Wow! What a spectacular mens store. Mr. James has such a good eye for what looks dapper. My 13 year old autistic son does not like shopping, but he enjoyed every moment at this place!! Mr. James and staff were so kind and attentive. My tall husband and father-in-law also found some really nice items that are excellent quality and pricing. We will be back!!
James Carter is prestige, professional, talented, and highly skilled. We only use his services for my husbands formal needs. He is the only person that I refer people to for their formal and business attire. He has helped many people sent his way in a pinch with time. (Think that suit still fits until the week or days before!) His alteration and talents are above beyond along with his customer service. Locally owned and the best puts him over the charts. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else!

Just needed a quick seam repair on a pair of suit pants I have. I submitted an online quote request around 10:30, 11:00 this morning, and James called back barely 2 hours later! (A great turnaround if you ask me.) The repair itself did not take long, and James was upfront about the fact that I actually tore my pants from the seam (😂) but managed to keep the seam intact. You can hardly tell they were fixed!Very responsive, definitely reasonable pricing, and very friendly, so I will definitely be back to check out everything else he has to offer. An absolute 5-star experience for sure!
James was awesome when it came time for me to pick out suits for my wedding. I had an idea of what I wanted and he delivered. I got a lot of compliments on my look from friends and family. And most importantly from my wife. He was very professional and helpful getting everyone ready day of the wedding. His recommendations on the pocket squares worked out great. He was spot on when he said you will need one just for your wife. And I did, she started crying as she read her vows. And I pulled out the handkerchief to hand to her and the crowd was in aww. It made for a sweet moment. Everything fit great and was extremely comfortable. I definitely recommend Empire Ltd. Haberdashery.
I love sending my grooms and their groomsmen to Mr. Carter. I love the service of a grooms reception that he offers. Many times it’s all about the bride but he does an amazing job styling the men. I have never been disappointed with Empire LTD and Mr. Carter I will forever support them.

Me new husband and I were just married in Greer, SC. We were recommended James and his haberdashery by our venue and I was blown away by his attention and care of his store! He was kind and friendly, offering suggestions for the suit choices; was able to get their suits even at a last minute notice; AND his suits were cheaper than what we had picked at another location! On the day of our wedding James did an AMAZING job preparing our guys for their big day. He straightened some ties, flapped a few jackets, and shook their hands as they left the shop. I have to say I went to Empire for the first time and was very impressed. I was greeted as I walked in and asked what I was looking for; I said I was prepping for a real estate career and needed a suit for an interview in the near future. He started with jackets then pants and within 10 minutes I had a suit and a shirt that fit perfectly. Most other places the store employees are sweating as I am tall with a long wingspan. Definitely worth checking out!

James runs the BEST gently used mens dress clothes store Ive ever been to. He will help you from the moment you walk in the door with any questions you may have. I dont understand how this place doesnt have a full five star rating. I first came here to look for a suit for my upcoming wedding. James asked what colors I was looking for, looked me over for a second, and picked out an amazing outfit that fit perfectly. I was referred to this store by a good friend, first impressions were good until I spoke to the owner James. He seemed aloof and disinterested in my husbands items which were of high quality. Never got back to me after looking at items, insulted me by offering me a meager price for shirts that my husband purchased in London. The morning I went back to get the items they were 40 mins late to opening the store. I met James and he was cold, rude to me. I will never recommend them ever. Poor customer service.
