pretty busy most all of the time, they do keep things clean and well stocked.

BUSY! Needs more cashiers, it was 4:30p and lines were backed up! Definitely has gone down hill. This is what happens when a company gets to big. Now it isnt any better than Fred Meyer or Walmart. Prices go up quality/service goes down. Sad really. I see lines and no cashiers but high prices it looks like a Safeway/Albertsons..

Not enough stock in the store before most people are doing their Sunday afternoon shopping and only a few checkers so my small shopping trip of like maybe a total of 20 items literally took me an hour in and out of the store . But here’s a positive part unlike FredMeyers and Walmart in the Gresham and Troutdale areas they have no rotten or moldy food that they are trying to sell so I have to give Winco a thumbs up for that tbh

My favorite Winco in portland/gresham. Clean, open spaces so people arent hovering over you. One way traffic is encouraged and somewhat enforced.
