Horrible place to get repairs. Had my zero turn serviced a few months ago .I am in commercial property management business. I was told no appointments. As I unloaded my mower I watched a gentleman unload his machine It was instantly pulled in and worked on. Curiously I asked the guy and he said if you tip the guy who runs the shop he will cater to your needs. Personally that is bad business practice. So 2 weeks later and I finally get my machine back. Right at 450 dollars to service unit. Highway robbery. My Kubota excavator only cost me 275 dollars at Greenville tractor for a air filter ,oil change and a full grease job. Greenville tractor it is for me . More professional and better turn around time.

Terrible customer service. Its obvious to me that if you arent buying a big ticket item Brian isnt all that concerned with you. I tried to make an order (over $3000 for a grapple) which Brian wrote on a sticky note that he could never find when I called to follow up. I was told it would arrive in 4 weeks it has now been 4 months without a single phone call from Brian. Personally Im glad because it gave me time to research. I bought one from everything attachments which is not only American made but located in North Carolina. If I ever need anything from the dealership again I will gladly drive more than an hour out of my way to another one rather than go back here.

I purchased an LX 2610 from Brian last month, and am overall very happy with my experience. Brian is direct-he will give you his honest opinion. An opinion that has the backing of many years in the tractor business. It took me about a month of asking questions via phone and emails to feel good about purchasing the tractor. Brian very patiently answered all my questions in a timely manner. I really appreciated the fact that he made me feel valued, and didnt pressure me. The tractor was delivered, the young fellow who delivered it stayed and showed me the controls.

If your idea of Customer Service is being disrespected and ignored and talked to ugly then visit this awful place. Rude owner. Rude employees. This place should be shut down.

I took a cub cadet weed eater in for repair. It took two weeks and $120 and wasnt fixed. I took it to a different place and found out it needed a new carborater.

Hey McAbee I can tell by reviews and your business hours you are not about serving your customers needs. I need parts today, Saturday, youre closed?? And close at 5pm?? You are a maintenance equipment dealer! Who the hell would be closed on Saturday when you sell what you sell. Utterly stupid.

Bought a Kabota lawn mower from them a couple years ago and they delivered to my house and it was ready to go. Great mower! Then recently, I decided to have annual maintenance done, and have a bagger installed. They picked up my mower, installed it, did the maintenance and dropped it off at my house all in 1 day. To my surprise, the mower looked brand new! They completely cleaned it!! It even smelled new! Thats what I call five star service! Going above and beyond what I had asked for! I highly recommend McAbee Tractor!!

I stopped in to shop earlier in the week and the salesperson/mechanic was kind, helpful and knowledgeable. (thats where the one star comes from).I spent a week researching online and returned, ready to make a purchase. This time, the owner/manager was the only person available.Ready to buy, I asked if I was being offered his best price (have to ask), his attitude changed immediately and he made a joke about if my offer wasnt retail then I wasnt going to be buying it. He proceeded to show me other products that were less than what I wanted. When I said I would probably go in another direction, with a snarky tone, he quickly said, youre making a mistake and walked away from me leaving me standing in the middle of the dealership dismissed.Yesterday I went to the next closest dealer and was treated with kindness and respect. I purchased more mower than I was originally shopping for.I consider myself fortunate to discover this early, avoiding years of frustration.

Worst customer expirence I have EVER received. Went there in the hot heat to get pricing for a tractor. We let the guy know it would be a few months before buying and he was completely unwilling to price it for us. He started throwing out estimates and didn’t even ask what we wanted. He seemed irritated that we were even there. I would NEVER recommend this place nor I would never be back. If they want to sell things they should get people who know what customer service is.

The owner is a very kind and giving man. He has given and given again in so many ways. Also the employees are great! I have watched them explain and make sure the customer is satisfied. Definitely recommended!!

Guess these people do not want to sell anything! I emailed them twice since they were the closest tractor dealer near me and they NEVER emailed back! So I ended emailing 3 other dealers who all responded in less than 24 hours, so I bought a tractor from another dealer and will just keep driving by this place when I have any other needs even if they could fill them cheaper.

After much research, I decided to replace my mower there. It was local & offered free delivery. I went 30 minutes before close & 3 employees ignored me, their priority was getting closed for the day. They lost a sale.

The reviews speak for itself! They don’t care for your tractor or needs even though your a paying customer, on top of that they are very rude and unhelpful. The owner out of all people is the most rude and will have your tractor sitting there untouched for MONTHS. And when you call to check on your mower they have a distasteful attitude. Don’t bother with these people because they truly do not care!

