Intial - Ruined my daughters first car purchase experience with bait and switch prices and high pressure sales tactics. Highly disappointed. Would not recommend.Update (rating changed from a 1 to a 3) - spoke with the dealership and clarified that the issue was related to the fact that the car my daughter purchased was listed as used because someone purchased it and returned it. The website was not as clear on the fact that the list price for used cars was reflective of msrp as it was for new cars and the actual price was actually significantly higher than the listed price. Although the final price ended up being closer to what was listed - it gave the impression that it was listed this way deliberately. The dealership has indicated they will do a better job in the future communicating prices of used cars.The other issue is being contacted by numerous sales people prior to coming in although she had an appointment with someone schedule. Hopefully that can be addressed in the future as well.

Great sales service from Joyce, we have purchased 2 vehicles from her and she has always been great. She is knowledgeable on the product and she is NOT pushy. Product selection is limited but that is not the dealerships fault. The dealership as a whole is good, no complaints.

My wife purchased a 2019 accent, after owning it for about one year service indicated that we would need to change the break pads as it was on an orange color indicator (like a stop light symbol system.) Of course I replied to the women, what she was telling us was absurd and not possible. Break pads on a new vehicle (based on my wifes driving habits) lasts for about four years. Six months ago, my wife was driving home and the engine light comes on but goes off after a few seconds. The car begins and continues to sputter for 10 minutes of so then goes away. We were told that it was bad gas and once we re fuel, it would go away. Since I know a bit about cars, I decided to but fuel injector cleaner and use it at almost every fill up. Yesterday (9/27/21) the car does the same thing again except this time exhaust fumes begin to enter into the car and continues to sputter for over 30 minutes until the car was driven to this service department. They found a faulty fuel injector but recommend the a fuel injector service for over $242.00. When told that the bad fuel injector is what has caused the carbon buildup on the valves they stated that this service was not covered under the 36000 mile bumper to bumper. I, wanting my wifes safety have decided to pay for this service but i can assure these people that I will never buy a car from Greer again and all people reading this be careful on the services that you are getting. Most times it is their way of making money by getting you to pay for a service that is not required. Only giving ONE STAR because its the only way that this can be posted!!!!!John near Greer

Find better mechanics. They couldnt diagnose simple issues. Not sure how I ended up paying close to 300 dollars for my husband to diagnose the car. Pathetic. The only saving grace was the service staff I dealt with. She was a pleasure and did the best she could despite so many incompetent coworkers.

Came in to get an offer on my car, offered me something low so decided lets get some prices on a trade. Salesman was pushy, telling me i shouldn’t be looking at cars around 40k. I asked to run numbers on a vehicle and they ran my credit when i specifically said Dont..! i had to leave for an emergency and was going to come back until i got a notification saying i had a new inquiry. One day later i got numerous phone calls about coming to close the deal… sorry but asking MSRP on a vehicle that is 3 years old isn’t gonna happen. Even in today’s standards…UPDATE: Hyundai of Greer had spammed to buy a car for 2 weeks. Every time i ask for the GM who responded below, always seems to be gone and i am told you will get a call back. Still at 1 star. You had the opportunity to correct it and failed

I told mama.white what issues I had with my old car and she told me well we’re going to get you and your son out of that hot car and she did just that. Unlike Kia the dealership that was across from them that judged me as soon as I walked in and never even tried to run my credit oh well their loss me.white ran mines and we are now driving a 2021 Hyundai thank you so much

When I called the other Hyundai Dealer Service Congaree Rd. for my Sonatas extended warranty issue. They said I would have to pay a $130 diagnostic fee and if they find out it is extended warranty-related they would waive the fee.Then I called Hyundai of Greer and they did not request any upfront fee. They took care of the issue. (actually the light came back again but they said to bring it back it comes back again)Very friendly service staff.Everyone else might have different experiences but mine was very satisfying.Thank you!

Would go lower if possible. Never had the paper work organized nor were on the same page about anything. Bought my car back in 2017 and had a trade in. They were so pushed to get the car sold they ask my brother that was co signing to sign for my dad (names are the same) because my father name was on the trade in title. (My dad said it was fine but obviously the bank picked up on it pretty fast when they tried to sell the call at a sister dealership) called me over and over acting like it was my fault that they messed it up. Not to mention the salesman selling my car to me answered a phone call with his wife on speaker phone, she asked him if he was making a good sale. He replied its decent not really worth the time (I know I shouldnt have bought from the dealership but I was younger and it was my first buy) fast forward to now and i traded in my car too toyota of greenville (highly recommend!) And Im still getting phone calls and text from HoG to buy my car after Ive told them multiple times to stop calling me. Very unhappy with my experience at this dealership. Wouldnt recommended to anyone!

