They get a star for being nice to my face. But nice people dont always make good business people. Dont take my word for it. Just walk into their store and youll see its a wreck. They are a whirlwind of incompetence. Ive tried to support our local business. Three times Ive tried and they have gotten worse, not better. This last time they took responsibility for shipping my firearm. It took them 5 days to take it the the post office because they were too busy. They took the gun out of the box I gave them and put it in a padded envelope. The gun and case arrived damaged. They did not insure it like I had paid for. They overcharged me for shipping. So now I know. Once they take your money, they could care less about you or anyone else.

Go to any other shop! This is the first review I have ever filed but felt it was necessary. A gun store down the street recommended I go to blade and barrel to get a set of sights installed on my gen5 glock19. Luckily he did not have the tool to get the front sight removed or it would of cost me $100. I ended up paying $50 plus tax to replace my rear sight which the guy did right in front of me, left marring on my $150 sight using a sight alignment tool that costs $75. As I said before, avoid this place! I will be going back to ask why my sight has marring marks on it! Palmetto state armory charges $10 to swap sights and leaves no marks to gun or sights in the same time. I’m a fan of the little guy, but this little guy should be charged with over-pricing!

I enjoy going to this store every time Im in Greer. The owners know their customers and greet them everytime you enter. Scott and Dawn really care about their customers and will go out of the way to make sure you have been helped. Not many places offer the level of training this place offers, and once you have been a customer your practically family.I recommend it to all my friends who may be in that area!

Scott and the barrel heads are the best! If you need a gun or ammunition this is the place where locals go. They are very down to earth and inviting. Never a dull moment with these guys.

Lost my right eye to glaucoma. Called to find out if they could show me how to shoot left handed. Was told they could do that and lead me to believe they had a range. When I got there the owner had 3 or 4 friends there and was b/sing with them ignoring me. I stood there for over 25 min before he would speak with me. There is no range. The store is in a strip mall. Very small inventory. NO service! Total waste of my time!

Went in with a peculiar AR-15 part and wanted to know some more info on it. Scott was so helpful and new exactly what it was 10/10 would recommend for anyone who need info, parts, and guns

Great local gun shop with an indoor range opening in February. Scott and Steve are not only friendly as can be but also extremely knowledgeable. Tactical training also available from ex law enforcement and military. Cant recommend more!

Ive been to nearly all of the gun shops in Greenville and have met a lot of helpful folks, a lot who I hope to never see again, and every type in between. I also spent a substantial amount of money purchasing the wrong firearms for myself in the process before I walked into this store looking for a friend and was greeted by the owner, Scott. The short version - If I had to send anyone, anywhere, for anything regarding firearms and everything related to them, theyd be on their way to Barrels and Blades. This is the only gun shop I have been to that has no ego, no crowded counters, and the experts clearly enjoy helping you, 1 on 1, with any and everything, however long it may take. If you support the 2nd Amendment then Id recommend you support this shop as well.

Great place to get an excellent education on fire arms use & their proper tactical deployment in self-defense. Ive also taken some end user & instructor courses there & my knowledge & my shooting ability has increased beyond my wildest expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a need to improve their shooting skills.

Took the Key Defender Instructors calls this past weekend. The course was conducted very professionally by Master Instructor Scott White. I would highly recommend anyone to take any of the courses taught a Carolina Barrel and Blade.