I would not recommend them for ANYTHING! dont believe me think Im just look into them before you deal there. on every outlet that reviews businesses they are terrible I wished I had listened to the advise posted. would have saved me the misfortune of being involved with this company.

I went there and bought a new throttle cable for my weed eater and they sold me the wrong one. It’s a 25 minute Drive there for me and after getting home and realizing it was wrong, I had to drive back there again. This time they admitted it was wrong and offered to ship the new one to my house. After a week the new throttle cable came in and it was wrong also. I took my weed eater back this time with me and they offered to take a look at it and get it straightened out. They called me two weeks later and said it was ready for pickup and there was a $65 service charge. I never agreed for them to work on my weed eater as I am a Landscaper and do most of my minor repairs myself. I can replace a throttle cable in 15 minutes but they got the most out of it. Also, during the time they had my weed eater I purchased a brand new Husqvarna weed eater because I needed one while they had mine. I had to take it back after 2 days because it wouldn’t idle correctly and I didn’t want to adjust anything to avoid my warranty. That was two weeks ago and I still haven’t heard a word from them about my new one. I will never purchase anything there again and would rate them zero stars if I could. It’s a very nice store indeed but they just don’t have it together at all. Lots of standing around and talking from the employees is what I’ve always seen there. Save yourself some time, energy and gas- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

If i could give a .25 star I would. I had called the day before concerning the parts I needed. I show up to pick up the parts and the incompetant clerk puts the set of 3 on the counter. When i asked if it was suppose to be 2 different sizeshe says no an actully look at the parts and saw they were different sizes. He informed me all he had was 1 of the correct part and he could order the remainder that would arrive in 4 or 5 business days. I asked if he could have them shipped directly to me and I was told no they had to come there first. He could then ship them to me for an addition shipping charge. My new parts are arriving from Greenwood tommorrow. Parts plus shipping is equal to what I would have paid at McAbee that i spent 1.5 hours round trip driving to.

Service department is full of clowns! Took a Husqvarna chainsaw there to get repaired. It was there for 5 weeks and I never could get a straight answer as to what was going on. I was, however, always told that it was next in line only to be given a different excuse the next time I called (typically a week later). Finally picked it up after 5 weeks and took it somewhere else. The latest excuse was the part we needed was backordered. I checked online and there are several options for getting that particular OEM part shipped same day. Stay away from these clowns.

ABSOLUTE terrible customer service!!Dropped my mower off, early April 2019. The mower would crank but would not continuously run. After 3 weeks and no calls, I went up in person to retrieve my mower. When I get there, Im told that a mower that isnt mine is. Its argued with me that this is my mower AND ITS NOT! Finally, my mower is found. Apparently the mechanic that worked on it broke an adapter. After having Mr. Mcabee himself tell me my mower would be fixed next day, still went 3 days with no calls. Call up there today, Good Friday 2019, and the female receptionist HANGS UP ON ME!!!So, I go up in person to find out whats up with my mower. I get there and the guy who is helping me is basically just trying to pawn my broken mower back on to me. Absolutely ridiculous. From now on, all of my business will go to Epps.

This place was a flourishing place back when the original Mcabees owned the business. I’ve delt with Mcabee since I’ve moved down here from New York State in 1987. Since the new owner took over it’s went down hill. Wait time on repair is ungodly. Only person who knew anything was Sam (I think that was his name but has since retired )in service or the tractor mechanic. Owner is very rude and selfish. Recently I’ve tried buying some things from saws to tractor implements and either the owner just acts like he doesn’t care. The other guy that took sams place acts like it bothers him to help customers , and doesn’t know jack about farm implements . Price is very very high and most any dealer can beat them thousands on tractors. Save yourself a head ache drive up to Hendersonville to that Kubota dealer.

Their work has usually been good. The problem is the amount of time they take to perform it. I have had a pulley replaced and a drive belt problem, on the surface a relatively normal and simple repair. Between these 2 repairs they have had my tractor for almost 5 weeks and no word of when they will finish. I think they are severely understaffed and in order to provide an adequate response time should hire more people. This is not an uncommon occurrence for them.

Refused to honor Stihl warranty on saw they sold accusing me of wrong oil mix. Stihl sent me to new dealer, Five Forks, who identified the real root cause and gave me a new saw. Save some grief and buy elsewhere.

I would give zero stars if possible. Owner plainly said he would let any tractor not purchased from him sit in the lot for months before turning a wrench, although he is a licensed Kubota service dealer. Refused to give him any business! Very rude!