Stephanie was great however i wish the person i spoke with over the phone didnt waste my time. I was told that if i brought my car over i wouldnt have to have a down payment because my car would be the down payment. I am disappointed to say the least. I advised over the phone that my car was not the best looking and there were issues with it and was still told i would be ok. Kudos to Stephanie for helping the best she could however the person calling people should not promise things that are simply not true. I risked alot getting my car there and thankfully made it home safely.

Spent $7k on a car here after being reassured multiple times (even by the general manager!) that the vehicle was safe to drive and had nothing wrong with it.Less than 30 days later having engine problems, its in the shop for repairs. Dont waste your time and money on any of their junkers.

We have bought a lot of cars over the years and I have never been to a more disorganized dealership. We purchased from here simply because we couldnt find the vehicle we wanted anywhere else. Otherwise, they would not have gotten our business. Keep in mind, they do NOT hold true to their internet sale price UNLESS they take that difference off the top of your trade in. We made an even trade and it still took the better half of the afternoon for them to complete the transaction without any financing involved. There is very poor communication between the sales associates and the managers and it shows and is very confusing for the customer! I wouldnt recommend them unless it is your last option like it was ours.

Not enough parking for customers. Not very responsive sales force. Setup an appointment for 3:30. Called and informed that i was in the parking lot. Sales guy Chris made me wait for more than half hour in the parking lot. I had to call again 4:05 and he came out at 4:15. Sales Manager is very nice and very good person. To buy a car if they treat me this way, i can only imagine what will happen when i go for service.

Great, hard working team! Loving my new 2020 Hyundai Kona. My salesman was Richard, he was honest and very friendly. The whole staff had my back during and after the sale. Fred, Tommy, Tara, and McKayla worked their hardest to get the best deal possible. During my time in finance there wasn’t a dull moment. Beware of Bait and Switch -Makayla told us a price that was $5000 over the online advertisement. She tried to tell me in less than 24 hours they added stuff to the car so they could sell it for more. Once I said no way was I buying the car at that price she got up and stomped away. We went to our car to leave and D-Wade came out telling us to give him a chance he could “make” phone calls to get us the deal I wanted. He told us he would call us Monday. Well did he call? No! So I called him. He said he would call me Tuesday. No call.I want to thank Kia of Greenville for my pretty new car! Got a fantastic deal and was treated with respect!! I bought a vehicle from these guys. Found out it was in a severe accident. I was upset about it and feel like I was cheated out of this deal. I tried to talk to Fred, and it was tough. He wouldn’t budge. He said he doesn’t buy back vehicles but would take my car as a trade and hide the negative equity. I tried to meet in the middle by trading with no negative equity, but he wouldn’t move. He said, “as long as the airbags didn’t deploy the vehicle is still good”. We tried to do things there, but it was just frustrating and hard to trust them again. We also called Shawn Lowe and he didn’t return calls. There is more to this story and tried to post it…. but it was too long. It’s been a total nightmare.

While riding around looking at car. When we rode into Hyundai of Greer we did not think we were in the market for a new car yet, we were just out exploring or options. We were greeted by an outgoing salesperson named Heather Moore. She showed us a selection of used cars. We fell in love with a 2017 Santa Fe Ultimate. When it was time to negotiate a deal for our new car, she worked hard to make sure we got a fair price and a price on the new vehicle that worked within our budget. This dealership was overall good. Some things could be improved. The negotiation and final paperwork completion were the two biggest things that could be improved based on my personal shopping for a new car experience here. The salesperson that I had (Brandon) was very professional, nice, detailed, patient, and listened to what I really needed in the new car I was looking for. The finance person that I met with in the back to complete my final paperwork was nice and friendly, however, I felt like he could improve his listening skills because I felt like he was rushing at some points and he wasnt fully listening to me at times. Lastly, the negotiation person that I had could improve. I felt like she didnt listen to me at all and just tried to push the highest price she could on me for monthly payments. She made me feel confused at some points because she was rushing me I felt like. She also wasnt budging on her starting price much at all either, which didnt feel much like a negotiation... When I finally said that I could afford her price and that I would have to leave, she changed her tune real quick and budged a little, but not the price that I wanted. If I came back there to buy another car, I would not want her as my negotiator at all...

I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport in October 2020 and now the vehicle is consuming 1 quart to 1 1/4 quart of oil every 1000 miles. I have been thru a series of tests thru the dealership and now they want me to start the process over again due to manufacture changing their policy. This is ridiculous. I dont recommend buying anything from here.

I was shopping for an Infiniti JX 35 2013, On yesterday Saturday February 20th 2021, I was at a car lot in my hometown, my phone rang I answered and it was a guy named Fred in which I found out later was the GM for Hyundai of Greer1445 E Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29651 saying he had the vehicle with everything I wanted, I said to him, Im on my way, I called back several times for the address of the facility and to question about all that I would need for purchase.This place is 2hours from where I was, in which he knew, when I arrived this GM SOLD the vehicle to someone else, he would not come out and speak with me, he lied and said something was wrong with the Vehicle when it was pulled for sanitizer, they are Liars and they have NO ETHICX HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND LIATS TIBOOT

What a terrible experience it was to work with Hyundai of Greer. I returned my leased car to them with three months of the lease still left and released a new car from them. While working with Carlos, it was an understood that the dealership would pay the last three months of my lease as well as forgiving my over mileage if I stayed with them, which usually applies to all dealerships. Two months later I am sent a bill for $1,800 for the payments and over millage. After calling the dealership multiple multiple times, they have the nerve to not answer. Weeks after they answer, I am told that they will not work with us after they made a verbal agreement. My cosigners credit is impeccable and we could have went anywhere to get a new car. The principle of this is I only stayed with Hyundai because they told me they would forgive everything. I could have went to any dealership I wanted and payed off the $1,800. They are liars, cheap dirt bags, and a unprofessional scam. I am very upset at the way business was taken care of as well as how they took advantage of my 70+ year old grandparents as my cosigners. Save yourself the stress and time and do NOT go here. Carlos Martinez is a fraud as well as Arlene.

Showed up before my appointment to kinda browse the lot. Was met by a gentleman that wasnt who I was supposed to be seeing. Told him that, but he didnt seem to care. Felt super rushed to buy, sign my paperwork and all that. The lady that was helping me was honestly the rudest Ive dealt with. Snatched my phone out of my hand multiple times just to email herself credentials. After all was said and done, I got a 2019 Fusion. I couldnt be happier with the car. But I couldve been a lot happier with the service. Not to mention that the finance manager called me at 10 oclock pm. Who does that? Dissatisfied with that. Dissatisfied with being rushed.

Yesterday I came in with the hopes of trading in my 2017 Hyundai Elantra for the new 2021 Elantra. My sales person was Stephanie. She was a very informative respectful and showed great customer service. She showed me all the great features of the new car and took me on a test drive. After I did the credit application and my credit was run and they had some numbers for me thats when things went down hill. I was approached by the financial manager I believe McKayla. She started to talk to me about numbers and when she gave me what my monthly payment would be I told her no that was not in my budget. After I told her that she proceeded to bring the numbers all the way down and every time she brought them down, I told her no that was not in my budget. She proceeded to tell me how much money I can save and how this was very beneficial for me getting this new car because my car is out of the warranty and if anything happens I would have to pay out of pocket; which I already know that. Now heres the reason why I am giving this review only one star. The financial advisor D. Wade came to talk to me and proceeded to tell me basically everything McKayla said, but in a way that I felt pressured and rushed to take the deal. I told him numerous times I need to think about it, I need to think about it and he still was trying to pressure me to saying yeah to the deal. Also telling me that a couple of dollars over what I am paying for my car payment now is nothing and that I really wasnt going to take the deal over that X amount of money. The amount that they were trying to get me to take the deal was not in my budget and him has a financial advisor clearly not know how to listen to understand things but yet listens to respond. As a customer and someone who has worked in customer service being pressured to buy something is not what a customer wants to feel, especially when buying a car!! Finally I think he got the gist of it when I kept saying I still need time to think about it, so I test drove the car to about 6 PM. Also I heard him talking about me to him to fellow co-worker about how he drop the price again and I still wouldnt take the deal when Stephanie was getting paper work down for me to test drive it for a couple of hours. When I came back to the dealership me and my boyfriend came in to talk to Stephanie and told her why I wasnt going to take the deal, which was because D. Wade approach and demeanor while he was talking to me. Stephanie apologized to me and wanted the general manager to speak to me however he was already gone for the day. As me and my boyfriend proceeded to walk out of the door, D. Wade says out loud that You never wanted to buy the car anyway I honestly feel as though that was very unprofessional and rude of him to say something like that to us. I would never give this dealership my business and you should not either!!! run run run!! The financial team doesnt care about the customer, they just want a deal to be done. FYI to Mr. D. Wade I went to another dealership and got the car for a way better deal!!!! I guess I didnt want to but the car huh!! 🙃😊

Every time that I have to have service done, its always a pleasure. Jeff is ahead of the game when it comes to relaying information and making sure that my experience is the best one. If there is a problem, he lets me know as soon as he can. The technician that did the work on my vehicle was amazing, getting the job done quickly and right. I truly appreciate Jeff and the folks in the service department. I will always recommend them.
